Sooo… Potential users besides Arle… Anyone who can use the fontaine craftable sword or Catalyst or pole arm characters if you get Arle’s sig wep. but who would be GOOD with said set up? tho generally your gonna wanna team whoever it is with a HoT style healer. Also another question; the set says when “A” BoL is increased/reduced, does that mean any party members BoL effect or just a BoL on the wearer?
Saw Yanfei mentioned, which I can see.
Kayea has a built in small heal on his skill which is what would trigger the swords BoL effect, just wonder if the heal takes place b4 or after the BoL is setup.
Hydro traveller technically has synergy since their skill can generate those healing droplets which could be used to fulfill the BoL in stages after skill cast but…its the traveler.
Xingqiu has waaaaay to long of a skill cd for the required set up.
Maybe Wanderer+mika for the na triggered heals?
Lynette’s self heal on her skill is unfortunately too big, it’d auto fulfill the BoL in one go only giving one stack…or does gaining the BoL in the first place get you a stack and then full clearing it in one go gets you a second stack?… I think Wriothesly would have the same problem either way.
You could sorta do Ningguang at c2 since you could force her skill to be available every 10s to re-up the BoL via breaking her screen with her burst. external healer required of course.
From my testing Kaeya gets BoL then the heal.
BoL is applied when you press skill, heal is applied after skill animation if it hits an enemy, so he can use that pretty well. Problem is his other options, how would this compare to something like emblem + amenoma? Considering his ascension stat is ER, emblem has somewhat of an advantage just from that.
This also means Lynette is cooked, same order should apply.

So, currently there know 4 way to get Bond of Life effect:
1. Arlecchino to herself
2. Crimson Moon’s Semblance (Arlecchino’s signature polearm) to the wielder
3. Finale of the Deep (Fontaine craftable sword) to the wielder
4. Flowing Purity (Fontaine craftable catalyst) to the wielder
My gut is telling me that in the near future, we may see support that revolves around the BoL effect.
There is also a fifth way of getting BoL:
5. A special attack of Wind Operative or Frost Operative will apply the BoL effect to the attacked character
why hoyoverse make the only artifact that only be useable by one character unfittingly ugly for the character

So, considering Father gives herself 40% dmg boost plus the 54% from this set, would it be better an ATK% goblet? She also has a hig base atk (and will probaby get a very high attack stat), so maybe the regular DMG bonus goblet is still better?
Depends on your substats, weapon, and what ATK and/or DMG buffs you’re getting from your team setup
If I was a whale (or was writing this from the future) and was running her with her signature weapon, Yelan, and Kazuha, she’d be swimming in so much DMG% that anything but an ATK goblet would be gimping her.
If I was running her with Benny/Chevreuse and a lucky pull PJW, obviously DMG goblet.
I hope it will be usable on more than just Arleccino, it is so much stats if you can keep it. Fucking dirty.
fontaine craftable sword and catalyst give bond of life, healing that in small ticks should trigger this artifact.
and maybe some future character has a skill to give bond of life to party
it seems like it can but only if you use BoL weapons such as Arle spear or 2 of the fontaine f2p weapons “Finale of the deep” Sword and “Flowing Purity” Catalyst. since these 3 weapons are the only reliable sources of gaining BoL
problem with that is that there’s few characters who’d benefit, but yeah, it’s an option.
off the top of my head I’m thinking this could be Yanfei’s new best set if you use the weapon, but for most other characters they seem to have better options
