Item Story

"The west wind bears wine's fragrance away,"
"The mountain wind brings glad tidings new."
"The breeze from afar tugs at my heart,"
"It sings of my longing for you."

Long ago, there was a knight who was ever dour of countenance.
Only a certain song could ever cause his brow to unfurl,
And only a certain girl who sang that song in the square,
Could cause him to forget the great burden of his duty for a time.

But at last, calamity came upon this land.
The songs that had once flown joyfully in the wind were drowned by a venomous dragon.
In the wake of its earth-shaking footsteps, even the cries and the flames were ripped asunder.
The Anemo Archon heard their agony, though he had refused to rule.
But to protect his old friends' dream, and defend the wind-kissed fields of green,
He woke from his long slumber anew, and with the sky dragon into battle he flew...
The Knight and his knights also fought for their land.

When the venomous dragon fell to ruin on the ice-sealed peak, the blue sky dragon fell asleep in the ancient tower.
But the Knight was in the valley, spent of his life's blood, and as he fell, he could only think thus:
"She is abroad studying, so she should be well. But ah, how I wish to hear her sing again."
"At least Arundolyn and Roland are alright. When she returns, this calamity should have blown over."

The songs in praise of the archon and tunes that recorded the battle of the two dragons were many, but all slowly became lost.
The song the girl loved to sing, too, changed upon her return.
"The dandelions carry in the summer wind,"
"Autumn brings the fragrance of grain."
"But no wind in any season on earth"
"Shall have you gaze upon me again."

And after her voice and her tears had run dry, the girl swore to use her life's flame to cleanse the world's crookedness.

Why u think 4 stacks to buff is useless? If there’s a character’sburst have more than 4 times,it will be very useful

“when the elemental skill or burst hits opponents” does that mean stacks will gained per hit? not per cast? as example venti burst deals a ton of multiple hits, does that mean he can simply gain full stack by just casting burst once?

Yes. His burst can activate the effect with one casting.
(the only reason his skill isn’t able to do the same is the .2 second cooldown to gain a stack)

I feel like this bow isnt all that great, I like the idea of having my archon’s signature weapons and all but this aint it when stringless exists, the EM buff is useless for teams in which venti is used the most.

EM buff is useless for morgana, but Venti can press only one E in rotation to recharge. I gues it’s more comfortable than stringless, although Venti will likely loses a little of damage

If with stringless your venti could already Q on cooldown then it’s better, as it buffs 20% ATK and increases your venti swirl dmg, EM buff does nothing to Mona,Ganyu though

I want to replace Blackcliff bow for Sara in my Raiden-Sara-Bennet-Eula team. I don’t have another 5* bow. Is Sara able to proc the effect using just her skill and burst? I have her at c6 if the extra bolts help

Since this is coming back would this be good for my Morgana team? my current characters have Venti r1 stringless, Ganyu, r5 prototype crescent, and Diona r5 favonius.

Yes it will. While Venti will lose out a little on damage, and the EM Buff will go to waste, the 20% attack increase is still pretty good.

You won’t be using it to it’s full potential, but that doesn’t necessarily make it bad.
