Man her E makes no sense to me. As some have said, there is a possibility that her skill multiplier is for the entire skill, not each individual shot. The would mean that whether you hit 5 shots or 10 shots, the damage is still the same. That doesn’t exactly make sense though because why would they have scaling amounts of shots fired with each stack if the damage was still the same? That would technically mean that even having 1 stack means you do less damage per shot. If that were the case, then really you either want 0 stacks or 3 stacks…the others in between being useless. I don’t believe that mhy have these scaling stacks for them to be functionally useless.
That would lead to the other possibility which is that the damage multiplier is per shot that hits, not the total skill. That would mean at 11 shots, hitting 10 of them would be 500% x 10= 5000%. That would be a crazy high multiplier and absolutely ridiculous. On the other hand, that would give meaning to having different amounts of shots fired with each stack gained.
Anyone have some concrete proof which way the skill functions since mhy is absolute crap at writing skill descriptions?

The devastated Midtto mains are here in full coping mode. Trashing Fontaine stopped kamidsato, whottao, trashtaglia being powercreep? no. and spoiler: it never will. FONTAINE POWERCREEP is just that real. As it has been proven again and again consecutively, every Fontaine character just make their non-Fontaine counter parts look so mid. Mark my word, as usual, it wont be any different this time too. you can get the upgrades fontaine bring or, keep living in your unhealthy copium diet to cling on to those mediocre powercrept non-Fontaine characters.

Not to conflate myself with the likes of FONTAINE POWERCREEP but, how do you figure they have different roles? Obviously Itto has the tools to work with Gorou, and therefore mono-geo when Navia doesn’t, but they both look like geo main DPS’s to me, just that Navia could maybe work a shorter rotation better than Itto. I’m one of the 5 people that run geo often to the point different teams makes it worth it doing for me (liking Navia as a character aside), but they both very much seem like main DPS’s.

her multipliers and kit are Heidzo/Ningguang level, she has only advantage in terms of much higher ATK and bit more aoe
Ningguang’s multipliers over 12 seconds – 2xE (490%x2), 1500% ult, 630% CA after ult (7 star jades) = 3100%, which with Bennett and Zhongli translates into ~400k single target and ~100k aoe
Navia’s multipliers over 15-18 seconds – 2xE (1100% conditional) + 1500% ult = 3700%. She has +1k atk with signature and 38% more CDMG.. dont forget Ning has 24%+12% universal geo damage.. thus it is safe to say Navia will be roughly 1.5 times stronger then Ning lol…
You’re ignoring her basics which are about 820% per combo
Main DPS Navia would do something like Q E N4 E N4, or at least that would be an easy rotation
That’s about 9-10s of field time in which she gets:
1100% +820% + 1100% (should be possible to get 3 crystals with hold E) +820% +1500%
~5300% in about 12s field time (extra 2s or so from using Hold E) you can then start applying ally buffs again ready for the next rotation
On top of that she has higher base stats and a crit ascension
The only flaw I immediately spot is I don’t know how her skill works in multi target
Of course if any real theory crafters would like to say I’m wrong feel free, but as far as I see main dps Navia has pretty strong damage in reasonable rotation lengths (Maybe 18s-ish with Benny Zhong and 1 other)

erm… everybody already agreed that Navia is quickswap? and if you plan to count in those autos, you need to count Ning’s NA/CA as well. If you ever played Ning more or less consistently you know her NA can be speed up by animation cancelling and CA too if you are casting it with proper timing – which happens naturally with practice. In her usual rotation you’ll have 2NA+CA 2 times easily between support actions, for the same 770% for auto sequence. Ah and I forgot about that CA after ult also has it’s 300% core on top of star jades.
so full Ning’s carry (not quickswap) multipliers over 12-15 seconds are 2xE (490%x2), 1500% ult, 630+300% CA after ult (7 star jades)+2 NA (2×100%) + CA (300%+270%) +2 NA (2×100%) + CA (300%+270%) = 4940%.. versus Navia’s 1100+820+1100+820+1500 = 5400%
even energy generation is better for Ning – if you keep cd in mind, you are getting 7-8 particles every 12-15 seconds, while Navia 7-8 each 18.. and charges arent fully functional as you need to get stacks between them instead of default E-Q-E like all characters with charges do. And Ning has cheaper ult as well, allowing her to self-recharge with ease with minimal ER.
Navia kit needs tuning. Her ult should recover max stacks upon cast at the very least. It’s kinda stupid when Ning gets almost double CA ready instantly after ult, while Navia gets stacks with intervals.
It’s not about doomposting, any Ningguang main looking at Navia can easily say she needs rebalance, otherwise it is just clunkier Ning with 3k atk instead of 2k. And Ning while being “okay” before Inazuma in the moment of Emblem release was powercrept to hell instantly as all other 40 cost ult units..

Just wanted to say summon for the character you like, any kind of 4 star can beat the game easily if you play smart and yes I also mean the Spiral Abyss. I hate these Min max YouTube theory crafters with a passion. Forget the new artifact, BiS artifact for Navia is Archaic Petra. Her skill will absorb the surounding crystal, thus trigger Petra team buff.
Doesn’t Petra give a dmg bonus for the non geo element part of the crystallise though?
Navia is fully built for big damage so no point decreasing it for a dmg buff to one element, especially if you use another geo member (who petra can’t buff)
Archaic gives 35% DMG bonus for the NON-Geo Element used in Crystallization

Since Navia is upposed to be DPS, Archaic only gives her the 15% Geo DMG vom 2p Effect, while Nighttime gives her 18% ATK and 40% GeoDMG almost full time if you got C1
