This fine bow has been painted black, all the better to blend perfectly into the deepest night. This was once the first choice of an opulent noble house in their hunting games. Till one day, it fell into the hands of a gentleman thief who was never caught. Its user shot the crowns from the heads of the nobles in utter silence. It shot through many a tightened bond, and disarmed many a pursuing soldier. It once vowed to bring light to a darkened age. To bring justice, riches and gladness to the oppressed. In the past, he did indeed bring justice, riches and gladness to the oppressed, and he brought fear unto those in power, giving them countless sleepless nights in their impotent rage. He brought light footsteps like rain to the roofs and terraces, and he brought song to the bards in the squares. He even once pried a sapphire from a noble's regalia to give to a blue-eyed witch, who hunted the vile with spear in hand. But even to the last, he was unable to bring a single smile to the lips of the witch whom his soul loved, who was as cold as the sapphire he gave her. In the end, seeking death, her flower-like face was marked with a criminal's brand, and none knew where she went thereafter. In the end, the noble thief listened to the advice of his brothers. Abandoning his vow, he sailed into the ocean that belonged to no one. "Pray tell, does she still recall my song? Does she remember those years that pursue me even now, of the wine-scented streets and the songs sung of her?" |

Think this bow is good for Yelan?
I think this would be really good on her, as the Breakthrough Barb needs 5s to charge, so waiting another 5s would be easy and dmg effective, and even if you don’t wait the whole 10s the weapon uses, it’s still 10-20% increased dmg of your Breakthrough Barb. It’s also perfect for her burst as she does not have to be on the field for the dice to do damage and is a great 20-40% extra dmg for her. Might be more reliable than Fading Twilight, but the atk% isnt great for her considering she scales mostly off of HP.
This might be good for Gorou since he would not stay on field.
Exactly what I was thinking
gorou dmg really low. better give him er weapon especially favo for er and itto battery. since his burst cost 80 and has low E particle gen.
i think this bow also bis for sara especially u dont really use her
only skill and burst *Cough Fischl V2
but someone says sacrifical is good neither, but if looking at base attack this bow has bigger than sacrifical.
if u want spamming her E well u can go with sacrifical.
It has literally the same exact base attack as the sacrificial bow.
“but if looking at base attack this bow has bigger than sacrifical”
what???
BiS 4* for Kujou Sara, no?
Sara is not like Bennet ? scaling only with BASE atk?
Yup, this weapon as well as Blackcliff and Sacrificial has the highest base ATK among 4* weapons, so it’s pretty good. The passive will work with Sara really well since she will be off-field most of the time except for her elemental skill and burst. Also since she’ll most likely use the emblem of severed fate set you’ll probably run an ER% sands on her, so the ATK% substat on the bow will help her make up for the lack of ATK% on sands.
Sacrificial has the problem that Sara really doesn’t need its passive, so all of its utility will come from its stats which is honestly respectable since this weapon is only available on limited banners. So if you use Sac you’ll want an ATK% sands.
I’m leveling this bow for kujou
This bow is fucking broken, i swear to god. It’s R5 is pretty ridiculous for someone like Fischl.
Did Stringless’s passive affects to Oz’s attack (I mean when Oz hit enemy, not when he summoned)?
Fischl dont gain Atk with windblume R5, when you throw the crow, then you gain atk, el crow dont gain nothing
I believe people have tested this already. Fischl’s Oz does indeed gain the boost in atk, so I would say it’s just the description that is worded poorly.
You’re right. Westonsm has made a video of this. Windblume passive takes priority before snapshotting hence resulting in increased dmg.
Windblume has a translation error, actually it gaves the bonus while you are using the skill
Is R1 alley hunter or R5 windblume ode better for fischl support?
Alley Hunter R1 is for sure better than R5 Windblume Ode. The Windblume needs you to use a skill to get that passive’s Atk boost. And you need that Atk boost otherwise you are just stuck with EM which is not that great on Fischl.
Alley Hunter has higher base attack and atk% as secondary substat out of the gate.
actually Windblume R5 is better than Alley R1 if youre doing support fishl where you just summon Oz and switch
so i did some dmg calculation and surprisingly Windblume did higher dmg than alley.
dmg dealt by both:
windblume ode = 3070 dmg
alley hunter = 2261 dmg
(i can give u link to my notepad if u want)
Slightly better main stat and slightly more useful secondary stat than Stringless. But less powerful and less useful passive than Stringless. tl’dr balanced weapon; may be slightly better or slightly worse bow than current weapons, but the overall difference is negligible.
This seems to fall between Windblume Ode and Stringless in terms of utility/playstyle. With Windlbume being able to utilize the passive on-field anytime with an E. Alley Hunter can utilize its passive on-filed, but it’s very limited. And lastly, Stringless has no boost to normal/charged attacks in any condition, making it best for off-field type characters (unless your character is like a Childe that uses elementals on-field).
Did calculations to see how this bow’s refinements compare to the r3 Stringless I have on my fischl (these numbers are based on MY artifacts, you may see a different results yourself)
r1 – 7.47%, r2 – 9.85%, r3 – 13.4%, r4 – 16.36%, r5 – 19.32%
So as you can see this bow is very poggy and I will definitely be pulling for it
Did you calculate the total damage in elemental reaction team comp? The stringless gives EM which increases reaction damage you know.
No, I only calculated for her abilities. Personally I think EM was a waste on my Fischl as I have c6 and it seemed like she wasn’t the one triggering reactions most of the time. So I ditched 4pc Thundering Fury for 2pc Gladiator + TF.
Also I made an error on the r2 increase, it’s actually 10.45%
EM doesn’t work well for electro and anemo, 1k reaction dmg isn’t going to tickle anyone anyway. For now I can only see Childe and subDPS Ganyu as potential user of Stringless over Alley Hunter.
So even R1 alley hunter will be better than R3 stringless? My fischl currently use R3 Stringless, 2 TF + 2 glad too, does the dmg boost affect oz dmg when he’s first summoned only, or does it also affect his subsequent attack?
this bow would be 100x better if it wasn’t realised during the same time you get a 4 star bow for free from the event LOL
its still 100x better, even bow is just mega trash
by computing..rust is still far better for fischl as this bow downgrades overtime unlike rust… even with the base atk difference, both still ended up with total of 721 atk adding the atk% substat
What cements that for me is R4 max stack passive is the same as running Thundersoother 4-set which suffers none of those issues on or off field, this bows only good at high refine for people with mediocre mismatched artifacts that should of never been promoted for her in the first place.
Why would you even be comparing this to Rust? Rust is only used for a Phys Fischl build that focuses on using her as a Carry.
Alley Hunter gains buffs when off fiend and loses them while you’re on her. Meaning the complete opposite use of Rust.
If you’re to compare it to another bow, you would compare it to Stringless, used as both Fischl and Venti’s best 4-star bow for off field use.
As even just a bit of a carry, even as a Electro DPS, Fischl with Rust is very competitive, with Thundersoother actually out damages Stringless R1 vs R1 (about equal to R2 Stringless) for Oz damage but about 55% better for white damage due to passive and extra ATK% at R1. If you are using her autos at all and don’t have Skyward its still her BiS from what i’ve experienced, unless there are lots of mobs where VH passive justifies its use as a alternative 4-star weapon. Furthermore, even as a “Carry”, more like one of the carries and all members being important, her best iteration I’ve found and most fun is still in high ER hotswap comps where 4-5 seconds may actually be somewhat viable albeit an occasional limitation, thus the comparison to Alley Hunter.
Will this bow be better for Fischl than Stringless ?
Stringless is not an event exclusive so never.
this bow can be effective for fischl if you’re build her as sub DPS role
Looks like it’s gonna be a top-tier weapon for Sub-DPS Fischl.
