Item Story
Legend has it that a hero who fell into the abyss left this strange bow behind, the body of which shines brightly like pearls and secret silver. The tint of the string is like the blackest seas or the lightless void, and it is as silent as empty vacuum. In the grand days of old, golems formed an army and fought against the dragons in the depths of the sea. The dragons, born of the sea, were a brutal race ruled by a King named Scylla, At that time, the Dragon King Scylla recruited a horde of barbarians and vishaps, driving them toward the threshold of the ancient nation, And the bow-wielding army moved forward to intercept and resist them, until the great Harmost sealed away Scylla's power... Afterwards, the once-glorious kingdom became nothing more than a bed of ruins scattered across the seafloor, But the remnants of the golem army continued fighting the descendants of the dragons in places the sunlight couldn't reach... The still deeps had never been perturbed by bloody battle, but its petrified heart gradually began to collapse. The last archer and the lone descendant of the dragon eventually reached a peace agreement. The endless clash of tooth and nail had grown vexing, And so sword and bow would no longer draw any gaze in the lightless abyss. The knights of the lost nation and the vishap warriors could not help but burst out laughing, Discarding their burdensome weapons, as if finally freed from a meaningless blood-feud... As for what later happened in the stillness beneath the ocean depths, it was interpreted and re-interpreted by countless operas, far into the future. Some say that both betrayed each of their homelands, and built new settlements for exiles... Like this ancient, magnificent bow, many stories eventually sink into the still, silent deeps, becoming naught but fanciful legends. "Savagery" at last had mastery over the former lands of the kingdom, and many stories and songs are now little more than harmless, fictional dramas... |

this is kinda meh just because stringless, rust and slingshot exist and give better bonus, but if you dont have any available then it may be a decent option, the only character that actually gets buff from this weap is maybe ganyu freeze, but i run that team with no healer so not really
It is most likely going to be good on Lyney if you do not have his signature or other 5* waiting for him.
Since he looses HP from CAs and regenerate from Skill.
It’s a pretty good bow for Childe because it full utilizes his entire kit. Rust only buffs NA and Stringless only focuses on his burst. This bow will be beneficial to both including his CA/Charged shots.
Similarly any other archer played on field with good Atk scaling skill/burst damage can use this over Stringless which uses EM.
but still slingshot exist, crit rate and buffing his normals and charged attacks might amount to more dmg, but yeah, he may be one of the few options to use this bow better than most of the alternatives
Fischls burst heals her right? so this works great on her. consistent general dmg up and potentially a boost to off field Oz if you do a party wide heal while he’s out.
huh this thing actually makes Mikas burst slightly relevant for yoimiya or other NA bow users.
but fischl needs to recast Oz so it can receive the boosts
do we actually know this? like, what is the priority of actions here, does she heal herself first or does she summon oz first? is there no consistent priority and would it be random if oz gets buffed? does overhealing even count? idk, i think there might be more factors to consider and test until we can get a proper answer on how useful this weapon/set of weapons could be
Fischl at C4 heals 20% of her HP once her burst duration ends. So to proc this effect, Fischl needs to use her burst, then after it expires (10s) she receives healing and weapon effect activates, now if you use her skill immediately after, Oz will be receive the buff.
you’re incorrect on something, fischl’s burst duration isn’t 10 secs, that’s oz’s, if you read her burst it says that after it ends oz will “remain on the field” a.k.a. oz is summoned, but still is elemental skill damage and duration, not burst, if you use a c4 fischl you’ll see it heals her the moment the burst summons oz, that’s why the priority of effects/actions would be something nice and important to know, if oz is summoned first then a recast is needed, if fischl is healed first then it’s not
To me the big questions with these “heal then buff” weapons are:
– Does the effect activate when eating food? Like if you use the NRE to heal?
– Also, no cooldown is mentioned, so could healers like Kuki or QiQi who can consistently keep heals going mean that the buff could be kept up indefinitely? If so, that could be very interesting.
As for NRE it probably activates but it ain’t that useful really, only maybe if you doing like co-op or some kind of solo/healerless showcase in the overworld, but with its low duration your character will probably become full and not able to eat anymore before the fight ends
As for the healers it probably works like that but since we don’t know if overhealing counts then characters like QiQi who heal too much might not benefit if it doesn’t since you’d need to also take constant damage to heal to keep the passive active
just in case anyone else comes here and reads this, fischl needs to recast oz for the buff to work after burst.
or you can just have a healer do it’s thing before her, and yes, overhealing counts to activate it.
No her burst does not heal her
it does after you get her c4
