Item Story
The splendid jadeite fell from the sky, washed by the ever-flowing cleansing waters. Freed from dark earth and rotten wood, every trace of residue removed. A primordial stone, chiseled and molded by the hands of mortal youth. Ultimately becoming a splendid jade instrument, awaiting a serendipitous moment to fulfill its sacred purpose... "It is just as I said," mused the researcher from the realm of rainforests over tea, "the arc of history bends towards decay and collapse." "The fall of humanity can only be prevented with the wisdom and mercy of the gods. Without these, humans will inevitably annihilate themselves." "Witness the silent testimony of the deserted ruins lying betwixt mountain and swamp. Witness the wild beasts in the hills, bereft of their powers of speech and spirit..." "The people of the past perished without a trace, and even their greatest kings and chiefs failed to make even a ripple." The people of Chenyu Vale did not always dwell there, but once called the crystal-veined mountains home. Life of family and tribe both revolved around the mines, and their settlements stretched from peak to peak. But the ancient sin lying buried beneath their feet and shovels was unknown to the mortals, hidden under the deepest shafts. Divine punishment is unforgiving, and cares not for the lives of mortals. After the catastrophe, their forebears were forced to bring their families northward. The elders of Qiaoying Village claim that the ancestors of the people of Chenyu Vale came from a chasm to the south. They brought with them a great jade altar, and left behind ancient, enigmatic ruins... When war among the gods brought tragedy, the ancestors of Chenyu Vale's people were reduced to wandering refugees. Their descendents once believed in a now-forgotten god, and all are now lost to history and consigned to dust. "An unsound theory," responded the consultant in the dark robes, "the history of mortals is one filled with rebirth." "Glory and ruin both spring from mortals themselves. Without agency, there is no rise or fall to speak of." "Ancient ruins lie forsaken, but their former inhabitants, buffeted by fate, live on to this day..." "The fading of their ancestors has given rise to the prosperity of today... even if they are now assimilated, one with the people of a new god." "Even if they are often helpless in matters great and small, they have not been destroyed by circumstance, but rather made their own choices." "As for the wisdom and laws of the gods, they are based on the consensus of mortals, and not personal whim." After a short while, the trivial debate over tea came to an inconclusive end. Such discussions between mortals and gods are wont to end in squabbling over this and that. But the Bishui River flows eternal, just as the luster of the sacred jade within remains as constant as its former master. |

Oh….so it’s just shit…I see
Liyue officially is home to the worst weapon in the game
Wrong. Still better than Kokomi’s donut – at least Jadefall’s Splendor is the best weapon for Baizhu, while kokomi’s donut loses 3* weapons on Kokomi.
Well, Donut at least can be used on Kokomi, Barbara and Baizhu, while Jadefall’s splendor is basically usable only by Baizhu.
While it is no way BiS, Jadefall’s splendor can still be used on both Kokomi and Barbara and even Tankfei with the elemental damage bonus.
Damn it’s kinda true, the golden majesty series (summit sharper, etc) are shits. Even the mondstadt millenial series is better
Honestly it would be decent if the passive was usable on more characters than just Baizhu.
It only looks so garbage because Baizhu looks so garbage.
This not true. see this list:
5* best liyue:
1. PJC
2. Homa
3. PJWS
4. Calamity
5. Aqua
5* worst:
1. this
2. MoD
3. Vortex
4. Unforged
5. SS
For example
Mondstadt best 5* wep:
1. Skyward series (4 item: sword, polearm, bow, catalys)
2. Melenial series (2 item: sword and bow)
3. WGS
4. LPSW
5. The widsith (this is ficking 7* potentail wep)
6. Amos
inadzuma
1. Mistsplitter and Enguilfing
2. Polar star
3. Kagura
other 4 items is shit.
Sumeru
1. SoSS
2. BoRS
other 4 items is shit.
This will work on TankFei. Using her ult will give the 12% elem bonus and the main attack value is decent. Her shield will be just that much stronger with the substat being hp.
April fools are over, so why are you making jokes? This thing will only give her buff for 3 seconds because she generates shield and bursts at the same time and only once, effectively giving ONLY HER 4.5 energy. And it only has 8% more bonus HP compared to Prototype Amber, which also gives 18 energy to your entire team. This weapon is only good on Baizhu and even then its questionable.
As ambiguously worded as the passive is, Prototype Amber’s energy gen is not team-wide, but only applies to the wearer. Still, 13.5 more energy on Tankfei is major, so I’m still with you on Proto Amber being the top choice whenever TTDS isn’t beneficial on her or the team’s energy gen is too low to even run it.
neither this weapon nor prototype amber provides energy for the whole team, what are you taliking about?
Is this good on Kokomi? I might get Baizhu since I am getting Kaveh mainly, so I am not sure if I’ll be using Baizhu enough. But if this is good for Kokomi, I might snag a chance to pull on the weapon banner too.
Short answer – No.
Longer answer – Kokomi would get the buff for at most 3 seconds, given she casts it only once and does not create any shield.
If you want to aim for healer 5* weapon, the Moonglow Donut would be much better fit for onfield Baizhu than this weapon is for Kokomi.
crystallize kokomi ?
Albedo: aight Imma head out
i believe that this weapon has more worth than everlasting moonglow if you’re playing elemental kokomi (EM, dendro related reactions). Everlasting moonglow is more of DPS/healer kokomi.
just save your primos. this is the worst signature weapon in geshin impact’s history. the only advantage compared to prototype amber (gacha free weapon which also easily reaches baizhu’s er and hp thresholds) is it buffs a little bit more damage but since he does no dmg who cares? apart from this the difference between r1 and r5 is hugh (3.66x as much). if you really want a 5* weapon for your kokomi to heal more -> deal more dmg with clam set or whatever get her signature weapon instead and give baizhu prototype amber. don’t reward mihoyo for bad weapon design.
so how can this be better than Prototype Amber? they are basically the same right? with one being free and the other cost like 80 pulls
i would even say r5 prototype is way better then r1 jade for either koko or baizhu
it’s like +8%HP and +4 energy , and +100% donuts existence in weapon banners
80 pulls ? lol
80 pulls is very optimistic. It can cost upwards of 200 if you actually set your path on it and get unlucky enough to require 2/2 fate points. And with Amos on the banner (assuming they don’t put Hunter’s Path with Ganyu for melt, instead), the few who pull for it will mostly be aiming for Jadefall. I mean, touching a weapon banner for the sake of a standard banner weapon is such a low value for your primos.
The latest change is quite… something, I still don’t get the odd direction they’re going with Baizhu and overall this weapon as a 5 star is kinda bad which looks even worse at R1, it’s passive works ONLY after casting burst, at least others give a general permanent buff, this one is so restrictive for how little it offers (even if it’s main purpose is energy).
They could’ve changed its stats to make it more distinct as a “very low base atk with higher secondary HP% stat” instead of “right in the middle” like the other 2 existing catalysts. Also with refinements, is the only one that more than triples a buff at R5 (12 > 44).
Some wishful thinking would be that they could’ve kept the Crit rate theme of the series and make the scaling Hp buff affect the whole party instead of singular dmg% by giving something around 12 to 24%(R5) crit rate which is more general/unique and still works for quicken reactions.
So affix scaling triples with refinement 5? That’s certainly. . . a choice.
Praise be!! a 5* weapon that triggers for Ningguang!!!
wasting a GOOD LOOKING weapon to be trash where ONLY 1 character can utilize.. no one else can make shield fast like baizhu.. also baizhu can use a BETTER 4star to support Dendro DPS with *****(secret). but then again.. like kokomi weapon this is utterly trash.
fucking shittoyo, you destroyed this weapons serie
primordial spear and jade cutter were just too good for you, it’s better to make another hp weapon isn’t it?
i was waiting for a 44% rate catalyst, because i don’t have any 5star ones, but no, another skip
and it looks so good
1000 times fk you
Its Almost like its a signature weapon for an upcoming HP scaling character or something lmfao
Yeah just keep on making excuses for the shitty business practices HYV does. Just because it’s (unfortunately) the norm for this game now it doesn’t makes it alright. But keep on defending the multi million dollar company.
meanwhile, it’s gonna refund my baizhu at least 71,5 energy so… yeah I’m happy with it.
Good luck with the protest tho
damn dude chill
