| Informazioni sul personaggio | Neuvillette è un tipo solitario. Gli abitanti di Fontaine che hanno tentato di avvicinarsi a lui sono stati tutti educatamente allontanati. A oggi, nessuno conosce il suo vero nome, in quanto ha sempre chiesto di essere chiamato per cognome. Crede che i legami personali stretti inducano sospetti riguardo all'obiettività delle sue sentenze, mentre egli deve rimanere un simbolo di giustizia assoluta. Com'è ovvio, certe persone non demordono facilmente, e gli rivolgono parole come: "Suvvia, Messire Neuvillette, non tutti devono sostenere un processo, né lei è costretto a restare sempre seduto sulla sua scranna". Ma è davvero così? Anche se esistesse una risposta nel suo cuore, Neuvillette non la condividerebbe con nessuno. Col passare del tempo, qualsiasi fiume prima o poi esonda. Tutti gli abitanti di Fontaine sono colpevoli, e su ognuno di loro incombe la certezza di un giudizio e di una sorte avversa... e non si tratta di una metafora, né tantomeno di retorica. Eppure, Neuvillette non può rivelare questi pensieri ad anima viva. È un individuo estremamente solo. |
| Storia del personaggio (1) | Neuvillette non è rinomato per i suoi desideri personali. Quando non svolge il suo lavoro di Giudice supremo, i membri del pubblico e i giornalisti più curiosi non fanno che cercarlo in lungo e in largo per tutta Fontaine. Non importa che venga invitato a uno spettacolo, che compaia lungo la riva appena prima che cominci a piovere o che indugi nell'ombra proiettata dal sole pomeridiano: qualcuno che tenta di avvicinarsi a lui non manca mai. Un tempo tutti erano convinti che fosse una specie di demone il cui unico scopo fosse processare e giudicare, convinzione che egli chiarì con la seguente affermazione: "Benché sia onorato di ricoprire il ruolo di Iudex, non sono assolutamente un patito di processi. Quella dello Iudex è semplicemente una delle vesti che indosso, nonché una mera fase della mia vita". Questo chiarimento lo catapultò dalla proverbiale padella alla proverbiale brace, dando adito a nuove dicerie: "Notizia sconvolgente! Neuvillette afferma che lo 'Iudex' è un 'trampolino di lancio'! Aspirazioni professionali o colossale ambizione?" Neuvillette ignorò queste dicerie... O forse erano la verità, e non le aveva smentite per una questione di principio? Nessuno lo sa. Neuvillette non è nemmeno un grande bevitore, né un amante della Fonta. Certo, non è mai stato noto neanche per aver elargito lodi sperticate ai piatti dei più rinomati chef locali. Questi fattori portarono la gente a sospettare che la sua carenza di desiderio consumistico potesse dipendere semplicemente da una totale mancanza del senso del gusto. Di tutta risposta, organizzò un evento di degustazione d'acqua, durante il quale tutti rimasero sbalorditi dall'ampia varietà di sapori che l'acqua proveniente da regioni diverse potesse avere, e spiazzati dai gusti estremamente raffinati dello Iudex. Naturalmente il livello di autenticità di queste interazioni rimane tuttora ignoto. | Storia del personaggio (2) | Neuvillette è una persona giusta. Se non fosse per questa qualità, non sarebbe stato il candidato ideale per il ruolo di Iudex. Per i bambini, il lavoro di giudice consiste semplicemente nell'indossare una parrucca, mantenere l'ordine in tribunale ed essere il messaggero dell'Oratrice. In realtà, però, ci sono molte faccende di natura amministrativa di cui deve occuparsi in privato per mantenere in funzione il sistema giudiziario. A causa di alcune tradizioni di Fontaine, lo Iudex ha anche il diritto di perseguire i criminali, oltre che il potere di applicare personalmente le leggi. Inizialmente l'idea era di rendere più facile l'ordine pubblico in periodi di caos, ma, con l'affinarsi del sistema, questa regola che rappresentava molto più lo spirito pioneristico che quello legale, venne conservata solo in forma simbolica. Quando lo Iudex indaga su un caso o agisce in qualità di pubblico ministero, deve rinunciare al ruolo di giudice e chiedere a qualcun altro di sostituirlo. Durante le poche occasioni in cui ha svolto indagini personalmente, Neuvillette ha seguito questa regola senza alcun problema. Una cosa da notare è che Neuvilette è l'unico Iudex di queste terre da molto tempo, al punto che le persone ipotizzano che la grazia divina gli abbia donato una vita incredibilmente lunga. Pertanto, è un bene che abbia una mentalità così giusta ed equa, o un termine così esteso avrebbe sicuramente causato problemi. Riguardo alla possibilità che sia un famiglio dell'Archon di Hydro, o magari una misteriosa creatura elementale di Hydro, ci sono molte opinioni, ma Neuvillette non si è mai espresso al riguardo. | Storia del personaggio (3) | Per tutta una serie di ragioni, i codici legali di Fontaine racchiudono un gran numero di articoli alquanto bislacchi. Neuvillette stesso ha contribuito con questo comma: "Ogni Melusina va considerata come una persona, non come una creatura animale o un oggetto inanimato". Di primo acchito potrebbe sembrare una legge alquanto strana, ma è sufficiente soffermarcisi per qualche istante per capire che c'è un motivo se è stata messa nero su bianco. Le Melusine sono apparse a Fontaine in tempi relativamente recenti, dopotutto, e garantire loro pari diritti era un segnale importante da dare. In effetti, i fontainiani hanno sempre notato una certa disparità nel calore che Neuvillette esprime nei confronti delle Melusine rispetto a quello che rivolge agli esseri umani. Molti lo considerano come semplice amore paterno che egli ha sviluppato grazie alla sua bontà d'animo. Stranamente, però, basta conoscere qualcosa in più su Neuvillette per accorgersi di come la questione assuma connotati progressivamente più bizzarri. Essendo il Drago di Hydro, Neuvillette considera le Melusine come i suoi subordinati e successori, nonché l'esempio migliore di una nuova specie di Elementosauro di Hydro. Eppure, Neuvillette è anche il distruttore dell'ordine stabilito, colui che giudicherà tutti gli dèi, nonché l'oppositore della razza umana. Per quale motivo, quindi, ha scelto di dare alle Melusine diritti pari a quelli degli umani? Tu sei stata l'unica(stato l'unico) ad aver avuto l'occasione di chiederglielo, e questa è stata la sua risposta: "Non dipendeva da me. | Storia del personaggio (4) | Neuvillette ha sempre preferito le giornate uggiose a quelle soleggiate, perché l'umidità nell'aria lo rilassa. Tuttavia, è passato molto tempo dall'ultima volta che si è dilettato sotto la pioggia cadente. Sembra che, da quando ha scelto d'intraprendere il suo cammino a Fontaine, abbia iniziato a recitare il ruolo di una persona normale e rispettosa della legge. Ovviamente la gente comune non camminerebbe mai nella pioggia senza ombrello, perché gli si inzupperebbero i capelli. Vale la pena di ricordare che il ruolo di Giudice supremo è tanto il vero sé stesso quanto il Drago di Hydro è la sua essenza. Quello di "umano comune", invece, è un ruolo che deve impegnarsi a interpretare. Fu nella solitudine e nel senso di colpa che gli umani crearono un dio che li giudicasse tutti, così come nell'avidità e nello stesso senso di colpa diedero vita a un dio che li salvasse tutti. E, in assenza di quel dio, tocca a Neuvillette soddisfare quelle aspettative. Egli ha graziato l'umanità e riacquistato la sua forma originale. Ora può finalmente camminare sotto la pioggia e trarne soddisfazione. Ed è esattamente ciò che ha fatto: in piedi sotto la pioggia, ha guardato in lontananza ricordando un giorno di tanto tempo fa in cui aveva ricevuto quella lettera. Sì, una lettera aveva trovato il modo di arrivare a lui per vie sconosciute. Il nome del destinatario era stato lasciato in bianco, e il testo si rivolgeva a lui con uno informalissimo "tu". Un "tu" speciale. Un "tu" unico. Neuvillette non era contrario alla cosa, ma nemmeno l'approvava. Sentiva vagamente che il potere costituito di questo mondo non aveva diritto di giudicarlo a quel modo. Sapeva che quella lettera l'aveva scritta l'Archon Focalors, la quale lo invitava a visitare Fontaine, affermando: "Posso assegnarti un posto con la vista migliore nel più grande dei teatri". Tempo dopo avrebbe ricevuto davvero quel posto, al centro della prima fila nell'Opéra Épiclèse, sull'isola conosciuta come Érinnyes. Da lì avrebbe guardato ogni tipo di spettacolo, e la vista era davvero fenomenale, proprio come aveva promesso Focalors. Quel che avvenne in seguito non fu reso di dominio pubblico. Con ogni probabilità, la gente non aveva modo di capire cosa significasse la distruzione del trono, o come il potere dell'acqua si fosse completamente ripristinato nel suo possessore originale. Per quanto riguarda il loro perdono, e sul perché dovessero essere perdonati, era una storia ancora più ampia e complessa. Così calò il sipario, e Fontaine assistette al lieto fine della più grande tragedia della storia. Oppure no? Un lieto fine, tutto qui. Fu allora che Neuvillette comprese che il "posto" menzionato nella lettera non era un semplice sedile in un teatro. Focalors, o meglio Furina, aveva rinunciato al suo posto nel pubblico ed era salita sul palco da sola per divenire l'eroina di quella tragedia. Il numero dei posti era limitato, per cui quando se ne liberava uno, questo veniva occupato subito. Quella lettera era un invito, ed era stato scritto con diversi secoli di anticipo. | Storia del personaggio (5) | Un individuo eccezionale come lui non ha bisogno di una costellazione che lo faccia brillare. Dopotutto, il "fato" è semplicemente un modo in cui l'attuale padrone di questo mondo gioca con gli esseri viventi. Ora che ha rivendicato una delle Sette Autorità sul regno dei mortali, e ha riforgiato il trono e il titolo di "drago" riacquistando la sua piena forma, è abbastanza forte da eguagliare e rivaleggiare con il "regno degli umani". Inoltre, a rigor di logica, non ha la necessità di sottostare a questo sistema chiamato "fato". Nel cielo del destino, egli può vedere quante stelle si confrontano l'una con l'altra, creando un mondo complicato e fragile. Inizialmente non gli importava molto, poiché i fili dei burattini interpretati come "regole divine" un giorno sarebbero stati bruciati dalle fiamme del giudizio. Ma anch'egli venne coinvolto da una certa gradevole retorica. "In questo caso, perché non ti limiti a vegliare sugli abitanti di Fontaine? Oltre al comando del potere di Hydro, il Drago di Hydro comandava anche il mare, la fonte della vita. Prima che qualsiasi creatura esterna prendesse forma, tutti gli organismi del pianeta avevano la loro origine nel Mare primordiale. please don’t spend money on the first days of this guy’s banner or in the anniversary day, we finally have an opportunity to scare hoyo with how low their sales have been going to the point they might start listening to the playerbase, you can spend money after a week but please hold yourself for the first days, you aren’t really gonna miss much, spend your saved primos if you want, but please, do not spend money on the first days of this and hu tao’s banner.

I know it’s not exactly the same and might not seem as much on the first glance, but I’ve seen many people have claimed that apps like that help them with their addictions and have successfully been able to stop spending too much on the game.
Friendly reminder that this is a gacha, it’s not friendly towards you and never will be, it not only predates on people that already have a background of gambling addiction, it also wants to manipulate and turn new people into addicts as well, remember to be careful when spending.

Games as a service usually close when the playerbase goes down, not when sales go down, the playerbase keeps growing but people have been spending less and less due to the many bad decisions Hoyo has done, I’m 100% certain they won’t just simply close the game when it’s still their most played game, they will come up with something to get revenue from said big playerbase a.k.a. improvements for the playerbase.
Do you really think employees read this English speaking site or care about a silly hashtag? Genshin makes Mihoyo a ton of money, they’re not going to shut down the game cause their feelings are hurt. They also have investors and higher ups to satisfy. This isn’t a small indie game, this is a live service Gacha game.

I genuinely don’t know how anyone can play the archon quest where he refers to “humans” as being separate from him, have rain start immediately after he has an argument with navia (freminet brings up the legend of it raining whenever the hydro dragon cries), then look at his kit which literally has a stacking effect called “draconic glories” and not conclude he’s the hydro dragon, thus not needing a vision to use hydro
and there’s the fact he says doesn’t know why he has a human form in teaser trailer. He seems to be acutely aware that he is a dragon.

the last 3 months HRS has been losing players in big numbers, 11%,14% and 5% of his player base, genshin lost 3% but the past months GAINED 1% and 2%, and throughout the history of the game, genshin has never loss more than 3% and at the end always stay pretty much the same, gaining and lossing here and there….the months new game lossing players like crazy, why do you all think they pump content like crazy and give a lot of reward? player retention, and i dont mind i play both games and currently i play more HRS and even can say i like more HRS but ¿genshin daying? genshin is a colosal titan it wont die, just because you have a “feeling” or “in my list of friend a lot of people dont play anymore” doesnt mean nothing, as for SoUrCeS just search HRS and genshin active players is not that hard and the good sources are there
first of all you are just as bad as the ppl who claim that genshin dies. seeing the current player numbers on twitch h:sr currently has a really high viewercount (more than 3x of genshin’s) and genshin is lower than usual but since it’s the end of 4.0 and the second half didn’t introduced sth new genshin currently has a content drought whereas h:sr released fu xuan in the second half of 1.3 and swarm desaster is also very fresh and makes a lot of fun. when 4.1 drops ppl switch back from h:sr to genshin. genshin and h:sr have no real endcontent and new content is what keeps ppl busy. if no content -> lower playercount -> games look dead.
I’m pretty sure both have stable numbers and h:sr numbers (since it’s still a new game) has to settle a bit but I’m sure you didn’t used average numbers and just used a number from a specific date so this numbers don’t say anything anyways.
i didnt include that because in the event of twitch streaming hsr have a infestation of bots, and to be fair hsr win in sales (but because the current banners of genshin are yuk), and no its not of a specific date, look at the end of my comment, the last 3 month hsr has been lossing people, here are the numbers:

I mean all the hate is there for a reason. I’ve been playing the game since launch pretty consistently saving primos or just buying primos whenever some cool character came out. I really enjoy the aesthetics, character design, voice acting etc but that doesn’t last long. There is no incentive to play the game! I’ve 100% mondstad and liyue exploration when the game came out, gathered all anemoculus and geoculus did all the archon quests and minmaxed my favorite units. Exploration and gathering feel like a chore now, I’ve farmed so many artifacts and books and bosses just to log in 10 min a day and twice a month 30 minutes. And about 2h when there is a new patch once every 6 weeks or so.
same here, the latest patches have been really boring, I laughed so hard in 4.0 livestream when they were talking about QoL and said “we’re focused on the issues players are most concerned about” then started showing off TCG and party screen updates, like sure I guess they’re cool for those who like it, but I doubt that’s what people are really concerned about. The layered map was slightly good, would’ve been better if they added it months ago when they added it to hoyolab, but of course they holded it back and waited until 4.0 to actually implement it ingame.
with how disappointing things have been lately they really prompted me to stop being a lurker and i started sharing my thoughts on sites like this, though the intent isn’t that of hating, but of criticism. I have always given my thoughts on hoyo’s surveys, but it’s pretty clear they aren’t ever taken into account.

Honestly I’ve noticed that too, I’ve been playing Genshin since launch and I’ve never tired of just running around gathering stuff.
Doing Boss night with my friends, doing resin stuff with them as well. We have a friend who is lagging a bit in resources for characters so we help them gather local specialties and laugh and debate lore together.
We’re all in it for the long haul but unfortunately you cannot please everyone. The people who complain will complain as if they speak for the entirety of the Genshin community and they definitely don’t. They’re just the loudest voices, there is still plenty of people who really just enjoy the game, try not to let the negativity get to you. It’ll suck the joy for the game right out.

I’m the same. I collect the material collection of the game, which was the incentive that brought me into the game in the first place, as a material gathering enjoyer from Monster Hunter.
The more fun things that I’ve been doing is catching up on unfinished world quests, but achievement hunting has been one. Apparently, a ton of them are hidden behind hidden exploration objectives. Right now, I’m at 755 achievements outstanding. This is gonna be a slow process because a ton of these achievement quest objectives are realtime-gated.
And Fontaine is quite enjoyable. The world quests are 100% top notch. The melusine quests are big lore bombs, and man, Hoyo really ought to consider having voiced world quests. Would be a banger to play Narzissenkreuz adventure or other fontaine quests with it.
