Item Story

A weapon favored by the Millelith of yore.
Made from a lith of the Guyun Stone Forest, said to be able to pierce even through dragon scales...
Its great weight prevents the Millelith of today from equipping it.

In ancient times, the Millelith would conduct themselves in Rex Lapis' name according to this axiom:
"While rock stays hard, the mountain shall never fail; while the Millelith stands guard, evil shall never prevail."
In the past, they went forth to subdue demons and protect the roads and the countryside.
In these peaceful times, their duties have shifted to maintaining order.

At a certain point in the past, the earth did shake, and the mountains did tremble.
Then, the Millelith gave out equipment left over from the ancient wars to those among them who were of unusually great stature.
These were the incredibly weighty Lithic Spears, and they were used as shoveling tools to rescue the injured.
"The Lithic Spear pierces through rock with ease."
"If a thousand such spears could be lined up in formation today, none could stand before them."

Yet in an even earlier era, when the world was in yet deeper turmoil,
Every soldier in the Millelith could wield these colossal weapons.
Thus were they able to protect Rex Lapis' kingdom and defend their homeland.
With a thousand Lithic Spears lined up in formation, no evil could prevail against them.

That won’t matter even when if your 3 co-op teammates use Liyue characters since in co-op among 4 players, each player’s party consists of one character only. So you won’t get this spear’s passive in co-op with 3 other players

I have a question. Would an R2 lithhic spear be better than an R2 deathmatch? Its for my Xiao and Im not completely sure.

Xiao, this weapon is actually ridiculously strong at high refinement and with 3-4 Liyue characters in party. With 4 Liyue characters in party and on R5, it provides %28 CR and %71.6 ATK on top of high base ATK. Even beats Homa and Primordial according to math. It’s busted.

So does BENNETT count as Liyue character?? Cuz my team going to be XIAO, ZHONGLI, NINGGUANG/XINYAN, BENNETT

the first 3 are confirmed liyue chars… but idk about bennett. if hes too then i can get full 4 stacks on Xiao…

This spear is so crazy… it can be one of the best weapons even including 5* at max refine… and definitely the best 4* spear…

AH PLEASE BE EASY TO GET!! I WANNA MAX REFINE U!

Bennett is not liyue character. you can check the profile tab on character menu to see where each character is from ( childe might or might not count).
By the way, it’s a weapon banner only and will not be featured in normal banner afterwards. so It’s likely R2 or R3 if you aim for 5 star weapon.

Childe is from Snezhnaya, so he will not count.

But he uses Mondstadt book for his skills. Maybe he would count for a Mondstadt passive.

I guess not, he’s affiliated in Liyue’s story quest and when you check character tab on genshin.mihoyo you’ll find him as Liyue Character

That is correct. Along with the best 4* base ATK and also a decent 27.6 ATK% substat, R5 with 4 Liyue characters for Xiao (although impractical team-comp wise since there’s no other Anemo Liyue) beats PJWS even at max stacks for DPS. Goes to show its power. https://keqingmains.com/xiao/#Weapons

Even R5 PJWS is not enough in comparison to this spear.

          • Reply

That is simply not true. The thing about PJWS is that it increases *DMG Dealt* at max stacks. True the Lithic Spear can go up to71.6% ATK% but it’s just one multiplier that’s multiplying off the Base ATK of the character. Different multiplier will yield better results at the end of the day. Besides, you were comparing R5 Lithic to R5 PJWS. That comparison Lithic just downright loses out in the end. R5 Jade Spear gives 42% ATK% and increases *DMG Dealt* by a whooping 24%.
For example, lets say your base attack is 500. For Lithic Spear, 1.716*500 = 858. For Jade Spear, (1.42*500)*1.24 = 880.4. The difference here might not be much but don’t forget, your artifacts also add ATK%, which means the end dmg with the Lithic Spear will be a lot further as compared to the Jade Spear. Now if you’re comparing R5 Lithic to R1 Jade Spear, that would be more comparable. In fact you might even argue that Lithic will win(as long as you have 4 Liyue chars)

            • Genkishi on 28 February 2021 at 8:53 pm

Element% from artifacts count as the same multiplier as DMG% effects so Jade Spear’s ability won’t even increase the final damage by 24% because diminishing returns, the real increase is something around 15%.

Can someone clarify. If i have 4 liyue characters would it give additional 44% atk and 28% crit rate at r5? That seems busted so id like to confirm if there is error in the translation

That’s correct. With ascension passive gives a total of %71.6 ATK and %28 CR. It’s even better than Homa and Primordial according to math.

Hmmm seems really decent for Hutao. A c6 xiangling might be a really good support for her, Qiqi or ganyu to proc melt, zhongli for shield and Decrease res. Hutao doesn’t seem to need a healer because of her ult, so for a Hutao focus team this spear favors me a lot.

A better team would be HuTao, Xingqiu, Zhongli, Ning/Xiangling C6.
Easy full stack on this weapon passive. She and XQ will be vaping. ZL shreds RES. She’d like the 15% DMG from either Geo res or XL. Pyro res or Bennet doesn’t do much for her. Ning would be a nice burst support for her downtime, and for shield break. Lastly you can manage her low hp much better with ZL shields and XQ swords.

Awful for HuTao, why would you want more ATK% when she already can scale a 400% buff using the E? Thats overkill, There are better options indeed

So dumb. Why they didn’t release this 4* spear at the beginning of 1.3 instead of later? I mean we have a 5* character banner right now that uses a freaking spear. it is dumb and makes no sense to release it much later. I really wanted this for Xiao but looks like I have to settle either Deathmatch/Blackcliff which is a long wait to get……

      • DannyC on 8 February 2021 at 4:11 pm
      • Reply

Because don’t design these banners to benefit us lol. These are designed to get your money, that’s it. If they put this spear in the current banner, that means anyone who didn’t get the Jade spear can settle for this one. No, they want you to roll on this banner, get screwed by RNG, and then have to roll on the next banner.

It is already confirmed as a gacha weapon, available on the next weapon banner along with Lithic Blade.

The 5* weapons are Staff of Homa and Wolf’s Gravestone, and the other 3*s are Sacrificial Bow/Fragments, and Lion’s Roar.

Lion’s Roar aside, this seems to be one of the most stacked weapon banners so far. I might actually go for a weapon banner for the first time if I still have a lot of gems after getting Hu Tao… Although I should probably wait until we have as much information as possible about 1.4 before making a decision.

Oh shoot I thought the claymore on the banner was Rainslasher, which would’ve sucked. Well this banner is a must-pull for me now. I’ll settle for Staff of Homa or Lithic Spear for Xiao. Current weapon banner is too much of a gamble. Already got R5 Rust and everything else besides spear is useless for me.
