Item Story
"In truth, the moon did not always look like a pearl..." That was a story from a long, long time ago — a dreadful story. Fortunately, it is just a story — not some memory of mine or yours. Once upon a time, the moon turned into the shape of fangs that smirked ferociously. Moonlight no longer waltzed through the leaves to cast itself onto the grass, turning the dew into glimmering pearls. Trees were thrust down to the ground like wheat overwhelmed by strong winds. Every inch of the land was swamped by grief. The grief was so formidably immense and intense that even the streams were fraught with the pungent odor of salt and iron. Our creator, Queen Aranyani, trusted us with the forest. We thus embarked upon the battles against the monsters that emerged from the darkness, colossi made of iron and steel, and Marana. She entered the desert with the forest's children. They burnt the roots of disaster and tore the branches of calamity, but only a few of them eventually made it back to the embrace of the shade of trees. We lost Vanarana, and too many Aranara returned to the ground before their time. Even the story that survived was bitter and agonizing. But we defeated the calamity in the end. Even in the deepest sea of sand, the lotuses still bloomed. She who created us had once again created new life to mend the land's hollowed heart. ... Courage and strength still ring out amidst the most bitter of tales. No story is as powerful as "memories," but they empower nevertheless. I will cherish the stories you handed to me, stories of our adventure. Should calamity ever recur and the moon mutate, these stories will protect the forest on your behalf. |

Nevermind, needs to be triggered off-field…
It legit says “This effect can be triggered even when the character is off-field.” It doesnt say anything about an off-field requirement, it works normally and off-field, learn to read.
Either Sucrose, Yae, or off-field Lisa im thinkin.
This instead of thrilling tales for double geo ningguang (with 4pc instructor) supporting Hu Tao? Maybe that’s too much EM?
For calculation it will take 212 atk and gives 180 em at max refine on yae miko (highest base atk catalyst user so far), not a bad deal imo
…….okay, so. If you assume this is gonna be Kusanali’s free weapon, then presumably she’s pure EM scaling, with absolute no need for ATK. EXCEPT, the new EM artifact set gives ATK??? Though, it only gives ATK for every party member of the same element, so maybe Kusanali just shouldn’t ever run in double Dendro or mono Dendro comps? ……..except that double Dendro gives EM, so. Uh. In conclusion, ?????
I hope what you just said will become true.
atk% scaling character (talent scaling wise) that just relies heavily relies on em
after all this weapon can give 180 em and a good amount of ER despite being a 4 star, of course they have to put on a catch
it is too early to think about this. The Catch was not added until 2.1, so its more likely Kusanali’s f2p weapon will release around the same time.
She could be a Dendro sub dps that scales purely of elemental mastery, like Yelan of HP, and Kusanali’s best set would be the other one
yae miko is gonna LOVE this in combination with the new EM set, i have kaguras but still im gonna r5 this just for fun
they changed it to ER… maybe not that great for yae anymore
it wouldnt be good for her anyway, em is alright but sacrificing atk for that is definitely not worth it. another shit craftable catalyst thanks mhy love you heart
useless, actually
So based on the new video about new 3.0 weapons passive’s, this one requires to TRIGGER 5 different reactions to fully scale…
This one is going to be fun to use during abyss retries. Only way to make this a competent alternative is to drop the base attack even more to get more ER out of it… we are losing 25% attack anyway yoiu don’t want this for the attack.
i would love to know which character can use this tbh. i think sac fragment is better for support sucrose even if its c0. i dont think its good for subsupports because 25% atk lost is too big for me because most catalyst for no reason have an average atk of 1500-1800 if they arent using any 18% atk artifacts but maybe this is just my case. i cant comment on kokomi because i dont have her and i dont know if kokomi is faster in application or the subdps is faster. so as for now, i can only see this as equivalent to hakushin ring but we will see i guess since its not even released yet.
This is because most catalyst user have a lower base attack than other weapon users
So…use it on taser driver Kokomi? since her damage is largely dependent on her hp and healing bonus rather than atk… Otherwise full EM sucrose might like it since r5 gives 180 EM…but thats less than sacrificial fragments 220 em and said 220 isn’t conditional or requiring refinements plus the sac passive means probably as much or more energy gain as the ER substats on this weapon…
Oh full EM support Lisa could use this since the sac passive is less useful on her…so like full noblesse with em and er focused stats, use her burst to support a dendro character via quicken/aggravate.
Kokomi still wants attack for her damage, and in taser comps this weapon competes with Hakushin ring, that also gives ER and boosts her and the electro sub dps raw damage, while EM sometimes buffs the EC Kokomi does but nothing when electro procs… which happens a lot.
Thing with Lisa is that her skill has a massive attack % and this will butcher that move, which you want to use no matter what, since it generates a lot of energy and gets better with constellations. At that level of investment you are better off with Sac Fragments (more skill damage, more skill usage, more aggravate damage and more energy since her C1 has no CD)
And on Sucrose… nope, like you said.
“Kokomi still wants attack for her damage”… I have seen all.
With all due respect, it would be nice if you don’t mess with things you don’t really understand. As a F2P-player with 36 stars that uses Kokomi as active frontline dps a lot, I can tell: that is complete hogwash. Probably her damage would be a bit higher with higher ATK stat, but it doesn’t benefit her anyhow. EM is much better, especially for “EM x lvl” reactions based setups.
Yet, I must admit I would prefer Sacrificial Fragments to this thing due to its mechanics. ER sub stat is fine, I guess, but for me is much more important to have the ability to replace the jellyfish instead of resetting its timer. Especially against moving enemies like the Serpent.
i was hyped up changing my sucrose sac frag at first, but sac frag surely way better than this. unless nahida going to be dendro xingqiu, this weap probably going to be her f2p bis since its work off field
Huh. Looks like they change the substat from atk% to ER. At least it is usable now.
