Description | A sheet of paper Venti found in a cargo crate within the wharf warehouse. A poem entitled "The Five Kasen's Splendor: Suikou" is written upon it. |
The Five Kasen's Splendor: Suikou Mine dwelling was far from the wider world, but for my fame my peace was disturbed. In blue-clad I went before Tenshukaku to present our work, but Aoi's work was missing a page. I knelt and begged for divine wrath to be stilled, and I told what I knew of how it was lost. The previous night I had been drunk, and then a person's shadow had passed over me. Some treacherous scoundrel must have stolen the poem, leading to my great loss of face. |

Description | A sheet of paper Xingqiu found beneath his luggage. Someone seems to have left it there while he was napping. A poem entitled "The Five Kasen's Splendor: Aoi no Okina" is written upon it. |
The Five Kasen's Splendor: Aoi no Okina Glorious court life was my youth, and my old age a moonlit haze. I had not wished to behave so treacherously, but my very life was threatened. So I sought out my old work, and hid it in my clothes. I do not understand the reason behind all that has happened, only that the mysterious person's motives must be perverse. This poem was dedicated to Akahito, who to my great sorrow was banished. |

Description | A sheet of paper that some mysterious person left behind. This person must have originally intended to leave it on Kazuha's person, only to be unexpectedly detected by the latter and forced to flee in a hurry, leaving the sheet behind. A poem entitled "The Five Kasen's Splendor: Akahito" is written upon it. |
The Five Kasen's Splendor: Akahito Long have I been famed, and since my youth I had great ambition. I stamped every new verse with a scarlet seal, and thus was I known to all. But last year when we presented our verses, mine was found to be taken from poets past. For the theft and deception, I was banished into the wilderness. The five radiant lights never shall be again — ah, how the tides do shift! |

Description | Ayaka found this on a flower stand at the festival venue. Once submerged in water, this sheet of paper reveals the full poetic text of "The Five Kasen's Splendor: Sumizome." |
The Five Kasen's Splendor: Sumizome Going over his poetry, I found that the plagiarized piece did not have his scarlet seal. I submerged the verses into clear water, and the truth did emerge. The true verses were not washed away, but the text of that despicable crime faded. Aoi no Okina passed me by, just as he was writing a verse for Akahito. One storm had yet to settle, and it was already time to write new poems... |
