A lance once kept in the collection of a noble who ruled over Mondstadt. A product of premium materials and masterful artisanship. For that reason, it remains sharp as it was on the day it was first forge, even many generations after the nobles' time ended. But back in the era of the nobility, this weapon never saw the light of day, and bathed only in the pale moonlight. The nobles believed that those of high blood should use swords in battle. To them, the sound of blades clashing was the chorus the lofty souls. The spear and the bow, on the other hand, were the weapons of plebeian gladiators and commoners. Commoners with pitchforks and sharpened wooden poles, after all, could yet be a match for sword-wielding scions of nobility. This was, undoubtedly, a hard pill for the rulers of Old Mondstadt to swallow. Legend has it that there was also a youth of noble stock, Who sought out a smith to make this weapon, emblazoned with their house's crest, And yet which, like this youth, could never earn the favor of his family... No, not without the spilling of blood. If that youth wanted change to come, they needed power. Even if it meant using a weapon seen as ignoble. Even if it meant that their spear-wielding shadow could never see any light but that of the deep night's moon. |

shenhe weapon
I was thinking of doing a Rosaria cosplay, does anyone know where I can find the model of this spear? I have only found it as part of packs
Is it good for shenhe
I think that right now the only weapons better than this for Shenhe, provided you aren’t doing an unusual build for her, are the lithic spear, wavebreaker’s fin and her signature weapon. Both those 4 stars are event wish limited weapons,so this would be the best reliably obtainable weapon for her.
This spear just too good for Rosaria as her skill + constellation requires crit a lot , and this’s perfect weapon for those who got 5% crit rate and 150%+ crit dmg like me XD since 10% crit already enough
actually, its pretty good if your character haves big AoE and doesnt haves a big one slap hit. the passive literally lets you farm crit rate, i will def be using it on Raiden Shogun?
Have anyone thought about this one on Rosaria? She takes advantage on the passive and even knowing that atk% is not ideal on any weapon, atk% kinda benefits either cryo or physical build (of course, if you have Crescent, that’s the best 4* for physical). Mine is not, so for now she’s with White Tassel. Tried Starglitter but meh, It’s better on my Xiangling. And Hu Tao already has the Blackcliff one, so I’m sorta out of options.
Hmm…. i mean.. good for hu tao
This polearm is so underrated, basically at R1 have +8% Crit Rate at Passive, me at first just curious about this weapon after using it at my Xiao that’a work really good because Xiao have high base attack those secondary stats is +ATK% really good boost for Xiao’s attack plus now with passive +12% Crit Rate is so good, now im using R3 Royal Spear, it’s really underrated weapon especially for Xiao
What a waste. This weapon has one of the worst passive in the game and doesn’t worth refinement at all. Blackcliff R3 already has the potential to exceed the 5* while this weapon only gives you an average of 7.25%CR bonus at 50% CR, and if your CR higher you’ll get lower bonus. Check this spreadsheets: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1v1hi6tUdFEC4SHM6_zwtlXOmCl_5paXqAD_d8uU6Umc/edit#gid=616199086
Then dont’ bother with crit rate, focus on increasing your crit dmg instead. What’s the issue?
Atk% is not good for hu tao cause she has very low base attack. So this weapon probably the worst 4* for her since it coastly too.
Dude dont forget that %atk is based on base atk of weapon too. You would like to have extra %atk anyways
Could this be a good spear for hu tao? Since the passive increases crit rate and she gets crit dmg? also the base atk and main stat could work with her low base attack.
Could this be a good spear for hu tao with the base attack and atk% main stat?
I think it is cause of her low base atk. When she uses her E spell, her atk bonus gain were capped at 400% of her base atk. So the higher base atk, the better it is.
Btw sorry for my grammar
It’s not worth it guys, don’t get it.
For xiao, it’ is worth it. He already has crit rate as a main stat, at level 80 he has 50% crit rate main stat, with R1 royal spear it can go up to 80% crit rate despite the attack percentage boost. Imagine this with a 5 star crit dmg helmet and all the other artifact sub main stats is crit dmg, the final damage will be INSANE. I believe the black pole spear is the best 4 star weapon especially for xiao and this spear is the second best after the 5 star weapons and the black pole.
The more crit rate you have, the more useless this weapon becomes. Let’s say you have 50% crit rate. You will approximately crit every two hits. That means most of the time you will have 0 or 1 stack. I did the calculations and at 50%, your crit rate will be increased to 55% or so, which means almost nothing. Only good thing about this weapon is the high base ATK, but since Xiao has high base ATK it doesn’t matter that much to him. In the end, all royal weapons are garbage, don’t get them.
