Item Story
A spine that holds up the sky. The true companion of the Anemo Archon never wavered in its desire to protect the land of wind. This unshakeable resolve sustained the wind dragon through its mortal battle against its vile nemesis. In olden times, the shadow dragon Durin, covetous of the peace Mondstadt enjoyed, came forth to defile the land. Durin's black wings blotted out the sky, releasing clouds of toxic fumes, So much so that even the thousand winds could not hold their pestilence and rot at bay, And thus fell black rain from the skies, the din of their downpour drowning the cries and groans of the people. The Anemo Archon was awakened by the sound of their agony, and his heart was pierced by their despair. So he summoned Dvalin to his side, and shrouding themselves in storm, they pierced through the poisoned skies. The great dragon plunged in with a cry, tearing a swathe through the noxious nimbus the shadow dragon had created. Following his wings came a great, swift whirlwind that destroyed those venomous clouds. Dvalin seized the poisonous dragon in his mighty claws, ascending to heights that even clouds could not fathom. The poisonous rain had scattered as the clouds had been left behind, and the burning skies became the dragons' battleground. At last the wind dragon's razor fangs pierced his foe's throat, and his great claws tore out its corrupted heart. The sinners' creation, filled with eternal regret, fell from the spotless skies and fell to ruin upon a snowy peak. That fierce battle in the distant skies had thus defended the people of the Anemo Archon. But at the moment of his triumph, the venomous ichor of his foe had flowed between his teeth and into his guts. The pain withered bone and marrow, and in his agony the great wind dragon curled up in the depths of an ancient ruin. ...Nursing his wounds, Dvalin still believed that one day, he would be reawakened. He would again pierce the heavens, scatter the darkness, and sing to the sounds of the lyre of the Anemo Archon, his dear friend. |

Could this be useful on Xiao? I am rebuilding him with the Chasm artifact set since I’ll be pulling for Furina and Xiao’s HP drain might come in handy.
This is the only 5* spear I own – atm Xiao is using the blackcliff.

Who is this good on…
Polearms character I have or could get
-I have a better weapon on my Xiangliang (R5 Catch)
-I might pull Ei on her next rerun but then my sara is only c1… (I have a guaranteed with 20 pity)
-I could build Rosaria but I have no team for her. The only character that would be okay with her is Ayaka but she has more than enough CR%. I have seen people use Xiao with her but my Xiao has around 75/240 and I run Geo traveler with him making him 85/240. Soo… Nahh… I also don’t want to spend years farming so i can get CR% and ER% for her so she could work out.
-I can’t put this on Xiao (using Blackcliff) or Hu tao (using Homa)
-I could pull for Zhongli and put him with Xiao replace Diona (My shield + healer) with him so I can use Ayaka on other team with Diona if needed. I also have Ittos weapon (Not itto) and could pull Zhongli and Itto do geo mono team.
-I don’t need Candace or have any team to put her with. she is c1.
-I have better weapons for Yunjin (Starglitter pole or whatever it’s called)
-Yoayo and Thoma aren’t needed for anything and I don’t plan on building them.
My only options are to pull Ei or Zhongli.
Anyone have any recommendations on what I should do with this crappy weapon I have r3 of so I won’t feel bad about it sitting in my inventory.?
In fact, this is one of the best spear on Shenhe from those that are in the game – high base Atk for buff, ER for ult on CD, and on your R3 – 12% crit rate with passive ability.
I will be brutally honest. This weapon is outshined by 4 star weapons on every character in the entire game. I really tried to make it work on someone, anyone. But it’s just worse than Fav lance or Dragon’s Bane, or “The Catch”, or Crescent Pike, outright. What I did was, I levelled it to 90, and then fed it to my r3 White Tassel, and it went all the way to level 20. Made my account a little stronger that day.
