Forgive me father for I will definitely sin by trying to put this on characters that don’t even scale with HP.
Skill Damage boosters are so rare
fr, I was thinking they forgot about it. where’s are 2p skill dmg bonus set.
It’s Gambler, but Gambler is a 4* set
I was thinking about ways you can meet the conditions of the set bonus,
and it seems like, aside from Dehya’s repositioned damage,
you can pretty reliably get it with burning or bloom damage.
Which means other characters like Kokomi, Yelan, Nilou, and Yaoyao can also find a use for it.
This feels more like something that should be in Dehya’s base kit(or a const at least), then in artifact set.

Can theoretically work on shieldless Kaveh… Although buff for E and Q is inferior compared to core buff from Paradise lost, right?
offense-oriented set for the “support” character that has offense-oriented burst and constellations, which also doesn’t even solve half of her problems and neither does it buffs her damage by more than 1% compared to EoSF, truly a support character moment.
If this had max stacks wouldn’t it buff dehyas burst and elemental skill damage by 410%?
10% base increase but as she takes damage she gains stacks that add 80% damage. at talent lvl 6
with her attack at 1500 and with 30,000 hp for example which is a pretty doable build her skill damage would do 3180 per hit before this set effect. With this set her damage would be 8996 dmg on her skills coordinated attack at least if my math is correct that would be a 2.8% damage increase from her base stats. Yikes
these scalings are pathetic and it seems like we would need this set, her C1 at least, and her signature weapon to even see some acceptable damage.

this basic effect is increased by 80% MEANS just 8% from 10% base, multiply by 5 then max stack you get 50% dmg bonus, hoyoverse isn’t that generous to give you 400% in artefact only lol
It might be ever worse than that, if they misspelled “2-piece” effect as “basic” one, even though the CN translation of both sets is still desribed in those different sus terms. In Crimson Witch set it worked quite similar, giving up to thrice of 50% 2-piece of set`s pyro damage bonus aka 3*7.5%=22.5% of max situative pyro damage bonus, or max 37.5% in total. Those stacks in CW DIDN`T worked for a first 4-piece set bonus at all, so here it can end up with having the same 10% E/Q damage bonus and up to 100% total HP bonus..
If it boosts the 2pc set, then that could be Hu Tao’s best set since it’d give like 1k Atk with her E, and even more with Homa.
+100% HP would also be crazy on Nilou or Yelan.
Another artifact with a bonus to +20% HP. My team with Nilou will get even better…
so this will basicaly make dehya broken from how i understandt it right
80% of 10% is 8%, so at max stacks you get 10% + 5 x 8% = 50% bonus damage. This isn’t enough for Dehya to become good, but this is potentially good for other future characters or even Xiao. You could also on-field Yelan as a driver and get a good amount of hp, skill and burst damage, but that’s a big cope.
2 piece bonus is also decent on Nilou and Baizhu. Overall interesting set.
I thought it mean (10% + 8%)*5
Based on the wording, I’m inclined to think it is how Yeet suggested, but wouldn’t be the first time beta has had misleading wording, using your interpretation it would max out at +90% instead of +50%
either way, given that the stacks track independently, you would need something that hits very rapidly (like ruin guard tornado) to make best use of it
I think the highest burst damage increase from 4 piece artifacts atm is emblem (if you have it capped) which if you have the stats to cap it is +75% burst damage if I remember, since that’s basically unconditional once you have the stats for it, I could see them going higher with conditional timer, but guess we’ll have to wait and see
actually thinking about it, if Dehya’s redmane blood triggers it constantly, she could theoretically have a free 100% up time on the 5 stack effect, will need to test that once it comes out
I don’t believe Xiao’s HP drain counts as taking DMG.
This set doesn’t work with Xiao. The Burst needs to do high dmg in itself to benefit from the dmg bonus of this set and Xiao’s burst doesn’t even damage enemies, which means that it won’t get any benefit from using this set.
Right now, there are only 2 characters who can potentially use this set, Dehya and on-field Nilou. Nevertheless, I agree that 50% bonus damage won’t be enough to make Dehya broken, but she will definitely be better than this patch.
Emblem set already gives a similar damage increase on her Burst, without the Skill DMG, but comes with ER instead of HP, which is much more desirable. There’s also support sets like TotM, NO, or Instructor to boost team damage instead. It remains to be seen if this set would actually make her any better than current options.
So this is the rumored Dehya set. So at max stacks the set will increase your skill and burst by 50%? That’s a hefty bonus.
I prefer emblem than this new artifact.
