Item Story
สิ่งที่ถูกเรียกว่านางินาตะนั้น คืออาวุธอันแหลมคมที่สามารถตัดสิ่งปลอมปนให้ขาดสะบั้น ผู้ที่ถือนางินาตะ ก็คือผู้ที่ต้องการจะปกป้องเส้นทางสู่ความเป็นนิรันดร์ เมื่อผู้ที่ยืนอยู่เหนือเมฆฝนฟ้าคะนอง จ้องมองดูโลกมนุษย์ที่เธอรัก มองเห็นความขัดแย้งอันตื้นเขิน และความลุ่มหลงเพียงชั่วครู่... การต่อสู้ที่เกิดขึ้นจากความผูกพันและความลุ่มหลงที่ไม่จำเป็น คือศัตรูของโลกแห่งความนิรันดร์ เหล่าวัชพืชที่ก่อกวนโลกแห่งความนิรันดร์ที่ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง จะต้องถูกสายฟ้าทำลายสิ้น "ถ้าอย่างนั้น... ในสายตาของ███ จะสะท้อนความเป็นนิรันดร์แบบไหนกันนะ?" ภายในความทรงจำที่ยังคงกระจ่างแจ้งชัดเจน เทพตนหนึ่งซึ่งร่วมดื่มสุราด้วยกันใต้ต้นซากุระ ยกแก้วขึ้นมาและถามขึ้นว่า... เป็นปัญหาที่ไร้สาระอะไรอย่างนี้ ถึงแม้ว่าคำตอบที่ให้ไปในตอนนั้น จะถูกลืมเลือนไปเพราะเหล้าแล้วก็ตาม แต่ตอนนี้ผู้ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยความอ้างว้างได้คำตอบแล้ว หลังจากการทบทวนความทรงจำนับครั้งไม่ถ้วน ผลไม้จะหวานต้องอย่าปล่อยให้ดกเกินไป พืชที่ใช้ย้อมสีก็ควรจะเด็ดดอกออกเสีย ในดินแดนเวิ้งว้างอันเป็นนิรันดร์ ไม่ควรปล่อยให้สิ่งปลอมปนอื่นใดมาปะปนได้ "แต่ไม่ว่าอย่างไร ไม่ว่าอย่างไรก็ตาม..." "การใช้แสงแห่งคมดาบขจัดความลุ่มหลง และทำลายความเป็นไปได้ที่ความฝันจะตั้งอยู่และดับไปอย่างสงบ..." is this weapon good for lot of other characters than Raiden? the ayato raiden weapon banner looks nice if Raiden weapon is good but for raiden i’m not sure is it worth just R1 vs R5 catch the fish weapon polearm
I’m pretty sure thats BiS for Raiden, even at R1. And like you could use on other characters but like, if you have Raiden and her Spear why would you use on someone else? (Xiangling is hella stronk with R5 Catch)

ye I meant in my comment that grasscutter R1 is better then catch R5
Raiden grasscutter is good, but its not as versatile as staff of homa I’m afraid. It works well on Raiden and Xiangling tho, since both of them are able to utilize full emblem set and high ER stat to the fullest.
And yes, r1 grasscutter is better than r5 catch, it gives Raiden around 20% more ult dmg. Also, you’re getting bonus atk from the passive, which means you dont have to bother with atk sands/goblets, you just give Raiden ER sand, electro dmg goblet and you’re good to go.
Anyways, thats good weapon to get if you’re playing Raiden and Xiangling a lot, and even put them at the same team (like Raien national). But if you’re not or if you’re looking for something a bit more versatile, I suggest to wait for homa and stick with r5 catch for now.
I agree. Here is an approximate list to whom this weapon will bring the greatest profit:

5. xiao
6. candace (as driver)
You still need attack goblet, ER substat from this plus ER sands already give so much Electro damage from that you get so much diminishing dmg in return . Except if you use attack% substat weapon.
Higher ER is generally better stat to have cuz it gives Raiden extra boost to her stats and abilities and increases the bonus atk she gets from her graasscutter passive. I’ve used the catch for a long time and yes it was much better with atk goblet instead of electro dmg goblet cuz atk stat was super low without it. But grasscutter passive fix that low atk problem so electro dmg goblet getting more value for me here, specially cuz it almost always Benny or Sara at Raiden teams to get additional atk boost. But it also depends on substats, atk goblet with god tier substats are much better choice compared to electro dmg goblet with meh subs.
this here^, remember atk buffs are everywhere, elem dmg buffs are rare so dmg bonus goblets have higher priority.
