  1. Did it say if the stacks additive or multiplicative?

If the stacks stack additive, the bonus E/Q damage will be 10% + 8×5 = 50%
if multiplicative, we are looking at 10% x (1.8^5) = 88.95% bonus damage

idk if they mentioned this, but if it stacks multiplicative, this will be a massive boost at 5 stacks

      • Not necessarily. I see the name of the set was changed (I think it was previously called Dewflower’s Glow) and intriguingly they added text stating that every stack’ duration is independent.

This set is clearly meant to be Dehya’s signature artifact set and if the bonuses are only additive then this a pointless set for Dehya as Emblem would still be giving nearly as much bonus damage (or equal if her ER is 200%) to the burst for main DPS builds and the increase to the skill would not be significant enough for support Dehya builds to change to this from TotM.

However if the bonuses were multiplative and the bonus is up to 90% bonus skill and burst damage, that would be enough to make this Dehya’s best set overall. I actually think this artifact set’s bonuses are mutiplative. I think the independent stack duration are to help ensure that only Dehya can reliably get the max damage bonus on a consistent basis.

Hoyoverse already screwed up Dehya herself, I can’t see them also screwing up a dedicated artifact meant as a post release “fix”.

        • Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG will be increased by 10%. After the equipping character takes DMG, *the aforementioned DMG Bonus* is increased by 80% for 8s. This effect increase can have 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is counted independently. These effects can be triggered even when the equipping character is not on the field.
          -FoPL
The equipping character’s Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon reaction DMG are increased by 40%. Additionally, after the equipping character triggers Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, they *will gain another 25% bonus to the effect mentioned prior*. Each stack of this lasts 10s. Max 4 stacks simultaneously. This effect can only be triggered once per second. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.
Interestingly, English is not your native language, right? And not even mine, but my knowledge is enough to understand that these are synonyms. Either these are translation errors, or this is a deliberate distortion of information. in any case, you can expect the worst since the developer has proven that he can do shit that we can’t even imagine.

  2. This looks like it wont work for many characters and is geared specifically for Dehya and maybe Diluc (C2 specifically) currently.

Doesn’t look like this will work for Hu Tao or Xiao or under Corrosion status. I think people are missing the understanding that both Hu Tao’s and Xiao’s skill/burst use HP as a cost for use of the ability and that it is technically a drain and not self-inflicted damage. It is purely HP loss and not taking damage.
Corrosion can be considered the bleed status seen in many other RPGs, which is also a HP drain and not damage unless specifically worded that it is damage. Which for genshin that is not how it is phrased, its phrased that characters inflicted with the corrosion status will LOSE HP. Corrosion being a status is why it passes shields..

This set will probably not work on any character that makes shields or in teams that will have shield generation cause shields absorb the damage.

Generally, this will work for any on field bloom, hyperbloom, or burgeon dps cause dendro cores deal DMG.

  3. I think they should lower the amount of bonus damage earned per stack to lets say 4% and have it be a party wide buff but only the extra 20 percent is transferred to the party.. they could have some weird thing where it only activates at max stacks. as to avoid people abusing it

    • Still not enough TBH. The thing that she need the most is good hydro/cryo applicator and team that would work with her kit like her burst. Even with 50% DMG increase effect, if she can’t melt/vape it Then you would not see big difference. Like my current Dehya’s at C0 build CW artifact can deal 10k DMG per hit x10 & 18k last hit Burst without reaction. With this new artifact mostly would increase up to 14k & 25K. Still not that big to be fair.

      • isnt it 80% each stacks? so 5*80% is 400% so it will increase 4x the damage without any artifact sets. If you deal 10k per hit on mono pyro team then with this set isnt it gonna be 4 times stronger?

        • The effect of the artifact set is dubious, it’s poorly written. As I interpret it, it’s actually an 80% increase on the basic effect, which means it’ll only increase 8% Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst per stack, reaching 50% damage bonus. Hopefully it is 80% each stack though lol

  4. I know Nilou isn’t played as an on field driver, but this set with Nilou running sac sword would increase her dmg if someone were to use her as a hydro driver in a mono dendro team, and the dmg would spike even more if she has c2. Just my thoughts.

  5. so it’s +50% dmg on elemental skill and burst. The very set made for Dehya is strange

maybe it fits more likely Xiao on burst spamming E lol

        • Only nuke Hu Tao.
Her Paramita Papilio state still scales of her NA. The Only thing Hu Tao would benefit from is her Blood Blossoms and Burst.

Unless you’re trying to break the world record for Hu Taos Burst: This is terrible for her, most of her damage will be coming from her charges. Stick with the 4pc Crimson.

        • Another super niche set going straight to the garbage even on the character it’s supposed to be BiS on. literally the only reason that even someone like Dehya should be taking damage is IF you have beacon of the reed sea. Her base kit has absolutely NO requirements of not using a shield/needing to take damage to gain dps. If you’re using her as a damage soaker in place of slotting a shielder why would you care about her mediocre damage output in the first place. You would probably much prefer Elemental Mastery than skill+burst damage%. This artifact set synergizes with absolutely nothing other than being a 2pc on HP scalers.

      • I don’t believe it specifies the type of damage though (correct me if I’m wrong) so it wouldn’t matter? Unless you’ve already checked into that / verified with beta tester.

        • The wording for Xiao’s current BiS artifact is when he “loses HP” to trigger its passive. This artifact is instead closer to Serpent Spine’s passive that will cancel if the wielder “takes DMG”, which cannot happen when the wielder is shielded, hence Serpent Spine + shield being the usual combination.
