I really wish she wasn’t HP scaling for her buffs. I was really excited to use Scarlet when I heard overload buff but, alas… it is HP yet again.
I also wish we had more supportive weapons and artifacts. I really hate Bennett and want to substitute his utility with other means but… because how Artifact farming is I just keep thinking, “why should I try to farm other sets to try new teams if I know I won’t get the pieces to try said teams and I can just rely on what I have now?”
Well, with that new healing set looking like a dud, I suppose I’ll be looking for… Gosh dangit where’s the 5 star instructor set? Bennett already has Noblesse and this would be the perfect opportunity to easily sneak in some added Overload damage to make the reaction a more desireable.
Noblesse is likely to be Chevreuse’s best set, but if she is being used with Bennett (who is the better user for Noblesse) then I think going for Emblem (for offensive Chevreuse) or Ocean Hued (for healer Chevreuse) would make sense.
Instructor’s , despite being only a 4* set, can still be a good choice. Main issue is that Chevreuse’s personal damage and healing is actually quite decent, so you are losing a bit more than usual by using Instructors and getting the lower stats.
Unless I’m missing something, Clam’s not a great call. At talent lvl 9 with an HP sands, clam will net you right around 3500 damage every 4 seconds before phys resist, if they’re in range of the pop, which may be tricky for a lot of enemies considering you’re going to be exploding them away from you. Better to go 2pc HP% for more heals and synergy with her ascension passive, imo
Also, even though I think Emblem’s going to be good on her no matter what, at C4, 2pc Pyro/ATK% also becomes compelling since your ER needs will be lowered, and The multicast will pair well with Fischl or Raiden letting her potentially fire off multiple overcharged balls in one rotation that wouldn’t benefit from Emblem.
Just to talk about weapons for a sec, Prospector’s Drill seems practically tailor-made for her as a sub-dps, at least with some refinements. Missive Windspear’s tempting, but she’s not gonna be the one triggering the reactions consistently, so you won’t actually benefit much; Deathmatch is probably a close second or on-par depending on refinements, for support it’s either Rightful reward or black tassel depending on your ER needs or how close she is to 40k HP for the full attack buff.
For 5-stars, Staff of Homa is the best of both worlds, basically giving her HP scaling, and Calamity Queller is… actually pretty comparable to the Drill in this case, with 176 more base damage and 9% less elemental damage, with a nearly identical ATK% bump when both weapons are at R1. The base damage gives it to the Queller at R1, but an R5 Drill gives roughly 20% more ATK and *27%* more elemental damage, so if you pulled 5 of these things back when you were trying to get Wrio’s BiS awhile back, you’re actually kinda ballin’ with Chevy.
(Also Lithic Spear chads can run Keqing-Beidou-Xiangling and never look back)
dont be fooled by her passives when shes tied to such a bad reaction, but i guess its as expected from this flop of a region to have characters with such cringe limitations
dont tell me what to do.
maybe just a little better than Kazuha for overload teams in c6…
but her buff is extremely easy to be actived, effects both Pyro/electro elements and works equally on Off-field and On-field characters.
we know arlecchino is Pyro and there will be many Pyro characters in Nathan.
chevy may become the most op character but overload is too ordinary for “new pryo”
I want her!!! She looks like Pom Pom from Star Rail! ❤️
