Item Story
It is said that water has no fixed color or form, and can either serve brilliantly as blade or bow. Out of all the substances in the world, water alone is the gentlest, and also the keenest. Among the many curious weapons of the world, this fine bow has the inscrutable ability to summon water. "It can envelop all that is impure, wash away all filth, while maintaining its own purity." "It can change into any form, imitate any life, capricious, yet never losing its true self." "Divided, it is as streams uncounted, close yet untangled. United, it is as a giant wave, inexorable and unstoppable." "Many secrets that no light may penetrate hide beneath the azure translucence." "This is the mystery of water, that even a thousand brilliant minds may fail to grasp its myriad shifts." Before she began working for the noble mistress of the Jade Chamber, she once heard an elderly senior expound on this teaching. Hidden reefs and storms ever stalk the world of mercantile schemes and plays for power, and the skeletons of ships dot the seabed. Those whose hearts brim with great ambition and sit on vast hoards of resources can often sail skillfully through in safety, Avoiding the ever-ubiquitous competition and malice, soaring through the turbulent currents. "That's what they say, but I lack the spirit that these big shots have, nor have I the patience for the necessary tedium." "I'd much prefer enjoying the ambiance and aroma of a roomful of tea, and remain fascinated by the infinite possibilities that stem from the throw of six-sided dice." "I have infiltrated many a crook's hiding place by night, and broke the schemes of enemies from faraway lands upon my knee." "But I did not do these things to help the powerful and mighty get rid of dissident forces, but because water, too, has its source." It is in defense of the purity of the source that water's gentleness can also become as blade and bow. Conspiracy and coded language are interwoven with ease under the pale blue full moon — this is the wisdom of water's shape. |

best weapon for furina
Got this bow 2 times while searching for the staff of homa a month ago. I almost feel annoyed.
I will pull this for my Dps Faruzan no matter what anyone says.
Let’s just hope Yelan get’s a re-run soon.
i just dont see how this is better on most characters than thundering pulse
The Crit Damage is higher, plus the passive is much easier to obtain and keep up than Thundering Pulse.
So how good weapon is this in general for what characters? if this is in Hutao banner i might roll for the weapon banner in paper the 20% more damage seem good
also would this bow work well with Ganyu
So this weapon is best in slot for Yelan, but due to the passive being quite generic, it can be used with many characters.
Such as: Fischl, Tartaglia, Ganyu, Yoimiya…
Since you asked for Ganyu specifically, the high crit dmg% goes exeptionally well with the Blizzard Strayer set if you run her in a freeze comp. Although in a melt dps build this weapon is also great.
Diona aswell cause her shield and healing scales off hp
Uh, no. Unless you’re building your Diona to deal damage, which in that case, you need to rethink your team building options…

Team building options are limitless. Granted, some options are more effective than others, but a DPS Diona is not impossible – especially with Shenhe in the team. There’s nothing wrong with just having fun, mixing things up, and enjoying your favorite characters sometimes.
This weapon just like Jade or Homa but it’s bow version. It can go universal both DPS and Sub-DPS can use this weapon 2nd if not best in slot for them.
Amos is better but its good enough if you dont have amos.
You truckerfunder Amos is not better than Aqua Simulacra for Ganyu. Aqua clearly wins out when there’s a Bennett burst on the field.
I did the math.
Assuming I have 100% Crit Rate, Amos still does more damage than Aqua for Ganyu. The lower is your crit (rate * dmg), the more Amos outperform Aqua.
Amos is better for Ganyu. I mean… you do get about 70ATK (more than Aqua), 50% ATK and 52% DMG. Due to the ATK, the critless dmg is so big : 10 * 1.6 will still be bigger than 5 * 2.4.
Build-less Ganyu (80) with 100% C.RATE + 200%C.DMG. Frostflake vs Celestial.
– No weapon : 3K, 1K
– Amos : 16,5K, 4K
– Aqua : 12K, 3,8K
Assuming there is Bennet… I fail to understand how Aqua would outperform.
assuming you have buildless 200% cdmg ganyu and arrow travel 0
5s, with less buildless cdmg and arrow travel time the more aqua outperform amos..
aight now explain how do you expect everyone ganyu to have buildless 200% cdmg and arrow always travel 0.5s?
To answer the other issue.
[aight now explain how do you expect everyone ganyu to have buildless 200% cdmg and arrow always travel 0.5s?]
You realize that it is an assumption? Because it’s simply mathematical. You should compute the numbers and see for your self. And the less Crit you are, the more relevant is Amos. Buildless reduces the number of variables to control in the calculus in order to only compare the weapon DMG.
[5s, with less buildless cdmg and arrow travel time the more aqua outperform amos..]
– Even the burst damage is better with Amos. In average, Amos would give more consistent dmg.
– 0s… Like, do you stick your Ganyu in the face of the enemies or do NA-focus? If you want do to NA-focus, just play Fischl or Yoimiya, they have better NA potential than Ganyu.
– Play Ganyu the way she should be played, and her weapon, the way it should be played.
Just do the math.
Little mistake.
Amos’ Celestial : 4,2K (I forgot to add the 12%).
Anyway, Amos does more damage for your Ganyu than Aqua. Just
Well, no actually. I was initially correct. Don’t add the 12% (only NA/CA buff).
