角色详细 | 枫丹的律法十分严谨,民风却相对自由。社会内有着大大小小的民间组织,或称帮派,它们起源不一、发展不一、目的不一、风格不一。 比如曾经短暂出现的「帽子水母帮」,这个对外主张保护水域生态环境的组织,其实是由一群爆破爱好者成立的。 和这种组织相比,尽管刺玫会的年轻会长有些过分活泼,但基本上还是一个守法、可靠的好组织。 按照官方的对外说法,刺玫会是一个以民生为本,涉及各行各业,致力于为民众解决疑难问题,在必要时也会与枫丹当局沟通合作的帮会。 如果问娜维娅的话,她会说刺玫会是一个什么人都有,什么忙都帮,在合适的时候说合适的话、开合适的枪的生意伙伴。 两种说法大约都没有错,人们可以选择自己喜欢的那个。只是选择后者的人,可能更容易成为娜维娅的朋友。 |
角色故事1 | 在枫丹,如果有人说自己是看戏剧长大的,就如同说自己是喝水长大的一样,普通到不值一提。 娜维娅也是如此。年幼的她曾无比钟情于舞台上演绎的故事,缠着老爹为她购买剧票,只为坐在台下,与台上的角色共同经历跌宕起伏的一幕又一幕。 但这些感受,在她开始接触刺玫会的事务后变了味道。戏剧的冲突似乎并不比谈判桌上的转折来得多;那些靠妆造表现出的伤痕,她总是能在灰河的居民身上看到。 渐渐地,她不再经常前往歌剧院,而是将时间更多地花在身边的人身上。舞台上的悲剧最抓人眼球,但娜维娅并不想让那样的悲剧在人世间上演。 因立场不同而无法在一起的情侣,要如何让他们摆脱纷争的泥沼?因事故而失去工作能力的中年人,要如何给他一个养家的渠道? 世界上有很多这样的问题,它们不像那些支撑刺玫会运转的核心生意,即便圆满解决了也无法带来任何收益,但娜维娅还是花费了额外的力气去帮。 如果有人嫌她多事,娜维娅就会挺起胸膛反驳。 「怎么能说这些是小事情呢!」她故意用了冠冕堂皇的说辞,让对方不敢再接话,「这是在防止小问题引发大麻烦。而且,只要能让一个人免于站到歌剧院的舞台上,也算是帮了沫芒宫的忙吧?」 在这种时候,娜维娅便不会称自己是大小姐、老板或者别的什么响亮称号,只是热心市民娜维娅。 * 好感等级达到2后开启 |
角色故事2 | 现在以帮人解决麻烦著称的娜维娅,小时候可是最会给自己找麻烦的那个。 卡雷斯会长总是很忙,便拜托刺玫会的成员帮着照顾大小姐。但这个需要被照顾的对象却经常眨眼间便不见,留下随从四处寻觅,最后才在房檐上看到一点礼帽的边缘。等他们紧张地爬上屋顶才发现,那真的只是一顶小小的礼帽而已。 礼帽的主人或许正在秋分山野外快乐玩耍。她的好奇心是如此旺盛,哪怕没有玩伴也可以自己找到快乐。给她一片小水塘,娜维娅就能盯着它看上一天,看鸟儿在浅滩扑着翅膀洗澡,看水底的海獭浮上来仰泳,仅仅如此就能让她高兴很久。作为给她带来快乐的回礼,她会给鸟儿找谷子吃,给海獭送贝壳玩。 有时,她也会自己寻找玩伴。灰河的孩子大多没什么玩具,于是她便和他们一起捉迷藏,拖着丝绸裙摆在管道里匿形。无论输赢与否,她总能比其他小孩收获更多。她从藏身的地方出来,也掏出从角落里捡到的零件、被不知何人遗失的几枚摩拉和一个足有五成新的随身工具盒,然后收获伙伴们佩服的目光。 虽然她总是自己乱跑,但大人们似乎都对她格外宽容(老爹除外)。刺玫会的成员帮她包扎磕伤的膝盖,灰河的阿姨给她缝补扯破的衣角。娜维娅想,我竟然受到这么多人喜欢,心中又变得更加高兴起来。 后来有一次,娜维娅听见邻居的奶奶这样与其他人交谈:「…这孩子只有父亲在,也没时间陪她…她总是一个人在外面逛,看着怪可怜的…」 听到这话的娜维娅心里短暂地不快乐了一会儿。她觉得自己很幸福,父亲很爱她,周围的大人和小孩也喜欢她,那为什么会有人认为她可怜呢? 可能是因为我表达不清,让人产生了误解,这是很不好的,娜维娅想。 于是在那之后,每当小娜维娅感到被爱着的时候,就会大声和对方说:「谢谢你喜欢我,我很开心!」 * 好感等级达到3后开启 |
角色故事3 | 娜维娅把枪和伞融为一体的初衷十分简单:她不想手里拿着太多东西,会影响她做别的事情。 枫丹多雨水,雨过天晴后的太阳又总是毒辣,所以出门一定要带伞。枪对刺玫会的大小姐来说也是必不可少的,没人会觉得枪在娜维娅手中只是装饰吧? 她的枪法算是吃百家饭学来的,她的原则是只要能打中目标就算把枪管架在膨膨兽身上也无所谓。 受过训练、继承了逐影猎人枪术的克洛琳德对此连连摇头,嘴上却做出了肯定的评价:「你能如此乐观地对待战场,我很欣赏。」 娜维娅就当她是在夸自己了。她在刚长成十几岁的大姑娘(自认为)时就认识了克洛琳德,早习惯了她说话的方式。真是恰如其分的赞美!娜维娅想。 乐观的确是不可多得的心理素质,很多人即使刻意培养,也无法习惯用笑容面对生活中的困难,娜维娅却天生就有这样的能力。在她看来,世间的问题不过两种,能解决的和不能解决的。遇到可以消灭的麻烦就立即付诸行动,如果实在没有办法,就转变自己的状态去接受吧。 除了乐观以外,娜维娅觉得包容也是非常有助于改善生活质量的优点。这个优点继承自刺玫会。你看,刺玫会不仅生意范围广,就连成员也形形色色,甚至还有只不知来自何方的玳龟呢! 据说这只玳龟是卡雷斯先生的朋友,名叫康思戈,大意为「参谋」。娜维娅也和它聊过几次。它既有耐心,又很安静,还长寿,是绝佳的倾诉对象。不过在某一天娜维娅对着它絮絮叨叨的时候,夏洛蒂路过并举起了相机,以致于很多人在看过画片后都去烦那只玳龟了。在那之后,娜维娅便很少去找它了。 「也要给其他人与康思戈先生聊天的机会。」娜维娅正色道。 * 好感等级达到4后开启 |
角色故事4 | 大概这世上原本就存在诸多矛盾。 比如娜维娅的父亲卡雷斯。如果刺玫会拥有了更大的号召力,很多工作会更好做,但卡雷斯却固执地拒绝了水道建成后沫芒宫想颁予他的荣誉称号。 再比如,卡雷斯从不向女儿刻意隐瞒刺玫会中的各种事务,对生意场上的技巧他知无不言,常亲自或者派人教她如何使用武器,甚至带她去一些谈判现场,似乎有意培养她成为刺玫会接班人。与此同时,对娜维娅母亲的死因他却讳莫如深,也从不向娜维娅吐露情感。有一段时间,娜维娅想不明白老爹对她到底是亲近还是疏远。 后来,娜维娅渐渐琢磨出一个理论:老爹这样对她,可能是出于保护。他让她多多学习、积累智慧,是希望女儿在未来能够自力更生,不被生活压垮。而他不说压力,不说悲伤,也不谈及克莱门汀的死亡,大约是不想让女儿难过或产生不必要的愧疚,所以哪怕自己十分怀念妻子,也从不和女儿谈心。 至于舍弃荣誉的原因,可能是因为卡雷斯认为刺玫会更多时候是在和普通市民接触,假如人们开始恭敬地称他为「卡雷斯伯爵」,便无形中制造了地位上的隔阂,刺玫会有可能因此失去众人的信任。 以上种种,只是娜维娅自己的推断。 这应该也是娜维娅的矛盾所在,她一向勇敢,在生意场外心直口快,却一直没找父亲确认过这些猜想。 ——老爹,你的那些选择是为了保护我才做的吗?你是否在相信我的同时,又小看了我处理情绪的能力呢? 这些话,她都没有跟父亲讲过。她想,反正时间有的是,等那个老顽固不再那样封闭情感,等她自己也变得更加成熟稳重时,大家再慢慢聊也不迟吧? 时间给了她答案,也教会了她父亲没能教给她的东西。 有些事大约就是这样,无法提前做出准备,事到临头才能现学现卖。就像迈勒斯离开后,她开始自己整理备忘录。 一开始总会有疏忽的地方吧?但没关系,她会学得很快。 * 好感等级达到5后开启 |
角色故事5 | 枫丹是水的国度,自古流传着许多与水有关的故事,比如天上的雨是水龙王的眼泪,陆上大湖汇聚着人类的情感… 前者人们只当是哄小孩子的童谣;而后者,虽然大多数普通人无法求证,却随着「预言」一事逐渐成了人们的情感寄托。 枫丹的灾后重建工作一直在稳步进行,同时娜维娅也发现,有越来越多的人喜欢在水边停留,尤其是白淞镇一带。 接任刺玫会会长后,娜维娅一直是个停不下来的人。但是有一次,当她路过水畔,瞥见自己在水中的倒影,她突然想要给自己一点驻足的时间,就像幼年盯着水塘的时候一样。 娜维娅蹲下身掬起一捧水。水从指缝中渐渐流失,最终只剩手心里的一点。娜维娅没有从这捧水中感受到什么,只想起被雨水冲淡的血迹,和那些海水退去后留下的衣物。 她向来喜欢注视事物光明的一面,也不愿悲伤的情绪传染身边的伙伴,以前很少哭泣。似乎她未流的泪在积攒了漫长的年份后,终于在这时找到了出口。 那些泪被风吹干,并没有落入水泽之中,但娜维娅想,它们应该不会随时间消失。 她的那点眼泪微不足道,但会同世间其他的水一样,在空气中蒸发、凝结,又变成细雨落下,在未来每个潮湿的雨季与她再见。 * 好感等级达到6后开启 |
恰当的时机 | 在娜维娅不用踮脚就能摸到橱柜顶层的时候,卡雷斯给了她一个笔记本。本子里是一些没有日期、没有格式,有些甚至没有标点的文字,出自她的母亲克莱门汀之手。 娜维娅感到惊喜,但随着不断地阅读,心底却生出烦闷。 这是母亲的随笔,从她与卡雷斯一同拜访露景泉写起。似乎在他们决定养育一个孩子开始,母亲就会经常想起娜维娅。当她看到金色的向阳花,便会想象孩子头发的颜色;当她看到清澈的湖水,就会想象孩子眼中的光。 她将那些期盼与祝愿也一一记下:希望我们的孩子拥有诸多美好的品质,尝试世间种种美食与冒险,收获各式各样的幸福与快乐。 这不是娜维娅第一次阅读母亲留下的记录,但却是她最开心又最生气的一次:为什么老爹到现在才把这个给她?! 但这种气愤并没有持续多久。薄薄一本笔记很快阅读到底,结尾是非常简洁的一句话。 「虽然写的都是孩子的事情,但说到底,这些只是我自己的愿望吧。」 或许是因为血脉相连,娜维娅马上明白了这句话的意思。母亲并不希望自己的愿望成为孩子成长过程中的负担;而在娜维娅已经按照自己的意愿长大成人后,老爹才将这本笔记交予她手中。 这一天,娜维娅难得没有出门活动,在自己的房间里待了很久,也难得赞同了老爹这次的独断专行。 也许本来,母亲是想亲自将这本笔记交给长大后的她吧…在最为恰当的时机。 * 好感等级达到4后开启 |

I plan on at least pulling for her, and the current teams I’m thinking of is, a Noelle Navia Furina Yelan team (quick swap between Noelle and Navia). the problem is weapon I was thinking of giving her is Unforged (I don’t even know why I have it), which only really works for on field Navia (ult -> E -> N1 might full stack while still on field actually? then swap back for 2nd E with passive?, which means like E->Q->2N noelle and swap back so the passive doesn’t go away?), and maybe a 2nd team with on field Navia which would be Navia Zhongli + 2 fill. the new artifact set is my best bet isn’t it :(. GT will be fine? and hunter won’t work as the onfield team is without Furina, and I guess I could farm petra, but IIRC it doesnt’ work unless I have Yelan pick up the cristalize’s which isn’t gonna happen. Am I stuck with Overlord and echoing woods? Is sac better? or should I take thresher R3 off Noelle (don’t ask), would that legit be better for the 88% crit damage (and Noelle gets Fav)? I only have 113 pulls so no I’m not going for Verdict
I can’t decide if I want to go for Navia C1 or C0 and her weapon. C1 means I give her Sac GS R5 and never have to worry about energy at all bc she’ll have 3 charges of her E and generate up to 27 energy on top of whatever her skill normally generates, but I’d have to build all the damage on her artifacts myself. If I went for her weapon that’s 22% CR I don’t have to worry about on top of one of the strongest claymores in the game so I can easily output a lot of damage, but I would then have to balance ER when artifact farming. …typing it out helped. I’m not super into meta hunting so I’m going for ease of use with her C1.
Verdict (Navia’s signature) will be paired with Ayaka’s signature Mistsplitter Reforged. The latter being one of the best swords in the game.
Because of this, I would strongly consider gambling on the weapon banner because I think Verdict is more valuable as an upgrade compared to Navia’s C1, and if Mistsplitter is pulled it can be given to almost any sword user and they will be able to make good use out of it.
Navia is now a week away from release. While I was hesitant before, now I feel that she will indisputably be the best Geo Main DPS in the game upon her release. I still have a lot of questions on how the damage on her skill is calculated and we probably won’t find out for sure until she is officially released. But the damage it can do is likely to be quite high.
Despite being Geo being the worst element in the game, Navia’s raw damage may be high enough that she could be considered a top tier character. I personally consider 5 characters to be top tier main DPS units, in this order: Neuvillette, Alhaitham, Hu Tao, Ayaka, and C2 Raiden Shogun. Navia is probably either slightly better or slightly worse than C2 Raiden, depending on how Navia’s elemental skill damage is calculated.
I also heard discussion about Navia being a good sub DPS when using the Archaic Petra set. The main issue I have with Navia as a sub DPS is that enabling or setting up for reactions is a important function of an sub DPS (even more than simply raw damage). Crystalize is a bad reaction and I don’t think Navia’s raw damage is able to make up for it in a Sub DPS role. The elemental bonus from the Archaic Petra is nice, but the elemental resist shred from Anemo units using VV is much more valuable in terms of minimizing diminishing returns. Navia also doesn’t offer any form of support for her teammates (outside of Geo resistance shred on her C4).
The only character that I think could make good use of Navia as a Sub DPS is Neuvillette since he needs elemental reactions primary to boost his enhanced charged attack directly. The elemental reactions themselves are not as important. Navia’s burst will make it easy for her to trigger crystalize off field and she can use her hold skill to suck the shards in, giving Neuvillette a quick Draconic stack and hydro elemental damage boost from the Petra set.
It will be fun to see how players make use out of Navia when she releases next week.

I expect Navia to replace Itto as the best Geo Main DPS upon her release. Navia’s biggest advantage is team flexibility, since she only needs to be paired with one other Geo Unit (and she could use several for that role, including Geo Traveler, who I feel is 2nd only to Zhong Li for that spot) to unlock Geo Resonance. Her other two teammates just need to be a pyro, cryo, electro or hydro unit so Navia can get her free 40% damage damage bonus. Itto needs to be paired with Gorou, and works best in Triple or Quad geo teams.
Navia being attack scaling means she can take better advantage of all of the ways to buff the attack stat (Bennett, Thrilling Tales, etc.) and her more front loaded damage will likely be more useful in general compared to Itto’s more sustained damage.
Itto is still a great main DPS unit, and I think for anyone who already has a well invested Itto (or Noelle for that matter) doesn’t really need to pull for Navia (it would be better to go for main DPS of a different element). The gap isn’t as big between Itto and Navia as it is for example Hu Tao and Diluc.
However for anyone who does not have Itto, Navia will likely end up being the superior choice to pull and develop, as a geo main dps.

Not only Hoyo didnt add muscles to itto. He lost his best Geo DPS when Navia gets released.
It’s good to see some optimism towards Navia. When considering geo main dps, we cannot overlook the elephant in the room.. Itto. However Itto is forever stuck with Gorou, so you take up 2 slots just to play him. That aside, we can consider Navia as the best unrestricted geo main dps, since she can run as a solo geo with other elements.
Geo resonance is also the strongest party buff to have on a team, and Navia will receive the most of it. An option for geo resonance is the mono geo comp with Itto as the core. Double geo teams are really under represented, with current options Zhongli-Albedo with highest usage. However Albedo has a fatal flaw of doing no dmg against pure shields. Thus Navia is expected to perform very well in this niche, which is flexible to take 2 other elements.

Oh, also should mention that I forgot about Song of Broken Pines and Calamity Queller – Navia’s weapon will be tied for second highest base attack, not highest.
And that is important because…? A lot of weapons have the same base atk as her sig weapon. After all, there are only 4 different possibilities for base attack on a 5* weapon.
Lmao people think this is weak? Do y’all not do math? That elemental skill with 6 stacks is a 2060.856% Atk ratio on a 9 second cooldown, and it has 2 charges. Even with only 3 stacks it’s a 1421% Atk ratio. For reference, the initial damage from Raiden Shogun’s burst with 60 stacks is 1141%. Navia gets CD substat and 40% Attack passive. She will surpass Xiao as the highest base attack stat character in the game. Add in her weapon, and that’s a CR substat + tied for the highest base attack weapons in the game, with a passive that gives another 20% attack and 36% skill damage bonus for an easily maintainable condition.
She’s not gonna change the way crystallize works, and Geo is still going to suffer from being the only element that doesn’t have offense-based reactions – but even with that, her kit is set up to hit like a fucking truck. If you wanna complain about them not actually fixing Geo, by all means go ahead, but Navia’s kit in itself is very strong.
Comparing her to Dehya is especially laughable when Dehya’s E collectively only does about ~900% Atk on a 20s cooldown with no offensive buffs outside her weapon
Yep Navia kit is very strong. But people focus too much on team synergy and pulling for characters that would boost their main char.
Are you sure the 45% dmg bonus applies after the dmg bonus from the shards, and not to its base dmg? The latter would make more sense, but I haven’t read any TC about it.
I can’t guarantee anything before testing with how bad they are at consistent phrasing and distinguishing different forms of damage increase. I am assuming the part about it doing 200% damage at 11 shots to mean that the base damage is initially inflicted by the first shot while subsequent shots on the same target apply an additional 10% of the base damage. Even in this regard their phrasing is weird since it doesn’t clarify that subsequent shots do less damage and in fact makes it sound like they should do more, but this is the only way it makes sense since otherwise she would be doing 7800%+ with 11 shots and that would be beyond absurd. So I’m just taking the simplest part and going by 200% of 710% for 1420% in that regard.
Now one possibility I’m realizing is that the multiple shots may not actually do multiple instances of damage and are actually just for flavor as a damage enhancement, but that would make the description pretty dumb – Like, why tell us it’s firing off 11 shots instead of 5 if that’s just a way of applying a damage boost, but then tell us that stacks past 3 apply a damage boost instead of additional shots? And the statement of “multiple shots that hit the same target” implies it’s possible for some hits to land and not others, which wouldn’t align with the idea that it’s all one instance of damage. Ofc, bad skill descriptions would be nothing new, so I won’t be surprised if I’m wrong – but for now I can only assume according to what it says.
If it actually is multiple instances of damage then the 45% should for sure apply to the whole thing, since it’s simply a damage boost whereas the 1420% would essentially be its own base damage value spread across 11 shots. But if it’s 45% on top of 100% from shots, then you’re looking at 1740% for 6 stacks which is still strong. The worst case scenario is that the 45% damage increase is actually a damage boost that stacks additively with elemental skill bonus, geo bonus, etc but I definitely don’t think that’s the case with the phrasing here. If anyone has specific info to confirm or deny anything from what I said I’d love to know so I can tighten the calcs a bit, but this skill is already strong under a worst case scenario. My only other concern is how consistently she’ll be able to make all 11 shots land if that’s a potential issue.

Nice smartass comment but I checked Zajeff77 and he literally said he’s not sure how the additional shots work either, he has no idea if it’s 100% base damage for 1 shot and 10% damage for subsequent shots or 100% damage for 5 shots and 16.67% for the remaining 6, and he also didn’t comment on if the 15% per additional stack would be additive to the total or multiplicative. So all we have is speculation within a certain range of effectiveness. Thanks for putting me onto a good content creator tho, he seems to like doing the same types of damage calc theorizing I’m into. And it’s even funnier that you’d call me an idiot for my comment and then recommend a youtuber who said the same thing I did, which is that the skill does big damage.
Anyway, I’m coming back to this now to say it’s possible the additional shots aren’t considered to be additional/separate instances of damage which I hadn’t considered before, in which case the 45% could be stacking additively with the 100% increase to damage, i.e. 200%*+ 45% = 245% damage total instead of 200%*1.45 = 290% damage total. That would seem a bit odd to me since the possibility of the shots missing would indicate to me that they apply separately and only the first one does full damage, but I can’t pretend to know exactly how it works until we at least see a clip with damage numbers. It’s entirely possible that it calculates how many shots hit each target altogether before it applies any damage.
Either way this changes very little. If it’s 245% damage total at max stacks, that’s 1740% Atk ratio instead of 2060% which does not drastically change my original point of the damage ratio being REALLY high for a 9 second cooldown on a character with a solid array of damage buffs/stats.
Great news: She’s out now and I was right. It’s 45% of 200% for a total of 290% base damage.
Haven’t invested in her yet, removed most artifacts for easy damage testing.

1 hit = 4440
2 hits = 4662, 105% base damage
3 hits = 4884, 110% base damage
4 hits = 5106, 115% base damage
5 hits = 5328, 120% base damage
1 shot does 100% base damage, shots 2-5 add exactly 5% base damage each
1 charge:
7 hits = 6216, 140% base damage, 20% base damage advantage over 5 hits
Shots 6-7 likely add exactly 10% base damage each
2 charges:
9 hits = 7397, 166.6% base damage, 26.66% base damage advantage over 7 hits
Shots 8-9 either add different values, or add 13.33% each
3 charges:
10 hits = 8506, 1.91576577% base damage
11 shots = 8880, 200% base damage
I only saw the 10-shot value once during testing because it’s very difficult to land exactly 10 shots so it may be unreliable, but if accurate, the intent is likely to make the 3rd charge have a noticeable difference while not requiring you to land EVERY hit to feel that difference
6 charges:
11 shots = 12876, 290% base damage
So with a level 10 skill, at 6 stacks she will do about 2060% damage.
Even Zajef is coping on sacrificial greatsword. Navia’s kit has so many variables with the charges and playstyle that sheet dps is hardly applicable to actual dmg. He even openly admits he might be wrong on many fronts when she gets released.
When 2 gunbrella shots with 6 charges has the same MV as Ayaka’s burst, which is pretty consistant in an 18s normal rotation..
Downside of her being a geo is it can not be swirled/no support that does similar like kazuha/anemo vv wielders for other elements, it also has no dmg amplifying reactions like melt/vape/dendro.
Although, geo resonance being like 2nd best resonance in the game and it gives a geo res shred. Combined with Zhongli and you got as much geo res shred as VV can provide. Some other reactions dont get dmg amplification either like burgeon, freeze, overloaded, or electro charged. Yet taser is good, primarily being carried by VV and use of anemo unit for getting as much AoE out of it as possible.
Possible upside is its effectiveness on element applied enemies so Thundersoothers, Lavawalkers, and Blizzard Strayer still lets geo get a kick out of it since it is hardly capable of stripping away those elemental auras when your pyro, cryo, or electro characters apply a ton of their element.
Outside of mono-elemental teams, Thundersoothers and Lavawalkers would just be viable for burning, aggravate, and double geo in respect to applicable artifact set. Reason why double geo is because geo is handicapped on triggering elemental reactions against pyro due to the fixed global 1s ICD on crystallized, thus a pyro or electro aura stays on those enemies. Where Lavawalker falls short is when the pyro characters can freely vape, melt, or overload. Where Thundersoothers fall short is when electro characters can freely electro charge, superconduct, or aggravate, plus a crystallized shard corresponding to enemy element turns that shard durable since 250% effectiveness is at play.
I’d think that a character and team archetype in favor of thundersoothers or Lavawalkers would favor either geo or anemo. A burning team archetype would find geo a lot more favorable since pyro crystallized shield will absorb burning damage quite effectively.
That is an interesting point about Thundersoothers and Lavawalkers. It’s true that consistent elemental application without causing any reaction would benefit geo. The problem is that most players who want to maximize their damage, will always consider what kind of reactions they can reliably cause. That’s part of the reason why people think Dehya is so bad. She doesn’t have access to melt or vape reliably. The only thing she can do is Burning or Overload, which generally aren’t seen as being very good (though overload may change with Chevy being added). Same goes for Electro as well. They pretty much have to be able to function in some sort of dendro reaction or taser. Overload and Superconduct are the odd ones out in this case.
The point is that reactions that either boost your damage or cause some kind of supplemental damage will always be better. Geo doesn’t have access to anything like that so they must rely on the strength of their kit alone. Personally I think they either need to add different reactions for geo, like Geo+Pyro= an exploding rock or Geo+Cryo= an iceberg that deals more damage when shattered or change the way crystallize behaves to add some kind of damage part to it. As it stands, every element has multiple interactions with other elements. The only reason anemo is good is because of VV. Nobody would bother with anemo if that set wasn’t in the game. I would never run a double geo team with another element if it meant that I was losing damage by not having access to vape or melt or aggravate or whatever.
On situations where Kazuha fails (Forced to swirl the element of an abyss shielder), the Geo teams will thrive. Always has been the advantage of Zhongli Geo teams since his release.
Navia will be plenty strong but its up in the air until release how her skill dmg is calculated with the doubled original damage. It’s likely that the original damage is evaluated as the total damage originally from all the shots, and the dmg dealt when being 200% of original is based off that original amount.
It’s suggested that the rosula shardshots aren’t calculated individually but uses a hitscan technique to calculate how many hits the opponent to calculate the full damage.
She will definitely not be Dehya level. Several people have done C0 calcs and it looks like she’ll do 350k to 400k within a Bennett team. Possibly 420k in Bennett-Furina teams.
Nevertheless, she will be the most flexible geo dps we have. You could say the same for Noelle, but Noelle’s archetypes aren’t as various since it’s either hyperbloom, Wet rock w/ Furina, mono hydro, or mono geo with Furina; yet Navia can be solo geo in several teams, be a hypercarry, be the second geo in Wet Rock, play in Naviational, Navia-Furinational, double cryo, double electro, double hydro, double pyro, etc. Despite how poor crystallized is as a reaction, just being non-def scaler makes Navia more flexible since def buffs are limited to Gorou. Navia could really settle for a flexible number of teams and her geo teammates are flexible as well: Geo Traveler, Zhongli, Ningguang, Albedo, Noelle.
