When a character in the party obtains an Elemental Shard created from the Crystallize reaction, Navia will gain 1 Crystal Shrapnel stack. Navia can have up to 6 stacks of Crystal Shrapnel at once. Each time Crystal Shrapnel gain is triggered, the duration of the Crystal Shrapnel stacks you already have will be reset. When she fires, Navia will consume all Crystal Shrapnel stacks and open her elegant yet lethal Gunbrella, firing multiple Rosula Shardshots that can penetrate opponents, dealing When 0/1/2/3 or more stacks of Crystal Shrapnel are consumed, 5/7/9/11 Rosula Shardshots will be fired respectively. The more Rosula Shardshots that strike a single opponent, the greater the DMG dealt to them. When all 11 Rosula Shardshots strike, 200% of the original amount of DMG is dealt. In addition, when more than 3 stacks of Crystal Shrapnel are consumed, every stack consumed beyond those 3 will increase the DMG dealt by this Gunbrella attack by an additional 15%. Enter Aiming Mode, continually collecting nearby Elemental Shards created by Crystallize reactions. When released, fire Rosula Shardshots with the same effect as when the skill is Tapped. Character Details | Fontaine's laws are very strict, but its people are quite free-spirited. Fontainian society contains all manner of social organizations, clubs, or factions, all of which have their own origins, development, goals, and style. For example, the short-lived Hat Jellyfish Association ostensibly promoted the protection of the waters and those living within, but was in truth founded by a band of explosives enthusiasts. By comparison, the Spina di Rosula are a law-abiding, reliable lot, their overly rambunctious young President notwithstanding. In official statements, the Spina proclaims itself to be a citizen-oriented society that involves many walks of life and focuses its efforts on solving difficult issues amongst the common folk, and that it will cooperate with the Fontainian authorities where needed. If you ask Navia, she'd tell you that the Spina serves as a business partner with all sorts of people in it, that will help with any problem, using the velvet glove or the iron fist as appropriate. Neither of these descriptions are mistaken, at least in broad strokes, so you may choose the one you prefer — though it is worth noting that those who choose the latter wording will find it easier to make friends with Navia. |
Character Story 1 | In Fontaine, to say that you grew up watching the theater is no different from claiming that you were raised drinking water: Simply so ordinary that it barely bears mentioning. So it was with Navia. So enamored was she with the scenes on stage that as a little girl she would pester her father to buy her tickets so that she could experience each part of the tale alongside the characters. These feelings would take on a different note after she became involved in the affairs of the Spina di Rosula. The staged conflicts seemed fewer than the twists and turns at the negotiating table, and she could see the cosmetic scars imagined by makeup artists permanently carved into the bodies of those dwelling in the Fleuve Cendre. Gradually, her visits to the opera house became less and less frequent, and she instead spent more and more time on those around her. Tragedy onstage was captivating, of course, but Navia did not wish for such tales of misfortune to befall real people. How might one mediate between separated lovers mired in the battlefields of differing perspectives? How might one in middle age robbed of their ability to work by an accident find a new way to be the breadwinner? The world is filled with problems of this sort, and while they bring little profit when resolved, unlike the core businesses that sustain the Spina, Navia throws herself into solving them. And if anyone should accuse her of being a busybody, she will counter thusly. "Such presumption, to call such matters trivial," she'd say, using lofty language to stymie the other party's reply. "This is called 'a stitch in time saving nine.' And wouldn't you agree that we're doing the Palais Mermonia a favor by preventing someone from being hauled up onstage at the opera house?" At such times, Navia will not identify herself as the Demoiselle, President, or any fancy title, but as simply as Navia, an enthusiastically civic-minded citizen. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 2 |
Character Story 2 | Navia, presently the one helping people out of trouble, used to be the one getting into it as a child. President Callas, busy as he was, had to rely on Spina di Rosula members to take care of her, which was no mean feat when their charge could disappear in the blink of an eye. After much searching, they would at most find the barest hint of a fancy hat's rim visible on some rooftop... only for them to find naught but the hat itself upon finally climbing up. The hat's owner would at that time already be playing somewhere on Mont Automnequi. Her curiosity was so intense that she could easily enjoy and entertain herself even without any companions. Give her a pond, and she could stare at it the whole day, watching birds flapping about as they bathed in the shallows and otters rising from the bottom to do the backstroke. Just this alone could bring her great joy for quite some time, and she would give gifts in gratitude for those who brought her such happiness — millet for the birds to eat, and shells for the otters to play with. Sometimes, she would also seek out playmates. The children of Fleuve Cendre owned no toys for the most part, so she would play hide-and-seek with them, dragging her silk skirts with her through the pipes. Win or lose, she would always gain a little extra compared to the other kids. She would emerge from her hiding place brandishing a component or two she found in some nook or cranny, a few lost Mora, or a fifty-percent new portable toolbox, and bask in the admiration of her companions. Though she would often run off on her own, most of the adults were exceptionally tolerant of her behavior (her father being the exception). Spina members would help bandage her bruised knees, and the women of the Fleuve Cendre would help mend her torn clothes. Navia would think, Ah, I am loved by so many, and such thoughts would make her happier still. At one point, Navia heard an elderly lady next door say gossipingly thusly with others: "...That girl only has her father, and he's got no time to accompany her... Poor girl, always having to roam outside by herself..." Such words made Navia unhappy for a while. She thought herself quite fortunate. Her father loved her lots, and the adults and children around her also liked her. So why would someone regard her as one to be pitied? Perhaps, Navia thought, it was a matter of unclear communication leading to confusion. In which case, that wouldn't do, not at all. From then on, whenever little Navia felt loved, she would loudly declare: "Thanks for liking me so much. That makes me very happy!" * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 3 |
Character Story 3 | Navia's original intention behind combining a gun with an umbrella was quite simple: she just didn't want to carry too much around, as this would affect her ability to conduct other business. It rains often in Fontaine, and the rain gives way to merciless sun, so umbrellas are a must when going outdoors. And it would not do for the Demoiselle of the Spina to go without a gun, for surely none would think it an ornament in her hands. Her sharpshooting skills are born of much practice, with her principle being that any stance will do so long as you hit your shots — even propping your barrel atop a Blubberbeast is fine. Clorinde, trained in the art of Marechaussee Hunter marksmanship, tends to shake her head at this, even as words of affirmation tumble out of her mouth. "I find your optimism regarding battle is quite admirable." Navia takes that as praise. She met Clorinde when she was a (self-proclaimed) big girl of something over ten years, and is thus quite used to the latter's mannerisms. Yes, those are accurate words of praise, indeed! Optimism is indeed a rare psychological quality not to be undervalued. Many are those who intentionally seek to cultivate such a characteristic, yet prove unable to smile amidst life's struggles, while Navia appears to have been born with this ability. To her, there are only two types of trouble in this world: The solvable, and the unsolvable. Immediate action is the panacea to problems that can be eliminated, and as for those problems beyond one's power to change, then change yourself and learn acceptance. Apart from optimism, Navia finds tolerance to be a value that brings real improvement to one's quality of life, and it is a virtue that extends to the Spina. Why, look at all the varied business ventures, and the people of all sorts — indeed, even a Tent Tortoise calls the place home! It is said that this creature was a friend of Callas's named Consigliere, roughly meaning "Counselor." Navia has also taken counsel with it in the past, finding it patient, quiet, and long-lived — just the sort of person you'd confide in. One day, Charlotte happened upon Navia babbling away to Consigliere, and out came her Kamera. The next thing anyone knew, many would come to speak to the Tent Tortoise on the picture's account. Navia herself would seek it out less from then on. "Others should have a chance to chat with Monsieur Consigliere too," she would say with a straight face. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 4 |
Character Story 4 | This world was probably full of contradictions from the beginning. Take Navia's father Callas for example. If the Spina di Rosula was more influential, a lot of things could get done more easily, but Callas stubbornly refused to accept the honorary title that the Palais Mermonia sought to grant him after the completion of the aquabus lines. Again, Callas would never intentionally hide what the Spina did from his daughter, and would speak to her of all manner of business techniques, even personally or engaging others to teach her how to use weapons, as well as bringing her to the negotiating table, as if intending to groom her to be his successor. But at the same time, he never spoke of the cause of her mother's death, nor would he ever share his feelings with her. For a time, Navia was even confused as to whether she and her father were close or distant. Later, Navia slowly came up with a theory: That her father may have treated her so to protect her. He let her learn and build up wisdom in the hopes that she would become independent and be able to survive the crushing stresses of life. As for why he would not speak of his own pressures or pain, or even Clementine's death, it was most likely to spare his daughter sorrow or unnecessary guilt. And so he remained silent, never having a heart-to-heart with his own daughter, no matter how much he missed his wife. As for his rejection of the title, this was possibly because he felt that Spina di Rosula would often be working with the common folk and a title like "Duke Callas" might create the perception of a difference in status between them, causing the Spina in turn to lose the trust of the people. Still, all of these are just Navia's own conclusions. This is another area where Navia found herself conflicted. She was in all things valiant, and in business straightforward, but she never did seek her father out to confirm her conjectures. —Did you make those choices to protect me, Papa? Did you underestimate my ability to sort out my feelings, even though you trusted me? She never spoke these thoughts aloud to her father. After all, she thought, they had time. Could she not wait until her stubborn old man stopped being so closed off, or until she had found better footing of her own, for them to have that conversation? It was time that would answer her question, and teach her that which her father could not. Some things in life are like that, leaving only time for on-the-spot learning and no time for preparation, just as she would go on to organize her own memos after Melus's departure. Well, everyone makes mistakes at first, right? But don't worry — Navia's a fast learner. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 5 |
Character Story 5 | Fontaine is the Nation of Hydro, and thus, from time immemorial, many tales about water have been flowing through it, such as the belief that the rain that falls is the Hydro Dragon Sovereign's tears and that the Great Terrestrial Lake holds the emotions of humanity... The former is regarded as a ditty meant to pacify unruly children, while the latter is regarded by most to be unprovable, but as the matter of the "prophecy" progressed, people gradually turned to it for emotional sustenance. As Fontaine's post-disaster reconstruction work steadily progressed, Navia found that more and more people began to stay a while and tarry by the water, especially around Poisson. After her accession as President, Navia was never one for slowing down or taking breaks. But once, when she was walking by the waterfront, she glimpsed her reflection in the surface and was suddenly struck by the desire to stop and stare, just as she had gazed at ponds when she was little. She stooped down and scooped up some water, and watched as it drained away through the gaps between her fingers, till there was but a little left in her palm. Navia felt little from the water cupped in her hand, remembering only the traces of blood washed out by the rain, and the clothes left behind when the waters had retreated. She had always been one to see the bright side of things, and did not wish for her sorrow to spread to her companions, and so she seldom cried. But thus did the unshed tears swollen with the river of the years at last find their outlet. Those tears were blown dry by the wind, and did not fall into the waters, but Navia believed that they would not fade with time. Her tears were utterly insignificant, but a drop in the ocean, but just as all other waters in this world, they would evaporate, condense, and fall as light rain, and with the wetness of each rainy season that came, they would meet again. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 6 |
The Right Time | When Navia no longer needed to tiptoe to touch the shelf tops, Callas gave her a notebook. The book contained no dates and had no format, and even contained some text without punctuation — and was written by her mother, Clementine. While it was initially a welcome surprise, frustration and gloom took root in her heart as she read on. The short essays began from the time Clementine went with Callas to visit the Fountain of Lucine. It seemed that from the moment they became intent on having a child, her mother would often think about her. In the golden sunflowers, she would see her child's hair, and in the bright lakes, her child's eyes. She wrote down every last one of these hopes and blessings: May our child brim with beautiful virtues, try the many adventures and lovely cuisines the world has to offer, and experience all manner of joy and happiness. This was not the first time Navia had read things her mother had written, but this instance certainly made her the happiest and angriest all at once. Why had her father only chosen to give this to her now!? But her fury was not to last. She soon finished reading all the thin book had to offer, and its ending was one of devastating simplicity. "Though I have written much about our child, I suppose these are, in the end, just my own wishes." For some reason — their connection by blood, perhaps — Navia immediately understood the meaning of those words. Her mother had not wished for these hopes become a burden upon her growing child, and thus, her father had given this book into her keeping only after she had already grown into an adult by following her own path. That day, Navia, did something quite rare, and did not go out, instead spending a long time in her room. Equally rare, also, was her acknowledgment of her father's arbitrary exercise of authority in this case. Perhaps her mother had once intended to give her this notebook herself, once she was grown... when the time was right. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 4 |
Vision | At a birthday party many years ago, Navia took her favorite tabletop game out. Perhaps it was because this was also her coming of age, but the participants playing that day were especially numerous. Amid this lively atmosphere, everyone — apart from the birthday girl, the star of the show — racked their brains coming up with characters exceedingly ill-suited to themselves. Melus, the steady hand, became the rash and careless commissioner, inviting all present to solve — or suffer under, more like — the ancient curse afflicting his family. Sonny, ever elegant in speech and etiquette, would play a potty-mouthed petty thief, even making the grand sacrifice of shedding his pale outer coat, which usually stuck to him like a second skin. The nervous rookie, Silver, having been dragged into this by dint of passing by, was made a mighty, mysterious mage. The most lethal blow came when Clorinde, who usually took charge of proceedings, decided to "band together" with the famed adventurer known as "Demoiselle" as a private doctor who missed every shot she fired. Someone had to do the healing, she reasoned — but alas, this left the role of game master open, with Callas unfortunate enough to be the only one left to fill that post. Thus was he forced to put his soft drink aside, and leave the audience stands (the bench) for the crowd of players (the sofa). Navia was most pleased with this start. The game, however, got off to a bumpy beginning, with the strange commissioner bursting his way into Demoiselle's residence during her birthday party, only to misjudge and crash head first into a triple-layered cake, nearly drowning himself in dessert and ending the millennia-spanning family curse by his own hand within the first five minutes. Demoiselle would quickly get the good-hearted doctor to save the man, with the doctor musing if letting him live on was tantamount to helping their enemies as she rolled the dice. The game master's expression did not change as he went faithfully about his duty in a low voice: "The young man, having braved the rain, was soaked to the bone, and both his hands were set a-trembling." "He did his best to clean the cream off his face and body, though he missed a few spots." "'Thank you, kind souls, thank you, for joining in my battle against this curse most wicked!'" They were unusually lucky during the middle portion of the game. To solve a problem, one must investigate its source. According to the mage's hypothesis, the commissioner's ancestor must have made a contract with a demon for some reason. "Ah, if I had only rolled higher, we would already know that reason..." grumbled the mage. "Bloody signed a high-interest contract without a care for his descendants, didn't 'e, the blithering idiot?" The thief blurted out. "Well then, can we steal the document and destroy it?" Demoiselle asked offhandedly. The inexperienced game master would regret allowing their actions for all time, for the thief's luck was truly ludicrous. "...Demoiselle was clever indeed, and the thief just as profoundly skilled." "No one thought that the contract would fall into their hands so easily, and yet the words written upon it were nigh indecipherable..." The ending, too, was unusually happy. Thanks to the hardworking and kind (and also sufficiently rusty) game master, Demoiselle would finally drag the rest of the party, riddled as they were with status effects, into a confrontation with the ancient demon. The battle was as chaotic as ever, with the mage losing his sanity first, and the doctor not landing a single shot. But just as everyone's hit points were about to bottom out, the adventurer Demoiselle would hazard a venture. Using up a turn to move beside the demon, and tanking a full round of its attacks head-on, she knowingly gave the doctor a desperate order, as everything was going to hell: "Shoot me instead!" The doctor's dice were rolled before the game master could say anything. Callas counted the dice in silence, before taking three deep breaths. "...The bullet pierces the demon's weak spot, and the giant creature collapses into the abyss." "It returns to the darkness, and into slumber, taking that absurd curse with it." "Rejoice, rejoice, for the adventurer's courage and for her ill-omened ally!" Perhaps it was to go with the President's flow or out of genuine emotion, but there was indeed much rejoicing. Amidst the din, only Callas, who had begun to sort out the various items used for play, was stunned. He retrieved a golden-yellow jewel from within the dice box. "Navia... I think this is yours." There were many people present, but this Vision did indeed belong to Navia, for it was with a flash of her thought that a great blade of Geo would slice her birthday cake in two... along with the table. Later at night, when the party and her excitement both had settled down, Navia would lie on her bed, unable to remember what she had been thinking when she had obtained the Vision. Had her mind lingered on the final victory, obtained only after much struggle and hardship? Or had she wished that her birthdays henceforth would be spent surrounded by friends, just like this one? If it was the former, that seemed to obliquely indicate that a happy ending must be preceded by many tribulations... so best to go with the latter. Thus were her thoughts as she lay at dreamland's door, still clutching the Vision. * Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 6 |
967 responses to “Navia”
I can’t tell if 99% of this is due to people’s fear of her ending up like Dehya, Or the idea that for some reason the playerbase sprouted this idea that navia would singlehandedly save geo as an element.
From my point of view, Nobody here is acting much better than the other. Navia looks relatively fine. she’s nothing spectacular but I also don’t see how she’s dehya tier either.
if anyone wants to explain what the issue is that would be helpful.
I think the issue is that some people think that if a character is not performing as well the top dps, supports or whatever, then they are not a character worth pulling for. They chalk it up to the character being “mid”. I think the flaw in this reasoning is that not every character can or will be meta defining or even on par with characters that are. The way I see it is that if every character was as strong as or stronger than a previous character, then people would complain about powercreep or even repetitive gameplay. If they aren’t, then some people don’t see any value in pulling for the character and want Mhy to buff them, hence the people that say people let mhy get away with mid characters. I understand the frustration with one of your favorite characters being not as strong as you would like, looking at you Dehya, but there will always be more characters to like and play. It’s not the end of the world if they aren’t the best character in the game.
I also think that the vast majority of players don’t care if Navia is doing top tier damage or not. She is functionally sound and will do decent damage. I think that is good enough. At least she is not as underperforming as Dehya is, and even she got better with Furina. Lastt thing I have to say is that there is some merit in characters that try new ways of dealing damage or buffs or heals/shields. Is Ayato a good character? yes. Is Ayato played a lot? I would say no. Time will tell if this applies Navia as well.
Spot on.
It’s hard to satisfy everyone, it’s truly a spiral of mockery comment sections in every single leaked character page.
You’re spitting facts here my friend.
I think it is quite telling that none of the people screaming doom and gloom have bothered to respond. Not one person, troll or not, has tried to refute my arguments. I can only assume that either these people agree with me deep down or know that their arguments don’t hold any water when talking about the current state of the game or community. I would truly like to know what a “mid” character even is in this game considering any character 4* or 5*, from Amber and Dehya to Ayaka or Neuvillette, can clear the abyss with 36*. What more can people reasonably expect when that content is the pinnacle of genshin difficulty? Why does even character need to be as strong as the strongest character. I remember when Ganyu was the strongest dps and nobody thought they would make a dps as strong as her. Now she hardly breaks the top 5. Does that make her mid now?
Ayaka isn’t really OP. You guys are still living in 2.x lmao
She may not be op like Neuvillette is but she is one of the best dps currently and one of most widely played I reckon. And sure Alhaitham is strong in his own right too, just to prove I’m not stuck in 2.x lol. I just don’t personally play him. The point was asking why asking people make such an uproar about a character that might not be quite as strong as the top dps. Will Navia clear the abyss? yes. Will she be fun to play? that’s for you to decide. And for those that might be wondering, I do own a c4 Dehya. I’m still searching for good artifacts for her and I do plan on building Furina and testing them out together. I just play who I like to play and how I like to play them. It doesn’t bother me if it takes them 10 sec longer to clear their side of the abyss.
I’m honestly rather relieved to see sane individuals here. i was getting rather concerned they didn’t exist…
Either way, I think having a geo unit that actually works with the reaction specific to their element is ultimately a good thing. Sure it doesn’t entirely fix crystalize’s problem. but it does give it an actual use. (unless you wanna count gorou)
I’m really curious if navia hyperbloom might be a possibility, Not because it’s the most viable or optimal team to build, but because it sounds rather fun to me.
Personally what I think would be cool would be for some kind of explosion or pulse effect to added to crystallize. Since geo is inert, maybe the pulse damage does geo damage and whatever element is absorbed. and maybe if the shield breaks, it explodes for more damage. I know that would functionally similar to anemo, but that would actually create some synergies with anemo. just think you have geo with Archaic Petra so you swirl an element for the res. shred and then crystallize it for the damage bonus. and it’s keeps applying the element like anemo will which could lead to more consistent reactions. I don’t know about everyone else, but that sounds kinda fun to me.
I keep stating my opinion but the shitty moderators here keep deleting my comments yet allow the low effort trolls to make comments. The hypocrisy here is laughable. That’s what happens when you have no life asides from managing a shitty site. Anyways, I’m going to state my reason again before this gets deleted. It’s just a vocal minority of the community that operates on a single braincell. They can’t even make their own judgements and parrot the words of some “TC”

Simps deserve no more than mid since they are happy as long as they get to play their thing. “Game is eezi, we need diversity” – they would say, the very definition of copium. mihoyo have adopted good strategy now. make lol! and dudes broken who might have had less sales and give the simps good story, flashy looks instead with mediocre kit & dmg. Those simps would throw their everything anyway, why give them dmg when mihoyo can sell the lol! and dudes again for the numbers
Exactly my take on this now. Until these idiots stop accepting this crap, they deserve everything they get. ‘Game iz eezee’ ‘muh unit diversity’ criers all crutch one of the meta to carry their mid tier characters through the eezee world and then act like this is both a good thing for the game and that their character is better than they actually are. I wonder, when will we get a dedicated Pyro buffer? (Who will need Bennett anyway) Or when will we get another good off-field Pyro? (Who won’t have Xianglings dmg and worse ICD’s.) They want unit diversity, until it comes into contest with the meta and then they cry about power-creep.
🤝🤝🤝🤝
If male char superiority, so why did they made Rizzly so low compared to Neuvillette ?
good point. since neuvillete is a lady who is simped by all he should have been under dude wriothesley, damn i’m proven wrong right away
What are you talking about ? I talk about all male chars not being this superior…
Neuvillette has an Archon treatment but at his DPS level instead of support capacity (for usual Archons). They made him too strong imo.
Lyney and Rizzly are strong but not gamebreaking. So argument like “niah niah waifu mid and men OP because of simps” is dumb.
Excuse me, you really need to seek help.
exactly, I am seeking help for everyone🤣 but mihoyo aint helping😂 as long as there are these many simps ready to gobble up any trash food that has their wifu’s face drawn on it.
where did you get your’s last time?
I didn’t realize Neuvillette was a female… lmao..
What are you talking about ? I talk about all male chars not being this superior…
Because Neuv is the hydro dragon? And why you compare a male with another male? TCers say given the same team, Wrio would have better numbers than the current Navia
1. …also gotta sell good
2. in some places on earth you can just identify as anything 😂 who knows about Fontaine and neuvillete/ they found their Fontaine waifu that they’re looking for, don’t offend.
3. 🤝🤝🤝
I compared two male chars because some says Male Supremacy. Are some others male chars don’t get the same treatment as other male chars. There is no point to compare the power in a gender level. There is strong women (like HuTao, Ayaka, Yelan) and strong men (like AlHaitham, Neuvillette, Kazuha). That’s all.
I don’t talk about Archons because Archons are meant to be great anyway.
I’m not convinced. Sovereigns was only mentionned before and the only one we met (Apoop) isn’t even playable. If “Hydro Dragon” justifies the power, why “Coffin seller” is this strong ? Or “Feeble Scholar” ?
If “Hydro Dragon” justifies the power, so we will wait all others elemental Sovereign and wait for them to solo abyss with shitton of DPS in their element. Why Meta slave will pull other characters ? Mihoyo would kill themselves. We already are waiting for the Archon every new country.
Given the same team => Rizzly with a Geo char ? =O Or slapping all the best support (Furina/Bennett) to get the highest dmg per screenshot ? (real question)
Here have a trophy.
People who said male superiority are either girls, kids or gays.
they dislikes their opposing gender, and will lead to human extinction.
Imagine chasing dmg numbers in genshin lol. You forgot its just a waifu collector.
Exactly that’s the very thing a simp says.
Game is eezi
sure thing. we will be ok with characters that can only walk and run. even more diversity. Bennett xiangling xinqu can carry any dead weight. if it can be carried we can say it is not bad😔
What is the point in evaluating a character solo when you are meant to have them on a team? Moreover, every top tier dps, minus Neuvi and maybe one or two others, aren’t doing anything without good supports. Is Hu Tao doing anything without XQ? Is Ayaka doing much without Shenhe? Is Itto doing much without Gorou? The point is that practically every dps is pretty mid without good supports behind them. Even Xiangling isn’t doing impressive damage without a good Hydro applier. And don’t even get me started about Kazuha and Furina. My point is that there aren’t very many dps’s that are good without supports and Navia is no different. Supports make every character better than they actually are. It’s how the game works.
Despite saying no Toxicity, their words bear no weight, and only exists to satisfy their desire
One can assume he’s only trolling the comments section in a more creative ways (a different approach from Floptaine and Fontaine Powercreep)
nobody mid, not even dehya or amber or… alright? because everyone can be carried in a team with some op supports and subdps.
facts.
That’s the point. Every character is carried by supports, op or otherwise. Raiden ain’t hitting 500k damage without Bennet and c6 sara. Ayaka ain’t hitting anything without an anemo and hydro to freeze. Ayato and Yoimiya aren’t hitting nearly as hard without a NA buffer and Vapes. Hell even Furina is a lot less useful without a party healer like Jean or Barbara. Does that make them bad characters when none of these characters can 36* abyss solo? Yes every dps is pretty mid if you don’t factor in the supports that buff them to the levels of success that they enjoy. Using op supports is just a natural part of the game and to say otherwise is just ignorant and foolish. I will say that the variety of supports is pretty lacking and I would like to see other options that bennet, XL, XQ, and Kazuha. Furina is an interesting addition to the mix and I would like to see more. Any way you slice it, supports tend to be 4* characters and inevitably get compared to Bennet and the like. I think we need more 5* supports like Kazuha and Furina and Zhongli. There are over 20 5* characters that can function as a main dps in your team. There certainly aren’t 20 5* supports to choose from.
LISTEN TO ME I AM TRYING TO HELP YOU, do not wait for her new set,
go ahead and start farming Archaic Petra RIGHT NOW! Crystallize shields are
paper thin, soon as the shield breaks the buffs is over on her new set.
at least with Archaic Petra you are guaranteed a 10s buff no matter if it breaks or not.
don’t forget about me because i help you
Archaic petra is probably one of the most underrated sets, pple should be farming for.
Given Navia’s kit to generate a lot of crystalize shards and also having an effective way to collect shards using her gunbrella.
Her teams will most certainly have at least 1 type of elemental sub-dps. This will definitely provide a powerful utility to her teams.
Of course, the set is less useful if you’re already running an archaic petra Zhongli with her.
Thus, the question on who benefits most from the new set, Nighttime whispers. The only chara who really needs it is Ninguang, so she could have reasonable dmg to compensate her poor base atk.
You guys cant really read descriptions or just trolling? lmao. Archaic petra does NOT buff GEO dmg, its boosting OTHER elements by 30%
Genshit, you either lack experience or don’t understand the value of support buffs. Most double geo comps are running other elements hydro/pyro/electro/Cryo. Only mono-geo comps are running husk to boost personal dmg (Albedo/Gorou/Itto). This leaves Zhongli/Ninguang/Yunjin to run Archaic petra. Zhongli himself might be more suited to running TOM. Thus, this set has been slept on because of limited Geo chara. Navia seems to pair with this set pretty well.
Yunjin wants husk for her buff… Not even going to both with Ningguang lmao. Why take a low tier GEO when I can just slot Bennett or Kaz into those teams for better buffs and a lot more versatility? See the problem yet?
You’re gonna run Benny-Kazuha on every single team? I guess people have preferences. Personally not a fan of circle impact.
Hey Ass laugher, read the KQM notes on Yunjin.
Providing a large Elemental DMG Bonus% for your team makes this set have high potential for some teams (higher than Husk in all team comps). Performing Yun Jin’s Skill -> Burst combo allows her to pick up the Crystallized shard semi-consistently:
Crystallizing the correct Elemental Shard may be challenging in certain rotations, especially in reaction teams.
Sometimes Yun Jin may not collect the Shard immediately. Dashing to collect a Shard can be difficult depending on enemy size and other factors, which costs field time and may result in either a DPS loss from the extra time spent or a DPS loss from just not being able to pick up the Shard at all.
Once you acknowledge these caveats and can account for them when using Archaic Petra, you will see high returns in team comps that can utilize the buff.
REAL TRUTH => Problem is that Husk is universal while Archaic Petra is sometimes harder to use.
Let’s talk about NA users.
Yoimiya : It does great work in mono pyro/hyper team (Kazuha/Yunyun/Bennett) but most of the time, she is played in vape teams and Crystallizing pyro become harder. Ennemies will be marked by hydro aura most of the time, maybe EQ with Bennett can clean tho aura fast enough. But Furina non stop hydro app, Yelan 2U or XQ orbitals will make it more challenging
Rizzly : In Freeze teams, it varies depending on the team comp.
You usually start with hydro (XQ, Yelan or Furina because longer uptime on their aptitudes) and depending on you healer, Jean doesn’t help and Mika doesn’t apply enough cryo for Yunjin to crystallize Cryo.
Best option are Charlotte who can do the trick thanks to her frontload app, or starting with a NA with Rizzly then Q with Kazuha before using Hydro unit then coming back to E between Yunjin and Rizzly.
In Melt/Burn Melt teams, crystallizing Cryo will be a challenge.
Noelle/Ningguang/Physical Zhongli : They doesn’t benefit AP lol.
Ayato : The one who benefit it the most thanks to his burst. When Ayato is played with Yunjin, it’s most of the time hyper team with Bennett and Kazuha so hydro aura is easy to crystallize.
AP is tempting but since I play Yunjin in various teams, I personally prefer Husk for flexibility. =)
My Yunjin is running husk, but I have enough sets of AP to swap around. In fact, many old players have them since the time of Liyue. The main point isn’t to nitpick about which set to use on Yunjin, but rather the use of Archaic petra in general. Currently only Zhongli/Ninguang/Yunjin can utilise the set and potentially Navia. I’m supporting the OP stance on having AP. Not strictly farming for it, but recycling those artifacts using the strongbox.
if someone is planning to run Navia as main dps, not a support for other element’s dps, then Archaic petra is useless, unless for some sub dps boosting. But this set is not better for Navia than the bis one
Navia is designed to be a sub-dps and her kit is contrarian to Itto/Noelle, which require long field time. She can run as a main dps in high rotation quick swap teams as a driver, but in teams with a dedicated main dps, there are much better options.
AHEMM.. I mean rise of the double GEO.
you’ll make poor ppl start to farm for useless set with your trolling
You realise the effect of the new set lingers for a moment when you lose the shields right?
Or i can just use Marachaussee and Furina. 1/2 of her dmg comes from normal / charge attack after all so it’s not that big of a problem to lose 50% geo on the new one while gaining 36% crit which makes her skill 100% crit all the time with the new Claymore. The diff is not that huge anyway, prob 1-3%, but you can have that covered with good subtat on Marachaussee.
You saved my life. How could i ever repay
How about a treating me to starbucks?
I understand your point but personally I won’t.
AP is to boost the teammates or I want Navia to be boosted by the teammates and be the main DMG dealer.
Plus, the new set as a 1s duration after loosing the crystalize shield. When you hold E then release, or press E just after picking a crystal, you can’t miss the 4p effect even if the shield break instantly.
Plus, just Navia herself (Burst + skill + NAs), you make a bunch of crystal so you have at the very least 6-7s duration of the 4p effect, then you add the shards created by other mates and if fact, you are pretty fine.
What could be fun is a full EM Geo char who will create better crystals (with passive that boost crystal shielding potential x2 or more). With a good ICD on an offfield skill. So we can use TotM too.
It can situationaly work, especially with same element shield as the opponents. Zajef did Ninienne with full EM Ningguang and he took absolutely no dmg. I tested this challenge with Full EM Noelle, so with Yunjin + Gorou + Bennett, I could still do dmg while being invincible just thanks to crystallize shields.
Doesn’t work with Vivianne tho, Vivianne hits too hard with her melee attack.
Totally agree, in the end, this is the preference on how pple wish to use Navia. She is flexible enough to be both a main-dps and a sub-dps in many teams.
For example, if you’re running her with Neuvillette, as a side-grade to Zhongli, AP will definitely edge out better.
Otherwise, as a main-dps, she can go for the new set Nighttime whispers to boost her personal dmg further.
Regarding EM Crystalize Geo (used by Zajef), it can be comfy/fun option. But the trade off is lower team dmg, and a lot of pple here disagree with anything that is non-meta.
this is like goin scara full em, a waste
pick any 4* geo and go AP instead of Navia and save your primos
Interesting but I think AP has it’s caveats which makes the newer sets preferable
Somebody posted this, so I’ll share on the main post.
Now for the real information peeps are looking out for (according to leaks):
1) Navia generates 4 particles per E skill and her skill has 2 charges. Thus, this brings her close to a C1 Yelan’s snappy playstyle of EEQ.
2) According to the above information (2 skills of 4 particles), this means her ER requirements is 160% in a solo Geo comp.
3) She is Independent to run without another GEO! But only with her C2 constellation or 100% uptime on her burst.
4) Atk scaling -> Not clearly stated, but a known leaker displayed 3k Atk power in the stats.
5) Confirmed that her burst fires 16 Airstrikes! 17 including the initial blast.
I would not be wondered if they throw her on the standard banner sometime after the limited ends. Although I think that every time there is a fontaine character because they all belong to floptaine. Geo, claymore, fontaine this time…sigh…she most likely wouldn’t even be on par with other flops. Her power level is pretty much the same as the standard characters, arguably inferior to some. there are no geo standard character as of now and still no fontaine standard character. So she seems like a good contender.
EZ skip yet again. Just hold on to your primogems until floptaine comes to an end.
//it was meant to be an independent thread. wth
Good luck pulling when Natlan comes, Mr. floptaine.
fun fact: there are multiple floptaines
so, thanks on behalf of all of us, I’m sure we’ll get good luck, if Natlan isn’t another flop that is, just like Midnazuma and ZzZumeru were, although we really don’t need that much luck since there’s too many patches with easy skips, personally I got too many primos to spend on anyone lmfao
If the whole game is a flop since Inazuma, you sure are rich in primogems =3 How much do you have rn ? =3 Can you share a bit with poeple who are actually enjoying the game ? =3
If several other Floptaine dudes are as rich as you, your clan will make people happy =3
some enjoy game, some don’t then there are legends who barely plays the thing but goes through all comments in random wiki site instead and put their nose in everything thinking they are saving humanity🤢. or i might be wrong, they could have so much free time at hand that they can play the game also after their free vigilant social services😔
The floptaine guy is so easily triggered lmao. Just let them feel special mate
funny how you say “your clan” as if we were organized, but no, we don’t need to, even if the first one didn’t came back or all of us left, there will always be someone else to take the spot
you might kill the man, but you can’t kill the idea
Floptaine dudes are saving primos to make a killing later with potential buyers.
See you in Natlan mr. floptaine
complaint complaint
After the buffs to her signature artifact set Nighttime Whispers and and to her Elemental Skill it seems to me that Navia will easily be the 2nd strongest Geo character in the game (only behind the Geo Archon himself).
Now I can’t conclusively say that Navia is better than Itto strictly as Geo Main DPS. However I can say that the biggest thing she has over Itto is better team flexibility (Itto practically requires both Gorou and Albedo to be viable) while Navia can use a variety of teammates on her teams. Navia can also be used as a Sub-DPS with Archaic Petra (although with the exception of Neuvillette I think most other on-fielders would prefer another character to fill that role).
The only thing that is really holding back Navia is her Geo element. Any other element and she probably would be one of the best main DPS characters in the game.
All Hoyoverse needs to do is have a Geo-centric abyss and then pple will start regretting not building Geo chara. It had happened once in Inazuma and a real torture to some.
What is geo centric abyss???!!! I see NOTHING in tyvat against which geo has advantage over others. do you mean inazuman rock shielded mitachurl/lawachurl???!! those thing will make pple regret????!!!!!!!
Well, there was a Golden Wolflord in abyss. I think this boss is the only one against which geo has advantage. It’s hard to break Rifthound skulls without Geo, but not impossible ofc
Don’t talk about it.. That enormous giant flying wolf was a traumatic nightmare!
Not just do you need Geo, there’s the stupid corrosion to top it off.
how can it force people to build geo units lmfao!!?? it at most forces to bring a geo bot could be built/unbuilt. I guess still nothing there to make one regret not building geo
I forced it once with Yoi+XQ+Fischl but I can tell it’s not funny, I needed XQ to get max particles twice (Sac Sword) for him to be able to burst on the ground phase.
Yunjin was my best friend <3
And then came Nilou <3
itto don’t needs no one to be op ur itto probably useless AF.
A lot of people were so sure that she was going to be an hp and em scaler that would fix geo and that the powersaw claymore was gonna be for her.
They’ve all been real quiet since her leaks dropped.
Oh but don’t worry, because surely the Chev Ruse is a support for Clorinde because obviously she is.
I’m sure many more thought she was going to be a DEF scaler.
The best are the people who expect her to be the savior for geo lol
At this rate she’s probably just a geo Diluc kekw
Honestly, if Hoyo doesnt try to make Geo characters a meta ones, there’s obviously a reason. Most likely they are adding a character, that will buff Geo characters, this is why they dont want to make Navia too strong, so she doesn’t get buffed way too much. Same goes to Itto. And it also explains why they are trying not to add any geo characters rn. Also, it may be not a character what will buff Geo, but a whole element, that will have a reactions with Geo. There’s not just 7 elements, there’s lots more. They are definitely adding a Time element or smth like that
Now this is coping at a dangerous level. People’ve been saying those words for years whenever there’s an upcoming geo unit that “They’ll release a buff unit that makes geo great again SOON”. But all we have is a 4-star dog boy and geo is still mediocre.
What they want is a geo Bennett, especially with Furina needing a healer. That’s basically what they are saying and they are sniffing something serious if they think that is ever going to happen.
Khaenri’ah Quantum or Imaginary element?
this!! I see a lot of people crying for waifu but for me it’s not about the waifu.
For me it is a question that GEO does not have a fucking high level DPS, the fuckng wanderer C2 is better than itto C6 for continuous speed run just because he has faruzan C6, I have itto C6, not to mention the fuckng neuvilette a HIDRO DPS the element that most needed a high level DPS because it was such an abandoned element!! poor hydro!!
It’s sad yesterday I saw the TGS calculations and it turns out that the best navia comp calculated in C0 is with neuvilette, she being sub dps and neuvilette transporting her ass.
Man, I can’t take this shit anymore.
I see mihoyo bootlickers are still around lol. Guess you guys are not learning anything from Dehya huh. Now that mihoyo have learned how easy it was to get away with zero effort because you dumbass simps, I can see mihoyo going forward can just put the best kits and numbers to the male characters so they can sell, but not for the waifus because you simps would immediately throw away your hard earned primos thanks to your neuron activation just from barely visible bobs and thighs and some tearjerking background story and immediately would go “yass my queen I’ll get her c6 becoz SHE DESERVES EVERYTHING fuk meta slaves ez game btw” while also slap archons and Bennett and Xingqui on her team to make it decent lmao. I can see Clorinde, pelican mom, and Arlechino will be mid but mihoyo know it will be fine because you simps are gonna pull them anyway lol.
Imagine being so bad at Genshin you can’t even fathom getting decent damage without broken units or constellations. Game is literally designed for casuals, if you struggle to clear without a crutch, it’s on you.
if you okay with Navia being mid then you just proved his point. Hoyoverse will keep cooking female characters with mild kits, while the male characters will get all the goods so they can sell.
I hate to say this but I’m afraid he predicted correctly. Currently the leak for Cloud Retainer is not good. :/
hah see what I mean? lmao. Chlorinde and Arlechino will also be mid, best is probably at Diluc level lol. congratulations simps you did this to yourself lol.
Nah, I just don’t trust the opinion of a guy who looks at the roster of female characters and seriously thinks they’re unworkable compared to the male characters. It’s like Hoyoverse released Neuvillette and suddenly people lost their minds thinking the female units are getting shafted. (Cyno, Scara, Lyney, and Wriosthley are hardly breaking the meta, compared to Nahida and Furina, which doesn’t matter I guess)
I’ll give him that Dehya’s kit was botched, but nothing we know about the sales proved that waifu baiting for cons or weapon worked in Hoyoverse’s favor. (Do people seriously think Dehya’s banner sold well comparatively? Where are people getting that idea?) It all just reeks of paranoia and poor game understanding. Navia’s kit might end up mid but I’ll see it myself rather than listen to some schizo consipiracy theorist.
There is no reliable data set but there are approximations according to sensortower.
In the month of Dehya’s banner for mobile, Mihoyo earned 48m.
For strict comparisons, Neuvilette scored 39m and the rest of Fontaine’s male characters scored less than 35m.
Shock, horror. To the surprise of absolutely no-one, the new Anemo waifu isn’t going to be as strong as Kazuha. Why are people still surprised? They made him so laughably OP because no-one would ever remember he existed beyond ruining every quest he’s part of. (Where are the anti power-creepers in regards to him hmm?)
You are not wrong, the worst thing is that it ended up affecting the geo and after 2 years, now geo wanters we have to wait who knows how long for geo T0 dps.
In fact, the best DPS in the game were Raiden ayaka hutao, and recently Nuveliette was added.
The best dps subs in the game to date Nahida Raiden Yelan Xiangling and Xq, the best supports Bennett zhongli kokomi nahida kazuha furina.
You must really be a dumbass simp(leton) who thinks it has everything figured out but hasn’t understood anything. go and get your parents to buy you a McDonald’s sandwich, it’s better
Hutao? No way. She is even weaker than bennett as a DPS lol
When you say raiden don’t forget the c2. It seems odd when you put an A tiered dps together with the SSS tiered one’s otherwice
why you say something we already know lmao. Seems english is not your strong suit so let me make it simple for you. Your. future. waifus. will. ALWAYS. be. MID. because. you. people. keep. defending. mihoyo.
Ayaka is massively overrated and the others need constellations to actually compete with other teams. Also, there’s other good DPS options. The 2.x era wad over ages ago
I agree. Those three units are hilariously overrated.
This guy is probably griefing that he got Dehya on the limited banner.
mad cuz bad lol
You are not totally wrong😅😅😅
funny you say this when the geo archon scales differently from his element and the anemo archon got usage powercrept by another anemo male.
so far, all the female archons are just better than the male archons.
so if Hoyo could get away with selling mid waifus, then wtf is with the unbalanced ratio of waifus to males in the archon category? ya think the last 2 archons gonna be HI3rd expys thus we just have 2 to 5 on a ratio of male to female archons?
I dont think it’s as clear as that. the experimental characters, basically playing into future impact, are carried by the weight of their relevance in story. Yae played a main role in Inazuman archon quests, Dehya played a big role in the Sumeru archon quests, and Clorinde did as well. they pretty much all hold the same weight on their influence on the archon quests.
And I don’t consider Navia mid. Navia is pretty fine. she’s basically on the same level as Scaramouche, except she doesn’t collapse on getting hit by a rock or potion. and her power level would be justified on Hoyo’s end if we get another geo support. you know what geo is really missing right now? an off field healer. It can’t catch a ride on the trend Furina had set, except Noelle is the only geo to receive a boon from Furina. we also have 2 more artifact sets left after 4.3’s, so I figure we may get a geo set morr relevant to crystallize than 4.3’s, like how Flowers of Paradise were more catered toward hyoerbloom and burgeon.
1.mihoyo must make archons strong because they cannot afford another Zhongli incident. 2.unbalanced waifus to males because WAIFUS ARE EASIER TO SELL REGARDLESS OF THEIR KITS thanks to you simps lol. 3.EXACTLY MY POINT BRO mihoyo tailormade waifus stories to be so good so they can sell those waifus with mid kits because again the simps be like “SHE DESERVES EVERYTHING UWU” lmao another ez money for mihoyo. 4.Scara is an old relic of the past before Dehya banner. now that mihoyo realized they can get away selling waifus with mid kits, nothing will hold them back. All futures waifus will be Diluc level guaranteed.
Stop spreading misinformation ffs
Half of the things you just said are wrong
Is spreading misinformation and lies all you can do
Cool story. This doesn’t really contribute anything
Navia will bring out the gunlance of monster hunter series and BANG!
Idk personally I always thought it looked like wyvern ammo but I’m not complaining either way.
yep
