角色详细 | 在律法齐备——甚至是繁多——的枫丹廷,有着许多让外来游客诧异的律法条例。 例如,不能将奶油水果挞直接放在未烘热的餐盘上、不能将没喝完的枫达故意放在路中央、不能忘记给家养的小猫剪指甲… 如此情况,违律在所难免。但对于熟稔此事的枫丹人来说,他们总是会根据前来处理违律事宜的人员身份,来辨别事态的严重程度,从而确定自己下一步该做什么。 如果来的只是店员,那么这件事只用一场简单的争论就能解决,看个热闹很不错;如果来的是穿着制服的复律官,那就代表着周围的所有人都不得不听一顿啰啰嗦嗦的唠叨,还是赶紧离开为妙;如果来的是执律庭的警官,那被卷入事务的人都要吃点苦头,甚至赔点钱,这时就该立即澄清自己与此事无关。 但是,如果来的是那位戴着高帽,身背铳枪的特巡队队长夏沃蕾,和一群特巡队队员… 那么,就代表着恶性案件正在发生,也许是恶徒暴力拒捕、凶犯劫持人质…总之,此时唯一应当做的,就是在特巡队队员的引导下迅速回避,给予这群「凶犯处理专家」以行动空间。同时,压抑住自己的好奇心,不要试图藏匿在某个隐蔽处,试图近距离旁观特巡队执法,即使是采访,也请等待事务处理完毕。 最重要的是,毋需不安,更不用恐惧。 因为枫丹人都知道,当那位夏沃蕾队长出现时,凶犯就已经难逃法网。 |
角色故事1 | 「再调皮的话,就要被特巡队抓走了!」 一些枫丹家长训斥自己闯祸的孩子时,常常用这句话来做开头。 如此被父母「吓唬」大的孩子们,尽管早已成年,也明知特巡队绝不可能因为孩子们不刷牙、睡懒觉、弄破窗户,或是偷吃蛋糕这类事出动,但在看见现任特巡队队长夏沃蕾时,他们还是会不由自主地站直身子,挪开目光,本能地握住双手,生怕自己犯了某种足以被拘捕,但自己却毫不知情的罪过。虽然明知这群好警官们是真的是在打击犯罪,也十分尊敬这群好人,但绷紧身体的冲动的确难以抑制… 对于这样的「赫赫凶名」,特巡队内部也颇为无奈。曾经有人对夏沃蕾建议,如此「凶名」流传在外,有损特巡队形象。我队是执律庭下属的正式执法部门,之所以执法手段强势,执法过程激烈,只是因为面对的凶犯都是极恶之徒。用特巡队的名号吓唬孩子,实在是… 为什么不请《蒸汽鸟报》来采访一次夏沃蕾?由这位队长亲自强调,特巡队只是针对凶犯的执法机构,行事皆是为了维护枫丹廷之稳定安全,绝不会无故为难市民… 但夏沃蕾却否决了这项提议。 「如果这种名声真能如此深入人心,让人牢记一生,那也许大家在谋划某些出格事务时,也会因为忌惮特巡队的『凶名』而退却吧。」 「…这样的话,我也许就不用在将来的某天,真的将他们抓走了。」 * 好感等级达到2后开启 |
角色故事2 | 作为维护枫丹律法之约束力的重要部门,「枫丹廷大执律庭」是一个严谨庄重的部门,所有执法人员都要接受严肃的审查与教导。他们的一言一行都代表着执律庭,也代表着枫丹廷之律法,绝不能出现半点错漏。 不过,「枫丹廷特巡队」的作风却与其他执法部门截然不同。他们并不强制所有人使用制式武器,在非正式场合也不要求穿戴制服…而且,在夏沃蕾接手特巡队后,队内成员都开始将铳枪作为执法武器之一,甚至有些队员拒绝与警卫机关共同执行任务,理由是这些一动不动的机关会妨碍他们的铳枪开火,同时也有被凶犯控制转而攻击自己的风险。并且,在选拔人员时,特巡队还会接受那些被剥夺名誉的罪人后代… 为了尽快侦破凶案,执律庭尚能容忍上述问题,对特巡队和夏沃蕾也能保持耐心。但让他们忍无可忍的是,在夏沃蕾主导办理凶案时,甚至会请来某些重刑犯作为「特别顾问」参与案件调查。 虽然夏沃蕾坚持这么做只是为了尽快追捕凶犯,但某些同僚还是认为,寻求违律者的帮助来拘捕违律者,这是在侮辱枫丹的律法和所有执法者,长此以往,执律庭和律法尊严何在? 面对这些质问,夏沃蕾只是一如既往地做出了简短的回答: 「凶犯逍遥在外,才是对律法最大的侮辱。」 「而执律庭的『尊严』,和枫丹廷的安宁相比不值一提。」 这也是她的父亲对她的教诲之一。 * 好感等级达到3后开启 |
角色故事3 | 「多纳泰洛先生是一位正直的执法者。」 当夏沃蕾与人谈起自己的父亲时,总是如此简短地评价。这也是她童年时对自己父亲唯二的印象之一。 多纳泰洛先生总是忙个不停,每天早上匆匆离开,每天夜里疲惫归来,再给母亲和夏沃蕾一个拥抱,温和地向久等他归来的俩人道歉。有时回来太晚,他会带一点小点心给夏沃蕾。但很遗憾,小夏沃蕾早刷了牙,不能再吃甜食。 考虑到这份难得的礼物即将一夜变质,母亲会允许小夏沃蕾轻轻舔一口奶油,尔后将这份甜点和咖啡一起送去父亲的卧室。 这时,父亲总是对着那面挂满画片与图钉的墙面发呆,转圈,抽烟,弄乱头发,有时甚至会高高举起拳头,又轻轻放下,再无奈地拍拍桌子——这是夏沃蕾在门外偷偷看见的。 当她偶尔在街上看见父亲时,会兴奋地朝他挥手,这时多纳泰洛先生至多以微笑回应,随后又投身于各种繁杂的事务之中了。 「他是个正直的好人。」 母亲、邻居、同僚,甚至是隔壁的小朋友们,都如此评价父亲。 但是,那些总是称赞父亲为人正直的同僚们,却在某天突然拜访了夏沃蕾的家。 母亲不知所措地看着他们在家中来来往往,夏沃蕾待在房里,但她还是从屋外的争吵声中隐约猜到,自己的父亲成为了他之前一直追捕着的「罪人」,如今正在等待审判,很可能被流放至梅洛彼得堡。 「爸爸…做了错事?」 她如此询问身边陌生的大人们。对方哽咽良久,回答道: 「…但他是一位正直的执法者。」 一位正直的罪人。 这是夏沃蕾童年时期,对自己父亲的唯二印象。 * 好感等级达到4后开启 |
角色故事4 | 即使是将枫丹廷最好的故事作家请来,也很难向一个孩子解释,为何迟迟不给一个被所有证据指明有罪的嫌犯定罪;为何无辜的执法者被诬时大家却保持沉默;为何众多明见罪行的人不愿意说明真相;为何被诬者必须要以自己的前途与名誉为代价,才能请来正义列席。 更难说明的是,为何行使一件正义的好事,必须要以罪行铺垫。 但对于夏沃蕾来说,更切实的体会,则是全家迁入「灰河」后突变的生活。 狭窄的屋子,不那么好吃的食物,不能再联系的朋友,还有日渐疲惫的母亲…虽然父亲的同事们时常穿着便服,带着各种东西前来拜访,他们对母亲说,所有人都在努力为多纳泰洛先生申告,不仅是警备队和特巡队的队员,甚至几位和他们相熟的复律官也一同参与了申告,虽然多纳泰洛先生违律事实确凿,从律法角度不能减刑,但他们至少会保证多纳泰洛先生不会再多受苛责。但即便如此,母亲依然每天都忧愁如初。 为了照顾母亲,夏沃蕾毫不犹豫地挑起了本不需年幼的她担负的责任,迈入了「灰河」这条幽深的暗流。 或许是因为「灰河」的居民们也听闻过,或许是因为受到过正直的父亲之前的照拂,许多人都向夏沃蕾伸出了援手。好心的老板给了夏沃蕾一份工作,隔壁的夫妇愿意帮忙照顾体弱的母亲。 而当小朋友们听说,有个警备队员的孩子来到「灰河」后,他们就像是找到了审判官的原告和被告一样,将所有还没解决的摩擦打闹都交给了夏沃蕾处理。 「夏沃蕾!你可要伸张正义呀!」 孩子们齐声大喊,然后齐声大笑——他们并不是真的打算让夏沃蕾判定谁对谁错,这只是一场孩子们之间的游戏。 但是,第二天夏沃蕾却带着厚厚的律法材料再次找到了他们,她的手里拿着一本刚刚翻开第一页的笔记本,用严肃的口吻对笑嘻嘻的孩子们说道。 「那么,双方先举证吧。」 从此,「灰河」里多了一位小小的执法者。但与地上的那些执法者不一样的是,夏沃蕾所作出的裁决,会由她亲自监督执行。 她在「灰河」里学到了许多手段,能保证「正义」彻底得到伸张。 * 好感等级达到5后开启 |
角色故事5 | 「…那么夏沃蕾小姐,据本庭调查,你父亲曾违反警备队规章,将重案情报外泄,因此被流放至梅洛彼得堡。」 「而在此之后,你随母亲迁入『灰河』居住…对于你父亲的罪名,和你在『灰河』居住期间的经历,请你对本庭做出补充说明。」 「有关我在『灰河』居住期间的经历,做出说明如下…」 违律被流放的父亲多纳泰洛先生;陷入困顿不得不迁入「灰河」的家庭;因为是「罪人之子」而无法在执律庭工作,所以选择在特巡队里继续打击罪行… 在接受特巡队队长审理时,夏沃蕾一如往常地重复着这份说明稿。服刑期满,现已入职特巡队的多纳泰洛先生将这份稿件检查了无数遍,绝无任何错漏。 虽然被迫离开了自己的岗位许久,但多纳泰洛先生依然了解执律庭的心思。如果夏沃蕾想要顺利接任特巡队队长,最好让执律庭的好先生们拿到一份足够「体面」的说明,让他们能清晰坚实——且留有余地——地对外界宣布这场任命。 早已不是孩子的夏沃蕾当然也很清楚,她的父亲之所以对外泄露重案情报,是为了借助记者们的好奇心,推动对那位嫌犯的调查工作;他们举家迁入「灰河」后,在执律庭的各位队员——甚至长官——的暗中资助下,生活其实算不上困顿;而特巡队的诸位长官与同僚更是提前做好了准备,请夏沃蕾去队内实习,提前熟悉了相关事务… 但说出这一切,对于夏沃蕾接任特巡队队长无益。 即使多纳泰洛先生对夏沃蕾想要承继自己事业这件事仍抱有不安,但女儿已经完成了他设置的所有训练,哪怕是那些堪称故意刁难的测试,夏沃蕾依然竭力通过了。 当夏沃蕾在冬日的刺骨冰海里努力向前时,多纳泰洛先生几乎用尽了这一生所有的意志力来让自己待在原地,不要去搂住尚且年幼的夏沃蕾。当夏沃蕾颤抖着游到了他身边时,多纳泰洛先生知道,自己的女儿比自己更坚强,更适合去伸张「正义」。 但在如今,就让这些事永远在「灰河」中沉默地流淌吧。 他们这对父女,早已游过了冬日的冰海,如今是时候迈步向前了。 「…我父亲违反了警备队规章,罪证确凿,审理无误。」 最后的罪状也陈述完毕,夏沃蕾合上讲稿。 从此,正义必将按时入席。 * 好感等级达到6后开启 |
特巡队贰型制式铳枪 | 与初型相比,改进后的特巡队制式铳枪根据人体肩部结构调整了枪托造型,增长了铳枪枪管。部分特种贰型铳枪上还额外在枪身与枪管下安置了万能导轨,导轨上可安装包括瞄准镜、榴弹投射器、烟幕发射器、声爆发射器、近战武器在内的各种作战设备,可以适应多场合的作战任务。 不过,在通过铳枪改进提升队员战斗力的同时,夏沃蕾也提高了枪械技术的考核标准,增加了多项包括与铳枪无关的考核项目,例如空手格斗。 「特巡队的目的是抓捕凶犯!而不是拿着铳枪到处显摆!」 「如果没有铳枪的话,难道你们就要拒绝执行任务吗?」 于是,托贰型制式铳枪的福,全队训练量又大大增加了。 当然,夏沃蕾自己不折不扣地完成了所有训练项目。 看着宛如铁人一般站在训练场中央的队长,队员们不约而同地哀叹道: 「队长,你就饶了我们吧——」 * 好感等级达到4后开启 |

in some teams, at c6 she can be a bit better than kazu (buff wise, but on the contrary, for grouping she’s totally worse considering overload…)
hence until c6 she’ll be benched easily for me, at c6 maybe she could work with lyney…
So she can do 40% shred like vv and up to 40% pyro/electro buff, the same as a good 1000 em kazuha. Specific, sure, but since she heals on top of it all, that’s really good role compression in one 4*. And c6 boosts the elemental damage buff even further. All in all she looks like an excellent if niche 4*.
Honestly, it would have been better if she removed the need for Bennett from the team as well.
why would you need Bennett in the team? you can consolidate through another pyro character like ToM or DpS dehya. you could also just use Yoimiya or Yanfei instead of electro main dps, especially because we have more electro off field dps than pyro off field dps.
From the looks of it, she’s going to need an atk buffer in the comp. So that’s either Sara if you’re running electro DPS, or Bennett if Pyro DPS. Tbh I want a viable alternative to Bennett for pyro buffs now.

In terms of existing characters, I feel there are 3 main DPS characters whom will benefit the most from Chevreuse: Klee, Yoimiya, and Raiden Shogon.
Klee probably gets the biggest buff (at least relative to her current standing). Klee raw Pyro damage is pretty outstanding, but she is crippled due to her Pryo application being extremely high (and being very clunky to use), making reverse vaporize, forward melt, and burgeon impractical to use. Outside her being used in nuke showcases for other on-fielders, her best practical team is mono-pyro, but Lyney clearly outranks her with that.
With Chevreuse, Klee will be able take great advantage of the resist shred and attack buffs that Chevreuse will be able to apply. Off-field electro supports will be able to constantly do overload due to Klee’s high pyro application, and the overload reaction itself will give some good additional damage in the team.
Klee + Chevreuse will probably pair best with Fischl + Beidou in most situations, although a more offensive (but risky) variant would be replacing Beidou with Bennett in order to give a large attack boost to both Klee to Chevreuse. This alternative set up would be less effective against multiple enemies but better against bosses.
Yoimiya with Chevreuse gives many benefits, the biggest one being that overload gives Yoimiya a form of AOE (one of her biggest issues is that she very single target oriented). The large knockback Overload causes less of an issue for Yoimiya thanks to being ranged.
Reverse-Vaporize would still be better for single target situations, but Overload makes Yoimiya more well rounded, and the buffs Cheveruse provides makes overload a more viable strategy than in the best.
I feel Beidou and Yae Miko would be the best partners for Yoimiya and Chevreuse. Beidou provides interruption resistance (and a shield if C1) and some AOE electro damage, while Yae Miko provides even more AOE electro damage with her skill and burst. Fischl could of course be used instead of Fischl (particularly if getting high ER% for Beidou is too difficult) but I feel it’s more important to emphasize AOE in a team like this for Yoimiya.
For Raiden Shogon, Chevreuse (at C6) is mostly an alternative/sidegrade to Kazuya in the Hyper Carry template (Raiden, Sara and Bennett being core 3). The Chevreuse variant will probably be better against bosses thanks to the additional overload damage, but weaker against mobs thanks to overload knockback and lack of crowd control.
Overall, I think with Chevreuse, Klee will be clearly better than Diluc and the 4* Main DPS units (Noelle with Furina the only exception) and be around the power level of the “weaker” 5* on-fielders like Keqing, Cyno, and Eula.
Yoimiya isn’t buffed to the same extent (but she is already noticeably better than Klee), although I suspect Yoimiya will be the most popular character to pair with Chevreuse, especially if Yomiya’s rerun and Chevreuse’s debut are on the same banner.
For Raiden Shogon, she is already a top tier character but she still will enjoy having another option for folks who like Shogon’s hyper carry team (and maybe free Kazhua to be used on another team).
Chevreuse will likely replace Charlotte as the best Fontaine 4* character in my eyes.

as far as i understood her kit, she’s an overload support with healing options, are there any good dps chars she’s compatible with so far?
Due to overload’s knockback, it will be more efficient against bosses so boss killer DPS will enjoy it more (or Yoimiya because she is ranged).
She replace anemo VV shred (not easy to swirl both pyro and electro outside of Kazuha+Bennett double swirl trick) so you can go either with Pyro onfield DPS and Electro offfieldDPS, or the opposite but Electro onfield DPS usually prefer generaly Dendro support.
Pyro onfield DPS : Yoimiya, Diluc, HuTao, Klee, Dehya (Emblem+C6Bennett)
Pyro offfield DPS : Xiangling, Dehya (EM or Golden Troup, but 1 overload per 2.5s), Thomas (but 1overload per 3s)
Electro onfield DPS : Cyno, Keqing, Raiden Hyper
Electro offield DPS : Fischl, Beidou, Yae, Raiden EM (but 1 overload per 3s), Shinobu (same), Dori (same, special ICD IIRC)

iirc aggravate increase is pretty similar to overload dmg, it’s pyro charas who generally prefer hydro to get that x1.5 multiplier if they can get cosistent vapes on stronger hits
so for pyros only like klee (debatable because of the knockback) and dehya benefit from chev, everyone else is better vaping or if its thoma then burgeon

I tried ONCE to clean the abyss with Yanfei (mixed build atk/EM), Fischl, Beidou & Thoma against Coppelia (Cause i had trouble with my Keqing Quicken team without shields/heal)
And I was surprised to see how much I sh*t on them
And that with a useless Thoma in the team who provides nothing but pyro reso & particles (not even the shield cause you need the flames to land a hit which wasn’t the case)
But you guys tell me that a 4* character that can:
– 40% res shred (with a real fuck*** 100% uptime on both element unlike Kazhua who is way more clunky than people think)
– 40% Atk buff for 30 sec YES 30 sec
– heal
– isn’t circle impact
– all of that at C0 YES C0
– without including potential artifact or weapon buffs

Yes, overload might be one of the worst reaction but It isn’t that bad if you use proper team
The “flying enemies problem”and “no group problem” are both fake problems/skill/artifact issues cause I don’t know for you guys, but for me, floors with bunch of small enemies was allways the easiest floors since everything is easily oneshotable anyway

We’ve seen clorinde with iron sting and considering the state of electro it’s reasonable.
We can’t speculate what she’ll scale off of but it’s most likely attack honestly, either way she’s still probably gonna prioritise EM and then be a probable keqing replacement if she keeps the trend of fontaine characters being good dps wise.
4 off the top of my head:
Raiden (sidegrade to typical hyper Raiden with Kazuha),
Yoimiya (provides AoE and ranged attacks better handle overload; Beidou for IR),
Klee (hakuna matata about pyro application; high raw dps, plus already tons of stagger on heavy ST enemies),
Dehya (given another rbatterythrough C1 Chevreuse, has off field pyro app, lunging punches in her burst, and gives IR for those who need).
pretty much a higher ratio of pyro on fielders for chevreuse to electro on fielders, but higher ratio of electro off fielders for Chevreuse (Kuki, Yae, Fischl, Beidou, Sara) compared to off field (Xiangling, Dehya, Thoma).
Yoimiya and Klee should be easier to use thanks to Chevreuse and no overloaded problems. you can basically get VV shred while maintaining the IR provided by Beidou.
I was hella excited when I heard Chevruse was an overload support since my main team is Klee, Zhongli, Kazuha, & Kuki and before u criticize it has my fav characters and I built all of them so its one of my most powerful team and you can see that it’s an overload team and was ready to replace Zhongli if needed but then I saw that her overload supportive abilities only applies when the team only have pyro & electro which was ehh but I realized that she has basically no other support capabilities for overload besides her c6 (if there are then tell me) and I used all my primos on Furina’s banner (and lost the 50/50) so there is no way I’m getting c6 and her healing is kinda useless since kuki is there with great heals while doing good overload damage (around 12k). “just replace kazuha with someone like fischl” in the team Kazuha is very important cause he groups enemies, shreds resistance, and also groups klees bombs which can proc overload. this team feels very clunky without kazuha and no other character who is pyro or electro can provide that utility. “So why are u complaining about Chevreuse not being good when shes just a 4 star who has a niche?” cause her limitations make her a less useful character for overload and when hoyoverse finally gives something to overload they make her very limited for most teams but tbf her buff is good. (ahem mika is also bad at his niche) so chevreuse seems like a good character to be left lvl 20 in my inventory left to collect dust with no artifacts & beginner’s protector
About Kazuha res shred, Chevreuse shred both electro and pyro when for Kazuha is harder to shred both without Bennett. But yes, Kazuha is an awesome grouper so it makes the difference. (+ his dmg buff vs non-C6 Chevreuse)
I think the purpose of Chevreuse (alongside her overload supporting) is either to deal some burst damage (in Bennett’s burst to get buffed + have good multipliers in both skill and burst) with crit build, either to replace Bennett because she heals and give some atk% buff when played max HP. She won’t be gamebreaking but she will open some team comp. And it’s nice. With her in an overload team against single target boss, you can keep Kazuha for another team dealing with multitarget.
If I can get her, I’ll build her and play her, at least with Yoimiya + Electro flex =)
pretty much Overload is meant for ranged units that can squeeze the juice out of this like Yoimiya or Yae, and that Chevruse is meant to be the fitting support for Clorinde like Gorou is Itto’s and Kujou Sara is Raiden’s
well well well. her burst causes implosion meaning it ows.enemies up towards her. same for her C2.
Chevreuse also doesn’t need to be AoE locked or on field to res shred. plus enemies that are to get knocked back by overload will die fairly quickly like from Yoimiya.
and other enemies nowadays aren’t that prone to knockback. there are wremite soldiers that are but they die quickly, but as for Fontaine enemies, its only the wind/frost operatives. every other enemy there aren’t so easily staggered.
plus she gives an atk buff to the team which is not really something you see of atk buffs. you would basically use the overload team anywhere where bosses are.
So she’s an atk scaler that heals one (1) active party member at a time based on her hp and her passive that buffs atk of specifically pyro/electro characters wants her to have 40k hp.
Is this a joke? If you build her 40k hp, she will do 0 damage and be a waste of field time. If you build her atk, she will still not do significant damage and she will not heal or buff much.
STOP MAKING SPLIT SCALING 4 STARS, HOYO. THEY ARE AWFUL.
From what I got from her kit, she looks like an attempt to give us a Kazuha alternative for hyper-carry Raiden teams. As she would be paired with Bennett, that kinda helps with the ATK problem. And as she buffs elemental dmg, it solves not having a pyro goblet. I still think they did a trash job by designing the scaling. If the idea was to limit her personal damage with ATK scaling, I think she should have had something similar to Nahida mixed scaling, making her skill and burst do ATK% + HP% dmg. Or maybe making her ATK buffing to be 1.5/2% for her and 1% for the other characters so she would actually have ATK for herself. Or maybe if she worked with Geo and Dendro characters, giving us access to Archaic Zhongli and Burning Nahida while excluding the meta vape and bloom comps.
But like, hoyo doesn’t want to power-creep the 1.0 characters. Like, if they added HP scaling to C6 Dori, right now she would have a niche on meta alongside Furina, but they messed up by making her ATK her only source of dmg while she heals by hp.
I’ll be pairing her with Dehya over Bennett tbh, but only because I’ll exclusively use her with Raiden and Sara instead, no point using her otherwise imo. To be honest, it would have been better if she worked the same as she currently does with all pyro reaction comps (Hydro/Pyro, Cryo/Pyro etc), not just Pyro/Electro. It would keep her in a niche, but allows some possible flexibility in her comps. But alas, that would be too powerful apparently. They could have given her good off-field pyro application to make up for the lack of damage potential instead, but they obviously don’t intend to ever replace Xiangling. I hope I’m wrong, but I have zero faith we’ll ever get good pyro 4* units in the future.

She’s the furthest thing from versatile lmao. Put her outside of her (clues in the name) niche and she’s useless. The only thing she’s got going for her outside of her niche is her healing, but it’s vastly inferior than Bennett with no other utility.
my point still stands. if you think she cant do dmg, thats your opinion. go scale hp then. i think if you build her right, she will be great both ways. yall rather complain before she even releases rather than try to understand the kit and build her accordingly. dehya got the same treatment. i say prep for her, pull her, build her, use her, THEN give an opinion. ive watched alot of people change their views on dehya just weeks after her release, this will be the same for chevreuse i guarantee.
Using Dehya undermines your point entirely. She was (and still is) the worst unit in this game by far. It took until Furina for her to become a valuable unit. But Chevvy is not a DPS, so I don’t expect her to do damage at all. So stop pretending I said she does/doesn’t. All I said is she isn’t versatile. If you don’t like that fact, not my problem.
I wouldn’t call it inferior since her healing is potable, and her atk buff isn’t just for the active character. when your whole team are dpses, better to distribute an atk buff among the team rather than center it on the active character. plus Chevreuse’s team member choices are pretty much lined up to be dpses. Thoma’s likely gonna be built EM in such team, Dehya as a light uptime dps, but your electro characters are pretty dpsified- Beidou, Fischl, Raiden, Yae Miko, even EM kuki.
additionally, she res shreds. she is a 2-in-1 character, combining Kazuha and Bennett, except without Kazuha buff until C6. and Hoyo likely balanced her out where she won’t buff like base atk, but off the stat she heals off of, that being HP, so it’s like if Bennett was made in 3.x and was fused with VV set.
cool thing about Chev, she has longer uptime than Bennett, so longer rotations of character are better compensated. plus she doesn’t infuse self with pyro, which absolutely sucks against Coppelius. that freak of a boss hits hard af when it gets to melt.
I agree, she’ll be great in her niche and I’m looking forward to using her if I get her. But I have to clarify, I never said it was inferior in the teams she is part. I stated it’s inferior outside of her niche, except maybe for Furina teams.

Just run her with Bennett and Kazuha if you want her to do good personal damage. Otherwise just run her with Xiangling, Bennett and Raiden and have her be carried by the first two lmao. God knows we’ll never get good Pyro 4 stars anytime soon anyway.
Pretty much she is supposed to be run with Thoma or Dehya, given how they give RTI and reduce DMG taken, and Fischl or Beidou, given how good sub DPS they are. Issue would be if this gimmick can outmatch or keep the pace of Yoimiya Vape and Cyno Hyperbloom
why not build her hybrid or in a dps set? so HP, pyro, crit, and to get more HP for the buffs, you’d use Rightful Reward.
I think Thundering Fury would be an interesting choice on her for dps. just overload spamming.

Honestly, I wish she wasn’t so niche, might have been worth getting. But alas, gone are the days where we get good 4* units, ESPECIALLY Pyro.
I kinda wish she worked with geo (iirc she’s on navias banner so…) like make pyro/electro crystallize shards give her her overcharge shot and make her pyro/electro shred passive work with geo characters in the party. though maybe not shred geo res as well cause buffing 3 elements as a 4 star seems a bit much
We don’t know which banner she is running on, just that it’s 4.3. She is probably going to run with Yoimya and Raiden.
