4. My little child is totally overvalued for the classic toxic community’s hype.
   She’ very good and I can sign this contract, but she can’t be compared to xilonen or kazu, and always for the same fucking reason.
   First of all 55% shred is big, but it’s only that. Kazu and VV offers 40, but plus elemental bonus, which is already more than that previous 55%. Same thing for Xilonen and CC set.
   But Augustine is for hydro-cryo only, while the other 2 are for everything. And Xilonen+kazu have a fantastic synergy. While Escoiffie + other two loses EVERYTHING, and her kit has nothing besides that to promote freeze teams.
   So if you have a brain try to use it prior shit talking.

   Besides that, she remains a good chara, not broken at all because too niche, but very nice and to me she deserves a pull. But don’t shit talk about how broken she is because she’s not, and not more than perfume lady (who is dendro, a much better element)

       Get Charlotte, she heals as well and she can wield OP catalyst TToDS
       plus, if you want damage:
       1) you also want ER, which lowers her damage
       2) you want her sig, because apart from that she’s not that great. She’s ok, but check on aspirine calculator, you won’t see anything spectacular; so don’t cry after asking why she sucks
       3) you want full GT set, which you need to farm if you don’t have it already.

       = take an average build, give her ER sands, give her a 4star weapons, and her damage is nothing wroth mentioning.
       And still, this is for FREEZE ONLY

       • i think she’s more of a combination to use along with Furina ( plus healer like Charlotte ) and also giving Res Shred, it seems to be very tailored to Skirk

   • It’s mostly the lack of damage options in cryo and the drought of offield dpses that she is getting the hype.

     Is mostly Furina having another option to allow freeze teams to get more damage… and yet another option for hydro damage buffs.

     But freeze will still suck against what’s hard in this game, bosses.

     And there is an interesting problem, when freeze works you won’t need a healer, you want someone to gather enemies so you can aoe them down which you will not find in hydro and cryo characters while only her burst hits in aoe, when freeze doesn’t work the BS set is just as useless in her teams, losing more than 55% crit rate since hydro damage will overtake the aura and remove the cryo resonance.

     At that point you might as well just use mono cryo (which to my understanding still gets her 55% res shred) and the only thing that might be a nice addition. Or “mono” hydro teams with her as a Xilonen “competition” (55% res, heals and ST damage vs 38% res, heals and 40% damage increase)

     Genshin devs have a record of not giving too much defense utility and damage at the same time, so let’s see how she ends up after beta, freeze will pretty much remain a bad reaction for bosses regardless of Escoffier presence.

     • in freeze teams you use furina so you need healing.
       the upcoming boss is freezable and also the chenyu vale boss, maybe soon more.

       like you said just use mono cryo/hydro if the boss is not freezable.
       or use her as a neuvillette buff.

     • why are you trashing on someone for not liking the region of insanity. natlan introduced a very wild effect/environment to a relatively calm and modest genshin. kinda like how chevruse was the first gun character. it’s ok to like natlan more than other regions but not ok to put down people who like other regions like fontaine. fontaine was truly unique and excellent down to the details of lore, story, and characters like furina. please be nice. this was very sad to see. you need to do better
