I think they want us to play cards

13 new character cards, 13 new “constellation” cards, 8 weapon cards, 6 artifact cards, 21 miscellaneous cards, and 4 food cards
65 cards in total. with the 26 duplicate 4-star character and “constellation” cards, that’s 91 CARDS. WTF.
Man, I haven’t played Genius Invocation since the patch that it released and I beelined for The Fourth Match handbook challenges before the classic Ayaka/Yoimiya Deck got nerfed.
TCG is getting a ridiculously missive update it seems. Cant wait to play with whole new decks refreshed from top-to-bottom
I do hope they’ll add some rewards for playing against other players or at least some ranking system. Because currently, I don’t see any reason why should I play it except polish my deck or get used to mechanics and tactics. No impact whatsoever on the “real” world except the Battle Pass weekly challenge.
some sort of ranking system will be cool, like the top 3 player on each server will have their name with their favorute deck displayed on the tavern for one season, maybe they can give a special name card if you reach certain rank in the ladder, but idk how the playerbase will react to that, it seems like people very allergic with anything related to pvp
While a ranking system is a cool idea, I think it will be better if mihoyo create TC game on it’s own, just like CDPR with their separate Gwent game. And I doubt more than half Genshin playerbase care about TCG stuff at all, unless it’s primogems related.
