An exquisite instrument with strings of different materials on every section. When struck, every string trembles, creating flowing music. But it is also a bow, one capable of firing arrows that target the heart. Where the music from this instrument leads, death shall surely follow. After the Wanderer's Troupe disbanded, the harp's strings were cut with a dull blade, creating ear-piercing noises. Only the bowstring now remains. The instrument's lofty melodies are lost, but it remains a deadly weapon. The Wanderer's Troupe could make birds fall from the sky, sometimes with the tune of the harp, sometimes with the arrows that followed the tune through the air. Just like the wind that elopes with the harp's tune and the flowers that grow on Starsnatch Cliff, the harpist was both playful and determined. After the uprising failed, the Wanderer's Troupe disbanded and its members fled. The harpist stayed till the end, deftly plucking the instrument's strings and raining down a torrent of arrows to protect his comrades. He played till he exhausted his repertoire, and his arrows. The harpist was from the magnificent and enchanting land of Fontaine. He had left to travel the world in search of his true destiny. It is said that all the ladies of the Court of Fontaine wailed with grief when they heard the tragic news that he had left without saying goodbye. The story is that he fell in love with a humble Mondstadt woman, but she was then selected for the miserable fate of Ludi Harpastum princess. It is claimed that he had no regrets about dying anonymously in a foreign land. The only thing he regretted was finally discovering true love, only to never have the chance to sing another love song. |

Stringless is much more viable than mouun’s moon. I agree EM is somewhat useless on her. But att% on mouun’s subs is more useless. The passive limits her teamcomp also her burst dmg is her initial burst activation only i think. The buff from either weapon dont apply to the the rest of her burst. But stringless at least make her skill into mini nuke every 10 sec where as the mouun dont offer her anything to compete
Agreed, if you dont have her 5 star this is for sure the best option. R1 or R5 dosent make a difference in terms of it being the best 4 star, the passive is always up and the EM isnt even useless as she is a sub dps anyway used for proccing reactions.
viable yelan weapon
NOPE, useless EM stats, requires refinements. Relies on passive to increase DMG bonus, with EM stats is wasted.
It can be a viable weapon on high refinement level if you didn’t have polar star, skyward or aqua simulacra. In Taser party EM stat is actually viable on her. Other viable 4 star weapon will be Fading Twilight, Sacrificial Bow, Viridescent, and mouun’s moon. For 3 star weapon Recurve Bow, Sharpshooter’s Oath, and Slingshot is viable for stat only.
Most of Yelan damage are from her Skill and Burst which scale from HP, so most of current bow actually won’t fit her kit due to most of them buff either ATK% or Normal/Charge Attack. With Stringless you can reach 94.6% damage bonus for her skill with Hydro DMG cup while rising her Vaporize damage multiplier by around 30%.
Stringless might not be the best weapon for her but it actually viable option on her if you didn’t have anything better.
It might be good for Ganyu to melt with it
I wonder if the stringless is fit with Yoimiya’s elemental skill… Is that each shot of yoimiya’s pyro-covered arrow has an additional damage by using this weapon?
probably, but we can only really find out once the banner is out…
It does not, I tested it with level 20 ascended Yoimiya, level 1 elemental skill, level 81 hilichurl level 40 ascended stringess bow. Produced physical damage before E was 46 per shot, damage after E was 63 pyro per shot, an exact 137.91% (rounded down to the nearest integer as the client will do) damage increase as stated in the skill description. Stringless passive was not applied.
this is now venti’s bis weapon, even better than r5 harp lol
For anyone wondering this is one of Venti’s best weapons, and with the EM Buff in 1.6 look forward to this being even better.
wouldn’t recommend, as ur not going to make any use of the elemental mastery that it gives unless your running a vape comp.
Is it me or this is very good for an elemental reaction based Amber?
Non, c’est pour un support. Tarta = DPS donc arc de la voute d’azur ou arc rouillé !
I could see somebody using this; planning to use it on Tartaglia if I get him 😀
