Character Details | It is unlikely that travelers from other nations will understand why the god of this land is regarded as a "superstar" unless they set foot in the Opera Epiclese. Whether at performances or trials, she will always be in the seat reserved for her above the audience, laughing, scolding, falling into hysterics, to the point where more often than not she makes a stronger impression than the action onstage. People buy tickets to indulge in new sensory experiences, and in this regard, Furina is by far more popular than the absolute justice that Neuvillette represents. The forms respect can take are not limited to just lifting one's eyes up to a being above, and the unique form of respect Fontainians have for Furina is perhaps described better as "affection and fondness." She is not perfect, and may not even be very powerful, but while onstage, she is the personage the people trust the most, for she never disappoints. Among Fontainian literary circles, there is a popular saying that Furina is a memory of spring never-fading, present in the hearts of all. And who does not wish for an eternal spring? Spring is transient, but she is ever there — follow the stage lights, and you shall see her. |
Character Story 1 | As the icon of the Opera Epiclese, Furina has the right to speak freely during all stages of a trial. Most of her questions are born from her curiosity and often have tenuous logical connections with the case at best, which at times can provoke raucous bursts of laughter from the audience. But just as one might begin to suspect that Furina is just there for laughs and gags, and lacks even the capability to grasp the case in its entirety, she throws out opinions worth their weight in gold. Of course, there are also times when she will express little interest in the whole process due to having earlier eaten snacks ill to her liking or missed some parade, but it is said that audience members lucky enough to be there are still pleased with this, as a god who speaks in anger is equally enchanting. There is but one circumstance in which she will not appear to act quite so willfully, and that is when she takes the stage as an actress in a musical. Fontaine has a great many musical theater classics passed down from antiquity that are, from time to time, performed at the Opera Epiclese, with key roles being played by the most popular actors of the day. Before such productions are put on, there is a phase during preparations that resembles nothing so much as a lucky draw, where the troupe will send Furina an invitation. Should the mood strike her, she will agree to appear, resulting in a stage shared by a god and humans. Once Furina has agreed to participate, the performance date for that show becomes a Fontainian festival in its own right, so popular that the Opera Epiclese couldn't possibly meet the fervent demand even if they sold nothing but standing tickets and were filled to capacity. And when the music sounds and a god takes the stage, the audience will see not their lovable deity, who does as she pleases, but the character in the script. Whether majestic or valiant, conniving or covetous, Furina is a dab hand at playing them all, perfect down to the last gesture, as if she were born to act. And it is because of her record of wondrous performances that she very much deserves to be called "superstar" by her people. Even a famous reporter from The Steambird who had barely squeaked their way backstage was completely awestruck, such that it was a long while before they remembered the interview questions in their notebook. "Lady Furina, might I ask how you were able to attain such great mastery acting as an Archon, though no one has ever seen you practice?" Furina's reply was proud, albeit uncharacteristically simple. "Why, because I am a god. Next question!" * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 2 |
Character Story 2 | Cases and performances take up a great deal of Furina's time, and even without these two things, she still shows up for all kinds of social activities and dinner parties related to government business and diplomacy. Of course, social engagement is usually the limit of her remit, while the real behind-the-scenes work, and sometimes even certain important speeches made during these interactions, are handled by others. Furina is quite thankful for these proxies, for she has heard that her life of leisure is a rare privilege in a world where most other gods have an endless parade of duties large and small to attend to. She once considered that it might be right to set a... godly example, so to speak, and so she attempted to take part in the Palais Mermonia's day-to-day work when she had an excessive amount of free time on her hands... However, her offers were respectfully yet consistently declined by both humans and Melusines, who insisted that "there are no great duties at present that need to be handed over to our god." Though these words did make her glad, of course, after a few attempts she quickly realized how impractical it would be to use the work of the Palais Mermonia to escape her boredom. Furina actually has another hobby, known to very few, and that is playing with little animals. Fontaine's waterscapes are vast and beautiful, as well as blessed with innumerable adorable creatures. For one who always finds herself interacting with humans like Furina, this serves as an excellent change of pace. However, animal habits are inconsistent and unpredictable, and Furina's carefree attitude always seems to rub them the wrong way. As in the "if she's not being blasted in the face by Hat Jellyfish, then she's being pursued to the ends of the ocean by Hunter's Rays" kind of wrong way. It can be argued that the underwater world is more primitive and wild than the surface world, considering how little respect the animals here give a god on account of her status alone. Nonetheless, Furina did eventually discover the animal for her ministrations — the sunbathing, beach-loving, horizontal alignment-enjoying Blubberbeasts. Cheek squeezes, belly rubs, and even flipping them over, then over again, gets at most a turn of the head and noiseless protest. "Hmm? You like it? Hehe, so do I!" A few mild miscommunications aside, they have since become the best of friends. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 3 |
Character Story 3 | Although Furina does tend to give people the impression of one prone to wandering thoughts and only tangential concern for the rules, she does have strict standards — in certain circumstances, anyway, especially before or after performances. Everything must be to her satisfaction, be it the make or color of the props, the timing of the brightening and dimming of the lighting, or the pace and rhythm of the music. As such, sharing the stage with a god is not some shortcut to glory, but one paved with blood, sweat, and tears, to the point where even the stories of a hard-to-please superstar prima donna fond of shows and with theatrical swagger to spare has reached even the lowliest street stalls. Indeed, there was once a famous troupe that won the chance to perform with her, and pretended to agree to her exacting demands, only to default to methods they were more accustomed to during real rehearsals and performance prep. The troupe director was confident in this method, believing that given Furina's personality, she would be most willing to back down on said demands if she were appropriately flattered and saw that everything was already complete and thus too late to change — a most excellent way to save effort and trouble. But when the director began moving their props to the Opera Epiclese, he found Furina there, directing another troupe as they set up the stage rigging. "Why, hello. You didn't seem interested in my opinions, so I arranged to perform with a different troupe." The director was stunned. He had planned for Furina to discover the "flaws" in her view only after setup was complete. But he could already tell that the stage sections that had been constructed precisely in accordance with her directions were significantly superior. Ordinary audience members couldn't necessarily tell, of course, but to professionals, the difference was always in the details, and these were obvious at a glance. Still, this director was unwilling to simply turn back, criticizing Furina for not adhering to the spirit of contractual obligation by not informing them beforehand of her contingency arrangements. Furina would not let this villain cast the first stone, instead scrunching her face into an expression of disbelief. "You don't really think I'm that much of a gullible fool, do you? Guards! Send them on their way." * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 4 |
Character Story 4 | Round and round the interminable performance went, the day of the curtain call ever beyond reach, but so long as the prophecy loomed, the tale of this god must go on. Though Fontainians found no real reason to doubt Furina over the years, she knew that the collapse of trust could begin with a single crack. No matter how small, once it appeared, it would be irreversible. And the consequences of being exposed would be to reduce all her long years of work to dust, to allow Fontaine to fall — that was unconscionable! So she did her best to laugh loudly when she should be glad, and weep bitterly when she should grieve, and display the divine bearing of an Archon when it was time to show off, all without fail, all without rest. She knew that this was a performance. If she could endure until the danger had passed, she could finally take off her mask and regain the freedom to express her feelings. Yet, she slowly began to realize that the godly role she was playing was eating into her. A horrifying doubt began to creep up on her — how should she react when glad, if not to laugh loudly? Perhaps she was once a girl who did not much enjoy laughter. Perhaps she had once been the sort to give up on herself at the first sign of difficulty, but such emotions had already slipped away, bit by bit. Those in the performance arts often say that one must become a character to play them. From that perspective, Furina's performance as the Hydro Archon has been flawless. Her painstaking perseverance produced the perfect product. But no one has ever spoken of what might transpire once the last light had dimmed, for to them, the stage is fleeting. For one such as Furina, who has acted for far too long, even the path back offstage has faded into dust, buried by the sands of time. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 5 |
Character Story 5 | The crisis of original sin was resolved, and Fontaine came under a new order. The affected areas were gradually rebuilt, and the people held high hopes for the future. Furina was the only one with no place in this new world. She was quick to pack her bags and leave the Palais Mermonia, nor did she return to the Opera Epiclese. She simply wanted to leave the memories that brought her so much pain as far behind as possible, and she was uninterested in the debates surrounding her — the Hydro Archon's tale was over, as it should be. But where should an actress who had finished her part and fulfilled her duty go? None could say, and the concept of "freedom" rang hollow. Furina's luggage remained piled up in her new rental apartment, and she lacked all will even to tidy up or get moved in. All she could do was lie in bed and stare at the bare ceiling. Those she knew had very quickly found their place in the new order. Whether due to their strength, duties, or friendships, their importance made them irreplaceable. In circumstances such as these, didn't "free" simply mean being someone who no one needed? Just as she had reached this conclusion, her new residence received its first guest — Clorinde the Champion Duelist. The duelist was shocked at Furina's living conditions, quickly expressing her willingness to pay for better accommodations, a notion Furina expended no small amount of effort disabusing her of. Despite this, she was dragged, however reluctantly, into at least properly unpacking and tidying up the room. Clorinde then explained that she was here to invite Furina to a gathering. The duelist rarely took part in social events, but this gathering was one of old friends, who, as it happened, also knew Furina, and whom Clorinde had not seen in a while, anyway, so she thought she'd extend an invitation. In days past, Furina would certainly have refused, for the greater the intimacy of her association with others, the more difficult it would be to conceal her true identity. The duelist smiled as Furina guiltily lifted her eyes, having seemingly already guessed the latter's feelings as well as her old reasons for snubbing such events. "I don't suppose you have any reason to refuse now, do you?" "Well... I'm not very good at this sort of thing, so, um... Don't you think I'd, you know, be a bit of a wet blanket?" That night, Furina finally got to experience what it was like to revel and drink with friends. In truth, she was cautious at first but was restored to her normal self within two cups — indeed, so much so that at one point Clorinde had to restrain her from leaping onto the table. For someone as reticent as the duelist, the real Furina's explosiveness was quite the surprise. As for Furina, she still knew not where to go, but if nothing else, she now knew that "freedom" did not mean solitude. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 6 |
Salon Solitaire | Furina once found a relatively unknown book in a library of Fontaine, and the story's main character was a servant working in an opulent mansion. The idealistic young Mademoiselle Crabaletta, following a newspaper advertisement, came to a remote manor in the mountains to apply for employment, and despite her clumsiness, became a maid there all the same. The Master of said mansion did not appear often, and though his loquacious surintendante and etiquette-minded gentilhomme managed it in his absence, she led a carefree life there. None of the manor's attendants had been to the city in quite a long while, and so the maid taught them to sing the latest songs, play the latest tabletop games, and thus the servants grew closer and enjoyed one another's company. There was but one ironclad rule, which was that none should approach the heavy wooden door that led three floors underground, behind which was locked a secret that only the Master of the mansion was privy to. Though the maid was curious, she treasured her vibrant life there too much to pry. Time passed quietly, and one day, they were told by the gentilhomme that the Master was about to visit, and so the servants hurriedly began to prepare. The banquet was akin to a festival, and laughter and cheer filled every corner of the mansion — at least, until the Master was late the second day, and upon investigating, the maid was to discover his already-cold corpse. The Gardes narrowed the suspects down to the servants, but the maid, convinced that the Master's death had something to do with the mansion's secret, at last decided to open that forbidden gate. To her surprise, what awaited her on the other side was the mansion's main hall, upon the central stairs of which stood the all-too-familiar surintendante of the house. The words she spoke, too, were bizarrely known to the maid. "Ah, you must be our newest applicant. Crabaletta, I believe?" Furina was quite dumbfounded when she read that, for the story here recalled similar events in her memories. She admired the happy lives of the maid and the other servants, and the maid's courage in facing down the ancient secret to defend that life. Later, Furina dreamt of that same mansion. In her dream, she was Crabaletta, huffing and puffing as she ran to that door of secrets, and, with one deep breath, pushed it open. Behind it was a torrent of seawater that drowned the mansion in an instant, dissolving all in its wake — the Gardes, the surintendante of the house, the gentilhomme, and even herself. Furina woke with a start, looking around her to gather her wits, and the rest of the story sprang to her mind, unbidden... Crabaletta made use of the time loop triggered by opening the door to solve the mystery of the Master's death and discover the mansion's secret, freeing all its inhabitants from an ancient curse. "Thank you, Crabaletta." She thanked the brave, stalwart girl for giving that tale a happy ending. And as for several vivid figures from the story, they would eventually be given lovely forms, that they might be by Furina's side. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 4 |

Vision | "If you become human, you can reveal your secret to no-one. You will face suffering and loneliness... Is this still what you want?" By a twist of fate, the musical "The Little Oceanid" which nearly died before it could live, got the chance to be performed, and proved a resounding success at the Opera Epiclese. Furina, standing in for the real actress, played the heroine Clio, who sacrificed herself to guide the freshwater upon which human survival depended back to them. According to the script, she was not to take up the Vision that would appear before her as she disappeared, but instead allow it to fall into the ocean depths alone. But during the actual performance, a real Vision appeared, and it belonged to Furina. Visions are usually objects that appear in response to humankind's most fervent wishes, but this one, in particular, seemed more like a reward for her past deeds. As Furina grasped it, its reflected radiance seemed to contain her heart, filled once again by this performance. Performing had, in the past, brought her much pain, to the point where she had turned her back on the stage, but she indubitably understood the glory and brilliance of the stage best of all, and could give those who chase their dreams on the stage her matchless guidance and support. As to the question of what to do next, which had plagued her for so long, she now had a clear answer: To see this world from the perspective of the audience, and create the greatest performances without stepping onstage. No longer would her attention be focused only on musicals — as long as it's related to performance, Furina is interested in taking part from behind the curtain. Also, it is worth mentioning that though she seemed quite calm upon receiving that Vision, so much so that she even managed a few fine words, upon leaving the theater troupe, Furina immediately set off afterward to avenge herself on the "Local Legend" she had once angered by accident... which ended quite poorly for her. She returned home, dejected but not defeated. She spent all night studying her Vision, which ended up causing the entire building to flood. And once she had finally cleaned things up together with the Salon Members, she received a final missive from the apartment manager. "No pets allowed in these apartments — not even if they are a Gentilhomme or Surintendante." * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 6 |

Furina lifted the sisters Jean and Barbara from irrelevance. Good stuff right there, I run Diluc, XQ, Furina, Jean. It’s a fun team.
I can’t take it anymore. I’m sick of Furina. I try to play Ayato. My Furina deals more damage. I try to play Yoimiya. My Furina deals more damage. I try to play Cyno. My Furina deals more damage. I want to play Hu Tao. Her best team has Furina. She grabs me by the throat. I farm for her. I cook her macaroni. I give her Fav. She isn’t satisfied. I give her my R5 Festering Desire. “I don’t need this much energy” She tells me. “Give me more field time with C6.” She grabs Yelan and forces her to throw herself at enemies. “You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Splendor.” I can’t pull for Splendor, I don’t have enough primogems. She grabs my credit card. It declines. “Guess this is the end.” She summons Mademoiselle Crabaletta. She says “The show begins.” There is no hint of sadness in her eyes. Nothing but pure, unrivaled dmg. What a cruel world

It’s just a copypasta, not really a bait.
yall saying she needs a healer but with neuv, furina, sucrose and fischl abyss floors r easily cleared, so the health drain doesn’t really matter. plus its not that hard to still get 3 stars while healing with her
so in the end she just an E-Q-Neuvillette bot? Very flexibility.
I played Furina in abysses in various team (DPS Noelle double hydro, Yoimiya vape, Rizzly freeze, Ayaka freeze, Kokomi Mono hydro, Hyperbloom variants, HyperRaiden instead of Benny Boy…) and all of them worked fine and were fun to play.
Healers were Kokomi, Noelle, Jean, Charlotte or Mika, and even herself every other rotation in a Tighnari/Yae team. (it’s not the most efficient, I know, but it’s doable and it does work)
=> Yes, Furina is flexible and can be played both side in various teams.
noelle dps with double hydro isn’t really noelle dps, you hydros will do more damage than her probably
yoimiya vape kinda sucks a lot with furina tbh, she’s really bad as an enabler and you probably still need a shielder alongside a healer for furina
mono element teams are boring af, there, I said it
and does hyperbloom actually gain anything from her? again, furina sucks as an enabler and doesn’t even increase transformative reaction dmg, I’d rather go double dendro XQ tbh
Ah another scrub who can’t play without the use of ‘press a button and be done’ characters. I hope these older, more powerful and versatile characters get heavily nerfed so people actually use characters outside of Bennett/Kazuha/XQ everywhere.
Noelle/Yunjin or C6 Gorou/Double hydro still sees Noelle’s dmg and it’s satisfying.
I never played Yoimiya with a shield and I feel fine, thanks. I know, some time you overide and Furina get some forward vape but it not that big of a deal. You can play double hydro if you want, it already was doable with XQ and people do it with HuTao anyway.
Not as boring as playing the same national team with XL or the same HuTao team for 3 years imo.
She still is a decent option, does decent damage and increase some others dmg like Nahida or Alhaitham. You rarely have an hyperbloom team where your only source of dmg is the hyperbloom. Team is 4 characters, hyperbloom trigger is only one of them.
Play what feel the most confortable for you, but don’t spread misinformations about Furina’s “lack of flexibility”.
@NerfVersion1
???
@Dnoyr Noptère
oh yeah sure you see Noelle damage, she just really isn’t the main source of dps in that specific team
double hydro is good for Hu Tao because hp conversion, Yoimiya doesn’t gain anything from it other than “fixing” Furina’s poor application
nah, it is more boring than that, I like to see reaction texts and more numbers and colors, idk about you tho
sure, that’s true, but doesn’t change the fact that most characters built for hyperbloom are usually geared towards reaction dmg rather than talent, only like Cyno, Alhaitham, XQ himself and maybe Nahida aren’t, so defensive utility + more reactions with XQ >>> a small increase in talent dmg for characters that wouldn’t really benefit from it anyways
literally u can run her with health drain characters aswell like hutao, it was an example
Not a bad character at all. Lets you cope with those costly copium 5* healers that many used to use for no reasons. But in most of the current stable teams that rarely rely on any copium fulltime healer, addition of her thinking her dmg buff is really good, you still ultimately lose a potential good support like kazuha/zhongli for the copium healer you need to bring along. Yes, now you can really feel the overheal being a necessity because you are bleeding yourself using this archon and that over heal is being used as the dmg buff. But still for comfort’s sale I prefer the traditional shield than copium heal because getting interrupted/ sudden one shot on low hp due to constant hp drain…still sukz. yes I am bad at dodging and hate to press retry again and again in the abyss unlike many try hards. Shield is still the best thing that lets you punch through anything without thinking too much,
I never really relied on shields (even if my Kirara, Diona and Layla are well built) so it’s fine to me. And I don’t need to tryhard when I play normal teams.
I played Furina in different teams, with team wide healers like Jean, Charlotte or even Mika and I never lost a character because of her drain. Taking a blow and ending in red, yes, but not diyng. A burst and everyone is full life (and Fanfare is max stacked (or nearly). Furina A1 is well thought to sustain heal the team and finishing Fanfare stacking.
I played with healer driver like Kokomi and Qiqi and I never felt in danger. Fanfare stack pretty fast, it’s comfy.
If you really need a shield, just stack to Neuvi/Furi/Kazuha/John Lee. It works fine.
a different busted unit that allows playing other comps pairing them with the top ones and people still wants to play the same team for 3 years and then complaining bc there are no changes in the game….
btw, with a minimum of decent rotations, hp never will go under 70%
He admits he sucks at the game because he’s crutched Zhongli/Kazuha/Bennett for as long as he’s played. Of course he sucks with a unit that actually requires you to play the game and think about using units that don’t just switch the game off. But I get where he’s coming from. She has to jump through so many hoops for an equivalent (at C0) buff to Kazuha who just has to press a button. It’s getting a bit ridiculous now frankly.
Arlecchino-” Save the Fontaine society…Furina!!”
Neuvillette-” Are you the Hydro Archon because you’re Furina…or does being the Hydro Archon make you Furina ?”
Other Archons-” Stand proud Furina, you are strong”
Traveler-” This is truly our Genshin Impact, Furina”
As the strongest curse Jogoat fought the fraud, the king of curses. He began to open his domain. Sukuna shrunk back in fear, then Jogoat said, “Stand proud, sukuna, you are strong.
Pls, somebody help me to understand why Fiorina build hp% goblet instead of hydro bones goblet, especially on golden troupe set???
It is easy to farm HP% goblets, plus her A4 passive gives extra DMG (up to 28%) based on her HP (capped in 40k) to her skill, and most importantly, she already receives a huge boost in damage trough her Burst (75% DMG – burst level 10 max fanfare) so she is less reliant in hydro damage bonus. If you have a good hydro goblet, it is still very viable, though
Everything with DMG in its discription is is added into the same multiplier, and Furina will have a lot of that (A4, possibly weapon, set, Kazuha,…). For maximum damage, its always wise to balance out your stats, so if your character has a lot of one stat you should primarily focus on others (attack/HP, critstats). In Furinas case, she scales even better with HP before the 40k HP mark, thanks to her A4.
Then again, the actual benefit of her aiming for an HP goblet is minimal. Dont equip a crappy HP goblet if you have a great hydro one, always take the substats into consideration. Im sure there are spreadsheets for her somewhere on the internet, if you are interested.
TLDR
HP goblet for her is viable, but not an absolute must.
TL;DR: She gets a ton of bonus dmg% from her burst, her A4 and her set. C2 helps to even things out, but before then her HP% is really low compared to dmg%. Even using Key, the highest HP% sword in the game, without c2 you’ll still want an hp% goblet more than a hydro one.
So first of all, she’s one of the characters who fully scales with HP, so HP% and DMG% are equivalent multipliers (as opposed to characters like Hu Tao – with HP-to-attack conversion and a preference for HP – or Zhongli with split scaling on all damage from his a4. They get dmg% to multiply both the dmg coming from their hp stats and attack stats, which makes elemental goblets more valuable.). Therefore, with both HP% and DMG% goblets giving 46.6% of the stat, we’ll be looking at which of them is lower without a goblet and adding a goblet with the right main stat, because that makes the final damage higher due to diminishing returns.
For ER I’ll assume requirements around 150-180%, which is what I’ve been working with in my teams with double-hydro or favonius weapons, but please note that she can go up to around 220% which is usually solved with Favonius, but if unavailable might lead to you using an ER sword with ER sands. In that case, HP% will be even lower.
Golden Troupe gives 70% dmg, a fully stacked burst gives 75%, or 100% at c1 (assuming talent level 10), her 4th ascension gives another 28% dmg to her skill, which is basically synonymous with all of her damage. So that’s a total of 173% at c0 or 198% at c1.
When you look at hp%, you get 46.6% from sands, somewhere in the 10-30% range from substats, and possibly 25% from hydro resonance. At c2 she can get another 140% if she manages to get the passive fully stacked. So assuming double-hydro teams only, it’s around 80% – 100% at c0 or 220% – 240% at c2. With ER sands, which Furina usually needs without an ER weapon or her c4, you go down to 35-55% at c0 or 175-195% at c2.
With the kit and set out of the way, let’s look at how her more popular swords go:
Her signature Splendor of Tranquil Waters gives 24% dmg and 28% HP fully stacked (or twice as much at R5, but I’ll look only at R1), so it barely changes the stat balance by itself, and makes ER sands a more popular choice, so you’re at 197% dmg vs 63-83% HP at c0, or 223% dmg vs 203-223% HP at c2.
Jade Cutter gives 20% HP and also tends to require ER sands, so 173% dmg vs 55-75% HP at c0, or 193% dmg vs 195-215% HP at c2.
Key gives 66.2% HP and encourages ER sands, so 173% dmg vs 101-121% hp at c0, or 198% dmg vs 241-261 HP at c2.
Her veteran-f2p sword, Festering Desire, gives you 32% dmg and the ER to usually use HP% sands, so 205% dmg vs 80%-100% at c0, or 230% dmg vs 220-240% HP at c2.
Her baseline F2P sword Fleuve Cendre (from Fontaine fishing), and Favonius the “nuclear option” of ER needs, give her no damage or HP and the ER to usually use HP sands, so that’s 173% dmg vs 80-100% HP at c0, or 198% dmg vs 220-240% HP at c2.
Some other characters also have team-wide dmg% buffs in their kits, notably Kazuha who features in a lot of teams (for reference, a 900 EM Kazu gives 36% damage from his A4), and Mona (who you probably shouldn’t run with Furina, but who am I to stop you? :p) or the Archaic Petra set with some niche popularity on supports in geo-flavored hydro teams (35% dmg), whereas the only HP% buff I can think of is Yelan’s c4 (20-40% HP). Usually you’ll have more dmg% from teammates than hp%, if any.
So to sum things up, at c2+ you can generally pick the better goblet or even slightly favor the hydro one based on substat quality, but otherwise your HP% is WAY behind and needs the help from a goblet if you have one at all.
If you don’t fully stack her, things will be different, but I don’t feel like looking at all the possible breakpoints for Fanfare stacking and this comment is already an essay. At c0 even with no burst stacks you’re looking at, at best, 98% dmg vs 80-100% HP, or at worst a measly 10-30% if no hydro resonance and ER sands. So any burst stacks will start to tip the balance towards hp% goblets.
PS. At the end I noticed that I assume hydro resonance all the time in the weapon section, but I also didn’t count flat HP from her flower and substats which comes up to around 30-40% HP at 90, so let’s say one error kind-of cancels out another? 🙂 HP% should be roughly 10% higher than listed, so I believe my point still stands, especially at c0-c1.
as a welkin player,
it took 354 pulls to get c3 and r1.
glad i skipped everyone else because my c6r1 yelan already hit like a truck, now hits like a tank thanks to furina.
She is a mess at c0
1. Her stats requirement is awful. You wont reach 40k hp+75/150 cr/cd+some ER, even with above average artifact.
2. She dont really bring improvement in already good old team comp.
3. Her play style is such a pain. In general you need to cast burst and skill, *waiting your hp to get drained*, use your healer, then finally start you usual rotation.
4. She drain hp A LOT and make you more vulnerable. Sadly, you can hardly fit shielder on her team.
Tldr: she is good as character but disappointment as an archon who heavily dependant on her constellation.
I miss old archon concept that dont need heavy invested artifact while universally good on many team comp.
I don’t know about you, but my c0 Furina has 40.8k HP and 63/174 with 173 ER in a double hydro team
‘double hydro’ opinion discarded.
Already proved she not flexible
Also bet that you using festering desire, a weapon not anyone have
didnt have limited weapon? not my problem.
cant generate stacks fast? cant heal? go conste
cant go conste? not my problem, opinion discarded
She doesn’t even need that, Pipe + FavCharlotte ER/ATK/HB and you are good to go. C0 Pipe Furina is fine.
what a comment, opinion discarded
The guy doesn’t know the pipe lol. Guess what, it’s a free weapon ! =O
My Furina is 56(+16)/200, 40K HP and 174% ER in 4p Troupe with the pipe, and I have no problem in double hydro, and only need a fav proc in solo hydro. (tested against a boss)
Guess what, Charlotte and Jean are good fav holders. =D
And I can even give Furina the fav sword if I really need her to self battery herself in solo teams. She will still do some nice dmg will buffing the whole team.
Adding a healer to benefit of all of her kit (dmg + huge buff for all the team) isn’t a downgrade imo, even more if the healer brings cryo res and battery (Charlotte/Mika), Dendro for Quicken/HB (Baizhu) or VV debuff. (Jean)
2. She opens new ones, it’s better. Old teams are already good enough. Noone need to improve Xiangling again.
3. You don’t need to wait, you do your usual rotations, you just get stacks faster the second one.
4. 46-50% in 20s in really manageable. Even with single target healer like Kokomi/Bennett, just E+Q, 2 sec on field and you recover 6K+ HP. It’s a lot on 17-18K HP DPS being midlife. I played her if various teams in abyss previous rotation and I didn’t met survability problems. Maybe because I ‘m used to play without shielder ?
And nothing I said involves constellations. Cons are improvement and confort, not mandatory.
And you didn’t prove anything about her flexibility. You can play her in nearly anyteam you need hydro, even Furinational exists. I even played her with Nilou’s Khaj for some nice vape with Yoimiya.
Archon universal ? Raiden gained dendro for HB but before, Rational and HyperCarry, wow such a versatility. Otherwise yes, others archons are versatile too.
Dont most hydro applicators run double hydro like in vape? Like, you’re not using Yelan alone bruh. Furina is a combination of Yelan and Mona, even similar hydro app. So her ER reqs are pretty similar.
And you don’t even NEED Festering Desire. Favge is still a fair choice. Not like she scales on atk anyways. In a Q-E rotation, she’s bound to trigger fav and be the one collecting them. I prefer energy for everyone than more personal skill dmg. Having that buff always active is more impactful than the skill doing more damage.
Plus, she runs HP goblet which closes the gap. Isn’t HP% subs anecdotally more likely to roll than ATK% anyways?
There’s also the Fleuvre Cendre, which works in symphony with Favge Jean or other healer with fav, who is likely to follow right after Furina’s Q to get the instant fanfare. Perhaps the 16% crit from Fleuvre is not that valuable to you then.
Fontaine’s still not done with releasing weapon series, so still a possibility to get more ER weapons that sync with her or HP weapons with more viable passives for Furina.
1. you can say the same for almost every character at c0 lol.
2. you can say the same for any new character
3. thats just, your opinion man.
4. i dont see any problem here, you guys have healer right?
imagine min-maxing in a gacha game, very funny. just enjoy playing as jesus guys.
1. No, other archon dont have this kind of problem.
2. If new means fountain characters then yes. But sumerus bring many improvement on previous character.
3. Sure, the whole comment is my opinion.
4. But you need to keep at reduced hp for next furina burst? Not even saying that some dps need shield for knock back resist.
You are right, most people pull her because she can walk freely on water. Thats the most important thing.
Ad. 2: IMO Sumeru characters didn’t really improve from old characters/teams so much as they added new teams, or improved teams that were barely added in 4.0 because of interactions with dendro. The new teams were often better than older teams for equivalent situations, but I think it was mostly Inazuma that focused on straight-up upgrading from older characters (Kokomi over Barbara, Raiden over Keqing, Itto over Noelle, Ayaka over Ganyu freeze maybe). Sumeru had a great lineup overall (barring the one obvious exception), but they weren’t really huge upgrades, just dendro being dendro as a newly established game mechanic. If Fontaine added hydro into the game, we’d be losing our collective minds over how good it is too, or even more.
Tighnari, Nilou – they basically made their archetypes playable, nobody would unironically advocate for spread with Collei or DMC, and baseline bloom is really cope and a pain against mobile enemies who won’t wait for seeds to explode.
Cyno – marginal/arguable improvement over Keqing (trading higher damage in best-case scenario for much less flexibility with rotations and team comps), sidegrade/downgrade from Raiden in hyperbloom/quickbloom, downgrade from Yae in aggravate.
Nahida – 100% an upgrade over existing options.
Wanderer – sidegrade to Xiao as anemo carry, trading AoE for ST. Sidegrade or downgrade from Raiden or Ayaka as a hypercarry unit.
Alhaitham – sidegrade or slight downgrade to Nahida generally. Solid upgrade over the others if you can spare the on-field time, though. Being a slight downgrade to Nahida still puts him at a high tier, of course.
Dehya – she sure exists, huh?
Baizhu – back then a sidegrade to Yaoyao, more healing with less dendro application. Now an upgrade in Furina comps, and maybe for some future characters with heavily HP-negative rotations.
ON point 2: Sumeru literally only improved Kuki, Thoma, and Keqing for underdog characters. Nahida made Dendro Traveler look unappealing which means Nahida pretty much nerfed DMC’s usage because in every way, Nahida is just better than him/her.
Also, Raiden does have the same stat problem at C0, and she also gets stats resolved by a fishing weapon like it is with Furina. And Raiden also only improved national and Eula arguably so. Raiden needs C2 to say she can be a hyper-carry. At c0, Raiden’s teams are fiarly limited to the 1.0 characters and a 1.0 character’s female variant.
You also don’t need to keep your team at a reduced HP. It only mattered for Jean who is among the few with a massive nuke heal. Other characters have longer sustained healing than Jean, so they build up fanfare over time quicker. Baizhu especially. Other than that, the driver healers are fairly tanky, including Qiqi, so they can literally facetank, brush it off, and heal for mroe fanfare. People even use Jean as a driver for mon-hydro and XIngqiu’s presence allows for facetanking with her.
Back to the point on point 2, Nahida didn’t help anyone outside of dendro teams, maybe only Ganyu, but burn-melt wasn’t as viable until Wriothesley.
So, none of these issues you say are actually only pertaining to Furina. Even for stat distribution, she has access to fishing weapons like Raiden and has a better E without needing to trash her Q *cough* EM Raiden *cough*.
1) My lvl 70 Furina with 37K HP with Troupe, 85-171 crit : Fam, you just have skills issue and poor artifacts luck.
2) Perhaps.
3) Perhaps.
4) Just 50%. Don’t fuss and add a healer with other utilities.
You can also just heal while she drains, and it would be the equivalent of Yelan’s ramping dmg buff but much faster.
Her stats requirements aren’t bad either, especially since Fleuvre and Festering DEsire increases crit rate. She has a crit rate ascension stat. She typically runs with a second hydro so 40% more max HP. She runs an HP goblet so smaller gap towards 40k HP. She’s basically built the same way you would focus on Raiden- ER, but make sure a 1:2 ratio is acheivable. Then let the HP to 40k be achieved via HP goblet and Hydro resonance. The idea is HP sands when you have an ER weapon, or ER sands when you have an HP or non-ER weapon. 160% ER is not bad especially for double hydro. Yelan likens to that ER amount and she basically stuck running a Fav bow.
Furina is not intended to be an upgrade. Nahida is a mistake as she is a permanenet upgrade to pretty much all dendro teams, making her a 100% use case for any bloom team. Nahida wasn’t a major upgrade to any teams besides dendro. Raiden wasn’t an upgrade to any teams but rational which is arguable.
Furina is instead a defibrillator. She revives many dead characters or underused characters and makes their teams on par with the already established teams. It looks like people just prefer making same teams stronger and keeping those characters benched than giving those benched characters a reason to be played.
Y’know, Mika was spat on and basically called a downgrade to Bennett for Eula teams with his healing just being secondary feature, but now Furina makes it a primary feature, hence his atk speed being pretty valuable for teams like with Yoimiya, Wanderer, and even Wriothesley.
And Noelle was a downgrade to Itto for mono geo but Furina makes Noelle mono geo stronger and Noelle as a driver even better than she was in hyperbloom. Noelle also got hefty buff by Marechaussee, especially since managing between ER, crit ratio, and DEf was tough.
There was really no reason to use Jean when Kazuha existed but Furina may have made Jean the best standard character fr. It made Sunfire teams more feasible and reasonable to play, but also made Hu Tao VV a reality, and with a good reason to do so.
Furina just made geo better, yet geo has been stuck with mono-geo for too long and crystallize is the same thing it’s always been. Furina also helped anemo dps teams.. And she made quickbloom so much better, and Baizhu became top tier for quickbloom. It also means spread and aggravate got buffed. Who cares about anemo in quicken teams when you can get hyperbloom as well and the whole team gets buffed, dendro included.
Thus, Furina isn’t an end-all be-all for an archon, she is large improvement for teams that needed to catch up with established meta teams, but also buffed characters that had low abyss usage while increasing usage of characters that invoke team healing. Jean’s back in the meta, baby.
Fleuvre is a joke compare to Festering Desire, only has more 4 crit rate while losing 32% dmg bonus. Furina is Albedo who also shit without limited weapon.
Noelle Furina still a joke compare to mono Itto, Cyno Furina still a joke compare to Raiden, nothing changed at all. They’re still mid and below major dpses.
Use Jean = no CC, good luck with that.
MH set also not bis on most characters, so not too impressive.
In the end she just a EQ Fontaine Males Bot needs a limited weapon.
Did you lose your 50-50 or what? You try to throw shame so bady on furina for reason.
There are many TC-s that already proved that Furina makes some existing teams better at C0 (both with math and testing), and she brings back old, forgotten characters to meta.
It doesnt matter what way i look at it, its a dub, no matter what.
She is stat hungry, thats true, but thats true for most character, unless you are satisfyed with mid performance.
I feel like you are just salty, you should relax and enjoy the game brother.
Fleuve is 32 CV. And since she has a lot of DMG%, having +32 DMG% is a thing but not that big of a deal.
There is so many teams without Kazuha or Venti, so anemo grouping ins’t enough of an argument.
Freeze is a CC so in fact, Furina can CC in certain teams.
I played Noelle/Furina and it’s strong. I don’t have Redhorn but my Noelle felt as powerful as if she had it.
Noone forces you to use MH, she just allows it. Domain is prett resine efficent, better than Crimson Witch for exemple. (Yes, strongbox exist, but you need something to fodder in first)
She doesn’t need Festering Desire to work, it’s just a better option if you have it. Copper Pipe is already great by itself and better for your ER management.
I played her in many teams with various DPS and she is by no mean tied to Fontaine characters.
Play her instead of spreading bullshit.
strictly tied*
-and Festering has the same ER as Fleuve with 32% DMG bonus, Fleuve ER passive is pointless when Furina dont have frontload particles. Festering just better than Fleuve everyway, even better than 5* options, her sig. If that not Albedo moment i dont know what it is.
-Example? I still see Kazuha everywhere on 1 side chamber tho.
-Not when Furina hydro application is shit, miss even 0,1s and Ayaka burst will push enemies away.
-You dont have Itto. Noelle even with Furina never match against Mono Geo Itto. So Furina brings Noelle and mid like Cyno ‘works’ is pointless when current dpses still better than them.
-fair
-1st line
-meme comps
conclusion: EQ Fontaine Male Bot, oh wait not even Fontaine chars! Lyney not work with her, Wrio also need Melt instead of Freeze, She even more niche like EQ C1 Neuvillette Bot (even Mona/Childe able sidegrades her in C1 neuv lmao)
– Being better than another option doesn’t mean that the other option is garbage. Albedo case is that he only have 3* HoD as other f2p option and it was nerf by corrosion. It’s not Furina’s case. And Furina can use HoD with OnField Kokomi.
– Hyperbloom teams, Rational, Ganyu Melt/BurnMelt, Itto, Nilou, Xiao, Wanderer, etc… Just think by yourself.
– I played this team several time and didn’t miss a single burst.
– My wife as him and I already played him, I know his power. I don’t expect a 4* to be better than a 5*. But at least, she is stronger and still fun to play. And she heals, Itto doesn’t.
– If every team that isn’t a top tiers meta team is a meme comp for you, it’s not my problem, neither Furina’s. I’m sorry for you, you don’t seems to enjoy the game a lot.
The reason she is a mess at C0, is because she has so many hoops to jump through to provide a buff equivalent to older characters who just press a button. Someone at Mihoyo is sniffing something that messes with their mind. At c1 though, she become usable and at C2 she is an absolute beast. If you ask me, Furina is mandatory at C2, otherwise just use the older characters we’ve been using since Ver 1 (how people accept this is beyond me).
In addition to what Alternatus said, Noelle, especially at c6, also works well. Noelle can be your DPS and also heal your whole team.
It helps to remember that you can change Furina from damage to heal mode by a normal charge attack.
I’ve been having trouble forming teams with her. she doesn’t fit into my less-healer centric teams. My teams either include shield (zhongli/diona) or kuki/Bennett.. in my case Only team she improves is national where furina replace xinqu. it’s quick swap with Bennett-c6, xiangling-c6, kazuha-1k-em, furina. I’ve seen xiangling ult vaping 70k+ and furina also vapes for 50ks at skill 1-8-8. in other teams putting a healer that can team heal( I have qiqi/jean )for the full buff, idk if it’s worth removing another support like kazuha/zhongli..
I suggest that if you have teams with Jean, you can make VV Hu Tao teams or if Yoimiya, VV vape team with her, but since you need IR, it will be Xingqiu in place of Yelan, and since he is a great battery, you can drop more ER on FUrina for more dps. Then there are a ton of mono hydro teams. Mono hydro with Kokomi driver, mono hydro with jean as driver, or mono hydro with Noelle Archaic petra as a driver.
You can make quickbloom Tighnari (Baizhu totally recommended), quickbloom Alhaitham, quickbloom Cyno being best, or quickbloom Raiden. There’s also Raiden taser hyper carry, or Raiden hyper carry with the VV shred on both elements. Mono geo Noelle or double geo Noelle also get hefty use with Furina.
Just pointing out that these raw healers create new teams since they didnt have solid teams to begin with, and Furina makes them solid teams. Otherwise, you can use a raw healer to make new variations of established teams. Alhaitham was only ever in hyperbloom or spread but not quickbloom. Tighnari was always a spread dps and preferred Zhongli over Baizhu, but Furina offsets whats lost. Jean’s previous teams such as Sunfire just got better with Furina since her off field dps is among the highest, and is the highest when vaped.
So, she doesn’t particularly improve many establshed teams, she does create sidegrades to increase team diversity, but upgrades teams that just use raw healers, or creates new teams that make raw healers so much more viable.
