Salon SolitaireSalon Solitaire
Invites the guests of the Salon Solitaire to come forth and aid in Furina's performance. Will summon either the Salon Members or the Singer of Many Waters based on Furina's current Arkhe alignment.

Ousia
Foaming bubbles like celebrants shall dance, dealing AoE Hydro DMG based on Furina's Max HP and summoning 3 Salon Members: the Ball Octopus-shaped Gentilhomme Usher, the Bubbly Seahorse-shaped Surintendante Chevalmarin, and the Armored Crab-shaped Mademoiselle Crabaletta.
They will attack nearby opponents at intervals, prioritizing the target of the active character, dealing Hydro DMG based on Max HP.
When they attack, if character(s) with more than 50% HP are nearby, the Members will increase their current attack's power based on the number of such characters, and consume said characters' HP. If 1/2/3/4 (or more) characters meet these requirements, the Members' attacks will deal 110%/120%/130%/140% of their original DMG.

Pneuma
Summons the Singer of Many Waters, who will heal nearby active character(s) based on Max HP at intervals.

The Salon Members and Singer of Many Waters share a duration, and when Furina uses her Charged Attack to change the guest type, the new guests will inherit the remaining duration.
While the Salon Members or the Singer of Many Waters is on the field, Furina can move on the water's surface.

A fixed roster of regulars frequent Furina's Salon Solitaire. At other times, Mademoiselle Crabaletta, Surintendante Chevalmarin, and Gentilhomme Usher shall visit, and on gloomy Wednesdays, it is the singer who comes by.

Let the People RejoiceLet the People Rejoice
Rouses the impulse to revel, creating a stage of foam that will deal AoE Hydro DMG based on Furina's Max HP and cause nearby party members to enter the Universal Revelry state: During this time, when nearby party members' HP increases or decreases, 1 Fanfare point will be granted to Furina for each percentage point of their Max HP by which their HP changes.
At the same time, Furina will increase the DMG dealt by and Incoming Healing Bonus of all nearby party members based on the amount of Fanfare she has.
When the duration ends, Furina's Fanfare points will be cleared.

Character DetailsIt is unlikely that travelers from other nations will understand why the god of this land is regarded as a "superstar" unless they set foot in the Opera Epiclese.
Whether at performances or trials, she will always be in the seat reserved for her above the audience, laughing, scolding, falling into hysterics, to the point where more often than not she makes a stronger impression than the action onstage.
People buy tickets to indulge in new sensory experiences, and in this regard, Furina is by far more popular than the absolute justice that Neuvillette represents.
The forms respect can take are not limited to just lifting one's eyes up to a being above, and the unique form of respect Fontainians have for Furina is perhaps described better as "affection and fondness."
She is not perfect, and may not even be very powerful, but while onstage, she is the personage the people trust the most, for she never disappoints.
Among Fontainian literary circles, there is a popular saying that Furina is a memory of spring never-fading, present in the hearts of all. And who does not wish for an eternal spring?
Spring is transient, but she is ever there — follow the stage lights, and you shall see her.
Character Story 1As the icon of the Opera Epiclese, Furina has the right to speak freely during all stages of a trial.
Most of her questions are born from her curiosity and often have tenuous logical connections with the case at best, which at times can provoke raucous bursts of laughter from the audience.
But just as one might begin to suspect that Furina is just there for laughs and gags, and lacks even the capability to grasp the case in its entirety, she throws out opinions worth their weight in gold.
Of course, there are also times when she will express little interest in the whole process due to having earlier eaten snacks ill to her liking or missed some parade, but it is said that audience members lucky enough to be there are still pleased with this, as a god who speaks in anger is equally enchanting.
There is but one circumstance in which she will not appear to act quite so willfully, and that is when she takes the stage as an actress in a musical.
Fontaine has a great many musical theater classics passed down from antiquity that are, from time to time, performed at the Opera Epiclese, with key roles being played by the most popular actors of the day.
Before such productions are put on, there is a phase during preparations that resembles nothing so much as a lucky draw, where the troupe will send Furina an invitation. Should the mood strike her, she will agree to appear, resulting in a stage shared by a god and humans.
Once Furina has agreed to participate, the performance date for that show becomes a Fontainian festival in its own right, so popular that the Opera Epiclese couldn't possibly meet the fervent demand even if they sold nothing but standing tickets and were filled to capacity.
And when the music sounds and a god takes the stage, the audience will see not their lovable deity, who does as she pleases, but the character in the script.
Whether majestic or valiant, conniving or covetous, Furina is a dab hand at playing them all, perfect down to the last gesture, as if she were born to act.
And it is because of her record of wondrous performances that she very much deserves to be called "superstar" by her people.
Even a famous reporter from The Steambird who had barely squeaked their way backstage was completely awestruck, such that it was a long while before they remembered the interview questions in their notebook.
"Lady Furina, might I ask how you were able to attain such great mastery acting as an Archon, though no one has ever seen you practice?"
Furina's reply was proud, albeit uncharacteristically simple. "Why, because I am a god. Next question!"
* Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 2
Character Story 2Cases and performances take up a great deal of Furina's time, and even without these two things, she still shows up for all kinds of social activities and dinner parties related to government business and diplomacy.
Of course, social engagement is usually the limit of her remit, while the real behind-the-scenes work, and sometimes even certain important speeches made during these interactions, are handled by others.
Furina is quite thankful for these proxies, for she has heard that her life of leisure is a rare privilege in a world where most other gods have an endless parade of duties large and small to attend to.
She once considered that it might be right to set a... godly example, so to speak, and so she attempted to take part in the Palais Mermonia's day-to-day work when she had an excessive amount of free time on her hands...
However, her offers were respectfully yet consistently declined by both humans and Melusines, who insisted that "there are no great duties at present that need to be handed over to our god."
Though these words did make her glad, of course, after a few attempts she quickly realized how impractical it would be to use the work of the Palais Mermonia to escape her boredom.
Furina actually has another hobby, known to very few, and that is playing with little animals.
Fontaine's waterscapes are vast and beautiful, as well as blessed with innumerable adorable creatures. For one who always finds herself interacting with humans like Furina, this serves as an excellent change of pace.
However, animal habits are inconsistent and unpredictable, and Furina's carefree attitude always seems to rub them the wrong way. As in the "if she's not being blasted in the face by Hat Jellyfish, then she's being pursued to the ends of the ocean by Hunter's Rays" kind of wrong way.
It can be argued that the underwater world is more primitive and wild than the surface world, considering how little respect the animals here give a god on account of her status alone.
Nonetheless, Furina did eventually discover the animal for her ministrations — the sunbathing, beach-loving, horizontal alignment-enjoying Blubberbeasts.
Cheek squeezes, belly rubs, and even flipping them over, then over again, gets at most a turn of the head and noiseless protest.
"Hmm? You like it? Hehe, so do I!"
A few mild miscommunications aside, they have since become the best of friends.
* Unlocks at Friendship Lv. 3
Character Story 3Although Furina does tend to give people the impression of one prone to wandering thoughts and only tangential concern for the rules, she does have strict standards — in certain circumstances, anyway, especially before or after performances.
Everything must be to her satisfaction, be it the make or color of the props, the timing of the brightening and dimming of the lighting, or the pace and rhythm of the music.
As such, sharing the stage with a god is not some shortcut to glory, but one paved with blood, sweat, and tears, to the point where even the stories of a hard-to-please superstar prima donna fond of shows and with theatrical swagger to spare has reached even the lowliest street stalls.
Indeed, there was once a famous troupe that won the chance to perform with her, and pretended to agree to her exacting demands, only to default to methods they were more accustomed to during real rehearsals and performance prep.
The troupe director was confident in this method, believing that given Furina's personality, she would be most willing to back down on said demands if she were appropriately flattered and saw that everything was already complete and thus too late to change — a most excellent way to save effort and trouble.
But when the director began moving their props to the Opera Epiclese, he found Furina there, directing another troupe as they set up the stage rigging.
"Why, hello. You didn't seem interested in my opinions, so I arranged to perform with a different troupe."
The director was stunned. He had planned for Furina to discover the "flaws" in her view only after setup was complete.
But he could already tell that the stage sections that had been constructed precisely in accordance with her directions were significantly superior. Ordinary audience members couldn't necessarily tell, of course, but to professionals, the difference was always in the details, and these were obvious at a glance.
Still, this director was unwilling to simply turn back, criticizing Furina for not adhering to the spirit of contractual obligation by not informing them beforehand of her contingency arrangements.
Furina would not let this villain cast the first stone, instead scrunching her face into an expression of disbelief.
"You don't really think I'm that much of a gullible fool, do you? Guards! Send them on their way."

Character Story 4Round and round the interminable performance went, the day of the curtain call ever beyond reach, but so long as the prophecy loomed, the tale of this god must go on.
Though Fontainians found no real reason to doubt Furina over the years, she knew that the collapse of trust could begin with a single crack. No matter how small, once it appeared, it would be irreversible.
And the consequences of being exposed would be to reduce all her long years of work to dust, to allow Fontaine to fall — that was unconscionable!
So she did her best to laugh loudly when she should be glad, and weep bitterly when she should grieve, and display the divine bearing of an Archon when it was time to show off, all without fail, all without rest.
She knew that this was a performance. If she could endure until the danger had passed, she could finally take off her mask and regain the freedom to express her feelings.
Yet, she slowly began to realize that the godly role she was playing was eating into her.
A horrifying doubt began to creep up on her — how should she react when glad, if not to laugh loudly?
Perhaps she was once a girl who did not much enjoy laughter. Perhaps she had once been the sort to give up on herself at the first sign of difficulty, but such emotions had already slipped away, bit by bit.
Those in the performance arts often say that one must become a character to play them.
From that perspective, Furina's performance as the Hydro Archon has been flawless. Her painstaking perseverance produced the perfect product.
But no one has ever spoken of what might transpire once the last light had dimmed, for to them, the stage is fleeting.
For one such as Furina, who has acted for far too long, even the path back offstage has faded into dust, buried by the sands of time.

Character Story 5The crisis of original sin was resolved, and Fontaine came under a new order. The affected areas were gradually rebuilt, and the people held high hopes for the future.
Furina was the only one with no place in this new world. She was quick to pack her bags and leave the Palais Mermonia, nor did she return to the Opera Epiclese.
She simply wanted to leave the memories that brought her so much pain as far behind as possible, and she was uninterested in the debates surrounding her — the Hydro Archon's tale was over, as it should be.
But where should an actress who had finished her part and fulfilled her duty go? None could say, and the concept of "freedom" rang hollow.
Furina's luggage remained piled up in her new rental apartment, and she lacked all will even to tidy up or get moved in. All she could do was lie in bed and stare at the bare ceiling.
Those she knew had very quickly found their place in the new order. Whether due to their strength, duties, or friendships, their importance made them irreplaceable.
In circumstances such as these, didn't "free" simply mean being someone who no one needed?
Just as she had reached this conclusion, her new residence received its first guest — Clorinde the Champion Duelist.
The duelist was shocked at Furina's living conditions, quickly expressing her willingness to pay for better accommodations, a notion Furina expended no small amount of effort disabusing her of. Despite this, she was dragged, however reluctantly, into at least properly unpacking and tidying up the room.
Clorinde then explained that she was here to invite Furina to a gathering. The duelist rarely took part in social events, but this gathering was one of old friends, who, as it happened, also knew Furina, and whom Clorinde had not seen in a while, anyway, so she thought she'd extend an invitation.
In days past, Furina would certainly have refused, for the greater the intimacy of her association with others, the more difficult it would be to conceal her true identity.
The duelist smiled as Furina guiltily lifted her eyes, having seemingly already guessed the latter's feelings as well as her old reasons for snubbing such events.
"I don't suppose you have any reason to refuse now, do you?"
"Well... I'm not very good at this sort of thing, so, um... Don't you think I'd, you know, be a bit of a wet blanket?"
That night, Furina finally got to experience what it was like to revel and drink with friends. In truth, she was cautious at first but was restored to her normal self within two cups — indeed, so much so that at one point Clorinde had to restrain her from leaping onto the table.
For someone as reticent as the duelist, the real Furina's explosiveness was quite the surprise.
As for Furina, she still knew not where to go, but if nothing else, she now knew that "freedom" did not mean solitude.

Salon SolitaireFurina once found a relatively unknown book in a library of Fontaine, and the story's main character was a servant working in an opulent mansion.
The idealistic young Mademoiselle Crabaletta, following a newspaper advertisement, came to a remote manor in the mountains to apply for employment, and despite her clumsiness, became a maid there all the same.
The Master of said mansion did not appear often, and though his loquacious surintendante and etiquette-minded gentilhomme managed it in his absence, she led a carefree life there.
None of the manor's attendants had been to the city in quite a long while, and so the maid taught them to sing the latest songs, play the latest tabletop games, and thus the servants grew closer and enjoyed one another's company.
There was but one ironclad rule, which was that none should approach the heavy wooden door that led three floors underground, behind which was locked a secret that only the Master of the mansion was privy to.
Though the maid was curious, she treasured her vibrant life there too much to pry. Time passed quietly, and one day, they were told by the gentilhomme that the Master was about to visit, and so the servants hurriedly began to prepare.
The banquet was akin to a festival, and laughter and cheer filled every corner of the mansion — at least, until the Master was late the second day, and upon investigating, the maid was to discover his already-cold corpse.
The Gardes narrowed the suspects down to the servants, but the maid, convinced that the Master's death had something to do with the mansion's secret, at last decided to open that forbidden gate.
To her surprise, what awaited her on the other side was the mansion's main hall, upon the central stairs of which stood the all-too-familiar surintendante of the house. The words she spoke, too, were bizarrely known to the maid.
"Ah, you must be our newest applicant. Crabaletta, I believe?"
Furina was quite dumbfounded when she read that, for the story here recalled similar events in her memories.
She admired the happy lives of the maid and the other servants, and the maid's courage in facing down the ancient secret to defend that life.
Later, Furina dreamt of that same mansion. In her dream, she was Crabaletta, huffing and puffing as she ran to that door of secrets, and, with one deep breath, pushed it open.
Behind it was a torrent of seawater that drowned the mansion in an instant, dissolving all in its wake — the Gardes, the surintendante of the house, the gentilhomme, and even herself.
Furina woke with a start, looking around her to gather her wits, and the rest of the story sprang to her mind, unbidden...
Crabaletta made use of the time loop triggered by opening the door to solve the mystery of the Master's death and discover the mansion's secret, freeing all its inhabitants from an ancient curse.
"Thank you, Crabaletta."
She thanked the brave, stalwart girl for giving that tale a happy ending.
And as for several vivid figures from the story, they would eventually be given lovely forms, that they might be by Furina's side.

Vision"If you become human, you can reveal your secret to no one. You will face suffering and loneliness... Is this still what you want?"
By a twist of fate, the musical "The Little Oceanid" which nearly died before it could live, got the chance to be performed, and proved a resounding success at the Opera Epiclese.
Furina, standing in for the real actress, played the heroine Clio, who sacrificed herself to guide the freshwater upon which human survival depended back to them.
According to the script, she was not to take up the Vision that would appear before her as she disappeared, but instead allow it to fall into the ocean depths alone.
But during the actual performance, a real Vision appeared, and it belonged to Furina.
Visions are usually objects that appear in response to humankind's most fervent wishes, but this one, in particular, seemed more like a reward for her past deeds.
As Furina grasped it, its reflected radiance seemed to contain her heart, filled once again by this performance.
Performing had, in the past, brought her much pain, to the point where she had turned her back on the stage, but she indubitably understood the glory and brilliance of the stage best of all, and could give those who chase their dreams on the stage her matchless guidance and support.
As to the question of what to do next, which had plagued her for so long, she now had a clear answer:
To see this world from the perspective of the audience, and create the greatest performances without stepping onstage.
No longer would her attention be focused only on musicals — as long as it's related to performance, Furina is interested in taking part from behind the curtain.
Also, it is worth mentioning that though she seemed quite calm upon receiving that Vision, so much so that she even managed a few fine words, upon leaving the theater troupe, Furina immediately set off afterward to avenge herself on the "Local Legend" she had once angered by accident... which ended quite poorly for her.
She returned home, dejected but not defeated. She spent all night studying her Vision, which ended up causing the entire building to flood.
And once she had finally cleaned things up together with the Salon Members, she received a final missive from the apartment manager.
"No pets allowed in these apartments — not even if they are a Gentilhomme or Surintendante."

Ik yall gonna be Like “WhAt aBouT tHe Off FieLD DpS”, at this point bro, I just want a kokomi replacement in my double hydro team with Neuvillette, love her heals but I WANT BUFFS.

  2. Too long don’t read

For those who genuinely wanna run her with Ayaka (like me; you aren’t alone), here’re a bunch of yes-no questions we can consider:
    – Can her dps and her buff outdmg the 68% (or 48% if you use totm Furina) atk by replacing Kokomi? If not, can her c1?
    – Is her hydro application good enough in Ayaka’s freeze? If not, should we absorb Kazuha Q with hydro? If so, or even too good, can she ruin the freeze team in boss fight, by ruining Cryo aura?
    – Is BS better than Golden Troupe if the enemies can be frozen?
    – Will she suffer ER issue? If so, should she use fav or sac?
    – To ensure healing also to accumulate fanfares while retaining Shenhe also, and ensure swirling Cryo more consistently, Furina only has 50% uptime with her dps pets. The rest of 50% will be for her healing pet. If we instead make her dps pets have 100% field time, could Shenhe be replaced by… Charlotte? Is the dps worse in this new team compared to traditional Ayaka freeze? Can we still be able to swirl Cryo consistently?
    – (Related to the previous 2 questions) should we introduce 2 hydros? If so, [the last question in the 2nd point]
    – Talking about swirl, can we double swirl both Hydro and Cryo consistently?

    – Grand final question (require answering all the above first): is she really worth it in Ayaka freeze in the first place?

I won’t be surprised if most of answers don’t support running her with Ayaka. Or there’re questions that I may have overlooked (pls remember I don’t care about c6 5star TC). My initial prediction is: Furina has the worst synergy with Ayaka freeze.

I think this’s… intentional. Why? I’ve been theorizing that Hoyo… isn’t that loving Ayaka like u guys think, since about 3.8. U can only see the surface of the “relationship” between them, and I can see the dark side also. I’m tempting to say “hate” instead, but it’s fortunately not correct either; therefore, the correct term is “equally treat”. And u can’t change my mind. U shouldn’t btw; let’s discuss the above questions instead as this paragraph is just merely a subjective theory, hence it doesn’t worth discussing.

    • First of all, stop spamming.
I’ll gladly give you simplified answers with your questions.

      1. Yes, with good stats. TotM is only preferable if you want her to be pure support with less damage. No constellation needed.
      2. Good hydro application thanks to her three summons. Kazuha absorbs hydro for normal mobs, cryo to burst elite boss. No, she won’t ruin cryo aura because more hydro application = more benefit on Ayaka with BS.
      3. No, GT is technically better at the moment for Furina, cause her elemental skill is something you’ll often use.
      4. Unless you run double hydro, yes. If she’s solo hydro, Favonius + crit goblet. Sac is worthless considering she has 100% skill uptime.
      5. Yes you can still swirl cryo consistently regardless, your rotation decides.
      6. Yes if you want to maximize Furina’s passive to be at maximum 40k HP. Otherwise no.
      7. Yes, Ayaka freeze practically needs consistant hydro application, and Furina provides it good with her three summons.

There you have it. Once again, please stop spamming.
Not that I’m trying to limit your rights/opinions, it’s pretty annoying at this point, since you should be able to notice it as hard Ayaka main.

    • – Furina buff over all damage not the atk like totm, in best case of 450 fanfare you got whooping 94.5% dmg bonus if you can max it
      – Regarding hydro application, i’m not really sure but i think it focused to single target or small aoe unlike kokomi wide aoe in change of your summon can follow you
      – I personally will prefer 70% skill dmg bonus from golden troupe if the furina always on off field
      – ER wise, i also not sure, her skill will last a long ass time, and it will probably generate quite a lot energy so ER weapon not really neccessary i think
      – This is my main concern as well, If your main dps not from fontaine (which mostly not have hp draining mechanic) and not drain enough hp, and it will kinda difficult to maximixe furina fanfare stack
      – Duo hydro will depend on the playstyle i guess, and yes it kinda possible to swirl 2 element, but it will require specific order of elemental application and more deeper mechanic to achieve this

3 idk what bs is but her best set is hunter
4 minimal give her fav only i its ur best option i would recomend 120/140 er i think should work
5 i actually i would recomend you to remove your anemo unit foor jean she will help to get fanfare quicly and probably is theonly way to out do kokomi at c0

      • 1, really depends on how much healing your team has
2, she has some AoE it’s just not especially impressive
3,bs is blizzard strayer and hunter is only best at c2, before that it’s golden troupe
4, 120/140 ER is terrible advice, she needs upwards of 200 depending on the team
5,Jean is fine but her VV is inconsistent
        6, Valid
7, double swirling isn’t too hard
        8, agreed, situational

      • Furina’s hydro app is pretty good, but only excelling in AoE. Why would she be good against bosses though if her hydro app is less than Yelan’s but also the benefit of AoE?
Furina’s seahorse applies hydro every 3 seconds with very small AoE.
Furina’s octopus applies hydro every 7 seconds with a medium AoE, half of burgeon.
Furina’s crab pet applies hydro every 4.35 seconds with the largest AoE, being 70% the size of burgeon.

So it just means Furina has less hydro app, but better AoE, which works better for vape characters with more AoE so it’s not Hu Tao or Yoimiya but maybe Yanfei or DIluc. It also means she has harder time putting out burning so she is worse for Thoma burgeon, but also better for Dehya burgeon because Dehya has slower pyro.
This also makes Furina better fitting into quickbloom than hyperbloom, especially since hyperbloom has no benefit from the dmg bonus plus a lack of healer options unless Baizhu driving.

I don’t think Furina is worthwhile in Ayaka freeze but it’s not the end off the world since Ayaka freeze is already amazing and has no shortage of options
I definitely think that as of right now it’s Wriothesley and Neuvilette who work best with Furina, other than those 2 she’s more of a general option but not strictly “better” than Kokomi, Yelan, Xingqiu

    • You might actually be able to pull off Ayaka Freeze with Furina and that must rely on Charlotte. Furina has remarkable AoE even when her pets have pretty sluggish hydro application individually, being every 3s for seahorse, every 7 seconds for octopus, and every 4.35 seconds for crab.
Charlotte is the team healer and heals the active character afterwards. Even though Charlotte is kinda designed to be a sub-dps healer and scaling off atk, you might as well forsake the not-noticeable dps of Charlotte and stick a TTDS on Charlotte. TTDS on Charlotte and ToM just like Kokomi. Then you can either stick to Blizzard Strayer on Ayaka, which ends up situational due to bosses, or Marechaussee Hunter to be more flexible with crit buff.

Furina will do fine damage even with a Fleuvre Cendre Ferryman AND an ER sands. You would typically run HP/HP/Crit, and since her burst is quite necessary, ER/HP/Crit will do and have more team damage distribution since Furina does do more damage than Kokomi who focuses the dps onto Ayaka.

So the plan is Furina (GT, Fleuvre Cendre Ferryman), Ayaka (BS or MH), Kazuha (VV,/FS, Iron Sting, or Umbrella Corp), and Charlotte (ToM + Fav, Oathsworn Eye, or Frostbearer).

The only issue I see with the team is primarily energy. Ayaka needs a good amount of energy and I dunno ho well Charlotte can do so vs. Diona, Rosaria, or ofc the premium Shenhe. Furina being only hydro would make her really hungry for energy. We would need to see Furina with at least 220 ER, or edit rotations to where Furina catches Fav particles. And then Charlotte wants ER too, but thanks to Oathsworn, she can get some from its passive, and Fav has higher trigger rate due to her multi-mark hit with her skill

I remember people saying Yelan was Xingqiu powercreep but here we are using both together
Childe has unmatched application in AoE
Yelan and Xingqiu both have amazing off field dps, but Yelan is more damage and offensive buffs while Xingqiu is defensive and ST application
Kokomi is an amazing versatile healer and also great with dendro
Ayato is cool (gonna be honest I don’t really know what his unique upsides are)
Neuvilette is pure unadulterated pressure washing power
Furina is reasonable sub-dps with 100% uptime and potentially huge dmg bonus on ult.
The whole hydro roster has so much going for it, Furina and Neuvilette aren’t replacing the amazing units we have they’re just adding onto them

Benny give an enourmus boost, Furina drain HP from Hutao so the marachusse is triggered and u have free 36% crit rate, than the hp drain help tao to be low health for atk buff plus benny and than Yelan give hydro + bonus dmg? man Furina is broken

But furina want to your team have hp change as much as possible (1% hp changed you get 1 stack i think) to achieve max fanfare stack which will give enormous buff (~94% at max stack)
So yeah in short you want the whole party have their hp drained and restored as much and as fast as possible (like obviously she will have great synergy with fontaine char)

And regarding the hydro application i dont think it will be outmatched xq in term of pacing, it just have perfect pace for hu tao not to fast not to slow

My statement is solely from this web data and a bot of gameplay leak, so it may be correct or maybe wrong
      Peace

Kokomi/Yelan/XQ/Kazuha is strong and I love to play it. Maybe replacing XQ by Furina in this team ? Kokomi heals teamwide under burst and Kazuha is already shreding hydro res.

  6. She looks good on paper, but the problem is how fast she accumulate fanfare point? If her summon attack every sec, then we only get 12 fanfare point/sec. And if in her team there is kokomi doing her burst (lets assumpt that she hit twice/sec and her jelly heal once/sec) we got another 12 fanfare/sec. Counting furina passive she give additional 4 fanfare/2 sec.
In total we only get 260 fanfare point after 10 second. So in order to get additional point we forced to include fountain character(because most of them have their own hp change mechanic) on her team. Is it new predatory scheme by hoyo? They wont stop with their ousia/pneuma mechanic! And im sure they will introduce more on the future.

Tldr: dumb hoyo forced us to pull new character with furina’s kit.

    • This is the point. She will be fine with old unit and awesome with Fontaine units. So everyone have still a room in their team while you can still play her wherever you want. Balanced.
(Yes, you can put Furina in teams she isn’t the ultra best for, loosing 2sec in you abyss performance doesn’t matter if you aren’t a speedrunner)

      • As I understand her kit, as was pointed out, her fanfare stacking is slow, which locks her in teams with new characters with their own drain / gain mechanic and bloom / fridge teams. C2 fixes that and will be a “free her from few, certain teamcomps and make her generally useable”-constellation which is a huge selling point (and kind of a d**k move).

    • You can get 280 Fanfare points with a team healer healing as much as Furina consumes. 70 points generated per character. That’s 58% damage bonus for the team. Furina alone only gives 29%. Dehya gives 60 stacks, 10 to get from Redmane pushing from 50% max HP to 40% max HP, and 50 from the healing of her A4. This can happen while Dehya is off-field, something that can’t take place for Fontainians, who need 4 to 10 seconds of uptime to drain their own Hp.

You might also go for Prototype Amber to be on teams for some more stacks, 72 at R5, but no more than that with Prototype Amber. Jean is a good choice, Sayu as a Jean/Bennett fusion, or Mika as a C2 jean/Qiqi fusion.

Think of the combination of Mika’s atk speed buff and Marechaussee Hunter on some dps while Furina drains the HP. That would be a unique combo trifecta, ignoring MIka’s phys dmg oriented buffs, and focuses on that healing and atk speed buff.

      • Neuvi’s “drawback” is not a wide roster of HP scaling and/or charged atk carry supports and his A1 “restricting” team building. Overall teambuilding flexibility IS his weakness, if just a minor one.

      • Neuv’s drawback is being gated into 3/4 element teams to maximise his damage, and currently having no dedicated support
Even after Furina releases Neuv is still losing 1 a1 stack at c0 so he’s not reaching peak potential
And his weapons: no f2p weapon comes close to his sig
At C1 with Furina and his sig I would say he has no drawbacks, but that’s very high investment and not many are lucky enough to get that (after all it’d take nearly 800 pulls in 2 patches to actually guarantee, I was just lucky)

        • So yeah Neuvilette has clear drawbacks, he’s just strong enough to be good even with them (as all characters should be: good but with drawbacks)

As for the others? Alhaitham isn’t someone I can comment on other than me not personally enjoying his playstyle.
Xingqiu has downsides too, he has high energy requirements, low base atk, a long Skill CD and can’t snapshot buffs like Xiangling. But again what he excels at outweighs what he’s bad at.

  7. I have an R4 Key of Khaj. Would it be worth using at C0/C2 over Signature or Festering Desire? Stats will probably be ER/Hydro/Crit, not sure if Golden Troupe or Marechaussee Hunter would be BIS.

C2 I’d say key with marechaussee
C0 is a bit harder, R4 key is oddly specific but I think the extra HP may be worth, and Golden troupe is BiS

  8. She isn’t mediocre at any for HP based teams (she isn’t a Catalyst, so she can’t use TTDS)… Though C1 is sort of required to unlock all of her potential. Also, C1 Mona has some edge on Hu Tao over Furina due to vape.

Consuming 50% of the HP of the whole team provides 200 fanfare points, which is equivalent to 44% DMG increase at C0-C4. That’s 16% shy from Mona’s 60%, but it lasts for whole 18 seconds as opposed to a 5 seconds Omen.

Note that Mona’s Omen can last for up to 13 seconds against Bosses, so the difference isn’t very noticeable in this case (even C6 Neuvillette can only use his Charged Attack for up to 13 seconds, though at that point nothing in front of him should be alive ).

Going into C1, she should be able to gain an additional 33% DMG increase from a lvl 10 Elemental Burst, which does make her buff stronger than Mona’s (77% vs 60%), even offsetting the Vape deal for Hu Tao teams.

I mean… 17% is greater than 15%, but remember that Reaction DMG usually has better returns for Hu Tao due to how EM bonuses scale at a logarithmic scale and how there aren’t much more sources for it besides EM and Crimson Witch.

Anyways, she can be busted at C6, but I would not otherwise count with any Fanfare stacks besides what she gets from using her Elemental Skill to suck the life out of your characters and what she gets for free at C1. It’s sort of an Eula situation.

My advice: If you can get her C1, go for it, regardless if you have Mona and her Constellations.

If you can only get C0, only seriously consider getting her if you don’t have C1 Mona; If you have C4 Mona, then forget about it altogether.

Also, Sacrificial Sword will probably be her best 4* by a long shot. Remember that she needs Characters to be at full health to gain 200 Fanfare stacks, but she can only heal by herself when using her Elemental Skill (Pneuma version) which is also the way she “bleeds” your team for 200 Fanfare stacks (Ousia version). The thing has a 20 seconds cooldown, and needs to be used twice during that time. Simple math.

Even if you count with the overflow from Neuvillette or possibly Hu Tao, for example, the fact that you still have another 250 stacks to max her buff makes it so having Sac sword to already start at advantage is almost always the best choice.

      • It’s not a matter of “extending” it, but simply that some enemies naturally don’t take poise damage, and as such the bubble only pops after the max duration is over; Said enemies are bosses and certain empowered enemies.

Freezing makes it so enemies that usually take poise (most common enemies) won’t take any (unless they are thawed or shattered).

The Omen lasts for both the bubble duration and 5 seconds after it pops, which goes for a total of 13 seconds.

    • Realistically, Furina wouldn’t be able to consume 50% of team’s HP in 18 seconds before the Universal Revelry buff expires and resets. Furina’s skill-linked pets attack pretty slowly. So what you will expect is 35% HP reduced from everyone, so she gives a 29% buff instead, and with a team healer in the midst, recovery of the team yields alnotehr 35% HP change per character, which is 280 stacks total and 58% damage bonus.

Additional stacks would be through Fontaine’s HP manipulators, or Dehya. Yeah, I said Dehya. Dehya’s HP is manipulated from off-field, which is something unique to her alone. The Redmane’s Blood is used to push her HP below 50% when it comes to the second rotation or onward, and then jumpstart the Fanfare points through her A4, giving 50+ stacks from there over a period of 10 seconds. Dehya’s damage mitigation also acts as a damage reduction to the main character without the loss of overall HP changed through damage received.

    • Furina’s a whole meta changer, pretty much demanding team healers, or just strong healers in general. Bennett is one but he can’t use Furina’s A1 so he is stuck as an active character healer. Since Furina drains team HP, she turns everyone into a user of 4pc Marechaussee Hunter. And you know what that reminds me of? Mika. You combine the 2pc of marechaussee and SPEED of MIka’s Skill buff and his on-attack healing, you got yourself plenty of excess healing and buffs.

I also would like to coin the “Sunfare” Jean team [Sunfire Jean + funfare) which utilizes the extra healing between Bennett and Jean as well as the constant pyro swirl to make Furina forward vape. What I’ve seen is that Furina has less hydro app than Xingqiu and Yelan but more AoE, and that means harder to defeat burning which means continuous pyro application makes forward vape easier to do, while also causing temporary hydro auras to be swirled and shredded.

My idea of the team is Jean, Bennett, Furina, and either Xiangling or Ayato. Ayato for the dps and hydro resonance, Xiangling for off field dps, and pyro application.
