2. has anyone tested or calc’d how does she perform compared to burgeon teams? it’s pretty much the same thing but idk what’s better dps. she’s probably easier to use tho.

   • In a Burgeon team she’s just a hydro App, she litteraly loses both passives. and there goes all of her scaling. like maybe for the easy AoE hydro exists, but XQ Yelan and Furina all are there for off-field hydro app

     • Ah, Misread your comment, she scales her cores very hard, is why, burgeon requires an EM pyro unit to blow up the cores, which there is a lack of right now. Also her 400% scaling on damage, is kinda stupid

3. Barbara, Nilou, Kirara, DMC/Nahida

   This team is so easy and satisfying to use on abyss with Barb and Kirara on Sac Weps.
   You just cat smack everyone to death while not taking any damage at all.

4. finally in 4.1 we get a hp% 4* sword, but it is weapon banner only…
   it also gives energy and em when healed:

   When this character is healed or causes healing, they will gain a Mark for 30s. Max 3 Marks. This character can gain the Marks even when off-field.        • yes, those 5 values correspond to the 5 refinements.

         r1 with 3 stacks it is 2+2+2 energy and 40+40+40 em.
         r5 with 3 stacks 4+4+4 energy and 80+80+80 em.

5. Hey, Nilou haters.

   My Nilou(C0)/DMC/Collei/Barbara without 5* weapons bonked EVERY abyss since her release. Including Wenut and Wolflord.

   If you think Nilou is not f2p friendly – you automatically admit you have skill issues and you’re just bad player, there are no counter-arguments.

   Before even blabbering something learn to play, ok?

   Can you do the same with your 5* with three free units? Of course not, cuz they’re bad without their dedicated gacha supports, especially without benny, xl, kazu or xq LULW(those characters are so strong already they don’t need your carries lmao, telling you how “important” your mains are)

7. tbh, I like her unique style and tried to force myself to pull she, but before that I fond all the information available.
   1. her gameplay is terrible, because she is not on-field, you need to adjust her rotation to the characters you have;
   2. she is limited by team compositions, 90% of her talents become useless if conditions are not met;
   3. there are no decent guides for nilou with DPS spreadsheets in various compositions, energy recovery requirements, priority characters, etc., etc. You need to walk through this minefield on your own. But you don’t need it, believe.
   4. She has no f2p replacement for weapon, characters
   5. Farming artifacts is actually not so easy, because. She needs other couples, not ACD (ATK-Crit-DMG)
   6. Her blooming, oh horror, depends on the ping! If you play on mobile phone or an unstable internet connection, the team stops working.
   She have been blacklisted.

     That is subjective, there are several other off-field characters that people still like (Kazuha, Nahida, etc)

     bRuh y’all act as if 2 passives not working is the end of the world… Noelle’s passive are useless and yet people use her as dps, Zhongli’s passives are also pretty useless yet he’s still top shielder, Bennett’s passives are useless unless you actually need to spam skill for energy but most of the time you really don’t.
     In fact there are several characters whose passives aren’t that useful or fully utilized at all in most of their actual “optimal” gameplay, if you want you can ignore dendro and build a hydro dps Nilou with her self infusion on na skill stance, nothing’s stopping you, she’s got decent multipliers and cd’s too. You could also use her other stance as just a hydro applicator for other teams. Ofc, her niche is bloom buffing and is optimal to have one build for that, but she can definitely be used outside of it and she won’t be dead weight.
     I for one use Shenhe with EoSF and A/D/C build in a Dehya melt team, since one of her passives buff’s burst damage globally, not just cryo, and she’s also kind of a fast cryo applicator. Y’all should try to think outside of what CC’s tell you sometime, it’s quite fun actually.

     As for weapons: fav, iron sting, umbrella, sapwood, even skyrider if all you need is er, her burst is non-negligible. Or Harbringer if you wanna build her hydro dps.
     For character: Collei, DMC, Barbruh, Yaoyao (who could be gotten from lantern rite). Nilou bloom is even unironically one of the teams to actually use Candace. XL if you wanna vape with her, Kaeya if you want freeze, Lisa if you want to use her as taser driver. The list goes on and on.

     It is easy, hp pieces are really common and all you’d need is er, em or flat hp, which aside from em are also very common substats, but as always it comes down to luck with the trash artifact system the game has.

     Yeah, also just like every other character lol, shocker, if you play a game that needs you to be permanently online with a bad connection you’ll get bad results, who would’ve expected. Damage is always calculated server side, even if you are able to trigger reactions the enemy won’t be damaged so why are you even playing on bad connection lol, that problem would be on you instead of the character.

     “her gameplay is terrible” => By not needing to be onfield after 4E, you can play another dendro or hydro onfield for better result since she will be full HP and you onfield unit full EM for higher core dmg… In vape/mono hydro team, she is onfield to deal damage. I don’t see your point.

     Pyro, Electro ? Can’t yuse bloom and mess with dendro aura.
     Anemo ? If 2D1H+Anemo, you won’t be able to siwrl hydro, if 2H1D, not enough dendro app to sustain hydro app => Both case DPS loss.
     Geo ? Lower the core production so the DPS of the team
     Only which can be viable would be Cryo for Fridge mecanic but so it limited cryo option too.

     Nilou must be the only char that is good in one singe team comp, throw her in a none bloom comp and she is just a bad hydro char with no effects, so why even bother using her for anything else, which is a bit sad tbh, because she is an extremely limiting char. Even Shenhe has more uses, because she works with every cryo Char and can even buff non cryo chars to some degree, Nilou outside of bloom is just on level of a bad 4 star

     Her f2p team Nilou/DMC/Collei/Barbara with no 5* weapons never failed every abyss(nailing into your head this key word – “every” means “no exceptions”). Including Wolflord and Wenut one.

     She is the Easiest and Cheapest(top #1 cheapest character to build in _entire genshin_, repeating for dumbheads – easiest cheapest) character to build. Triple HP mainstat random artifacts. Iron sting as a weapon. Random EM artifacts on other teammatess with ER substats(easy to chase). 3* 4* free weapons(literally slap r1 magic guide on Barbara and enjoy 35k blooms). NO talents leveling required(except Barbara’s healing)

     All “”problems”” you stated in your comment are your personal _skill issue_ and can’t be taken seriously. It’s your only problem. Before blabbering random shit learn to play the game, thanks for reading.

     And if you ask for “source” then you just admit you know nothing about Nilou(there are tons of f2p showcases, imagine unironically not knowing that before typing your nonsense)

     Argument about “niche” is invalid. There is two types of niche. Team building niche. Content coverage niche. First type is never has been problem. Second type is not related to Nilou(she is strong against 99.9% of the genshin content)

     1. False. You absolutely can play her on-field. She has huge HP pool so she can tank. Her sword dance has the longest range for a sword character. It’s actually really fun to snipe faraway enemies with her final attack string.

     2. Agree, but the catch is, if you are able to meet the conditions, she can destroy 90% of the game’s content. Give and take.

     3. False. Youtube jamiekb9v, or Nilou guide on keqing mains website, or r/NilouMains on Reddit.

     4. Four star EM/ER swords are fine. If you throw all HP artifacts on her, she still can reach 50k HP easily.

     5. You are implying getting ATK/CR/CDmg artifacts are easier than HP/EM/ER, which is simply not true.

     6. That applies to ALL online games. Hard pill to swallow: do not play online games if you don’t have a good internet connection.

8. Her and Candace are the only Hydro units im missing rn. And 3.6 has been surprisingly kind to me, so im close to pity once again after getting Nahida… maybe I can squeeze in Nilou and Baizhu, then save until Fontaine? Since the only thing I’d break my saving for is a random Zhongli reappearance (he hates me and dodges me repeatedly but I need him so bad). Nilou lovers wish me luck <3

9. Yaaaii, won 50/50 and got her. She’s just a deadly monster… Everyone just dies in seconds
   I’m even afraid to imagine what kind of absurdity she can do with her weapon….
   Currently in 62,345 HP with some random 4* sword. Now I’m planning to pull for her weapon, but I’m not sure if Nahida’s weapon any good? (I just don’t think I’ll get Nilou’s bis…) I’m using Nahida with Widsith for now

   • Nilou’s weapon is really great for her <3 But Nahida's is pretty much a great EM stat stick, it's fine with Nahida, but not that big of an upgrade compared to Widsith for personal dmg =x
