Item Story

The whole world flocks to the commercial port of Liyue, much to the city's pride.
With the tides of people also come exotic treasures.
This spearhead is long and narrow like a needle, with a crescent-shaped blade extending from its base.
Once the bearer has grasped its elusive design concept, this weapon becomes far more destructive than its counterparts.

Unlike the martial artists of Liyue, those from other lands are masters of the art of surprise, skilled at developing ingenious new tricks.
This weapon is designed to exploit fatal flaws. Like a needle, it slips between the gaps in an opponent's armor. Like the powers of music and love, it finds its way past people's defenses.

The designer of the Crescent Pike was said to be able to visualize the fatal flaws in life itself.
As if drawn by some mystical power, the pike would fly from her hand towards her opponents' fatal flaws.
"Perhaps all that lives waits willingly for death."
So thought the designer, who could see that which was fatally undefended in each living thing, yet had no such fatal flaws in her own life.

Then she found music, and through music found love. And in love, she found her own fatal flaw.
In the end, the pain of finality, which pierced her heart like a needle, finally brought the witch to a realization:
"Fatal flaws are born of a fear of death. Fear of death is born of having things, and people, to care about."

"Oh, how I wish to see him but one more time, that thief who can neither be caught nor killed."
"Oh, how I wish to hear his song but one more time. If I should survive, I shall certainly treat him—"

Should be. But her E doesn’t work on physical damage so I don’t think she’ll be better than Rosaria in that role.

I have this at R5 since Rosaria came out. It’s simply amazing.

I see alot misguiding build on yt, combining crescent pike with bolide artifact. That is wrong. The normal atk dmg bonus from bolide is not affecting the additional dmg from this weapon. The same case happen 4set gladiator

Honestly i think that this one is going to be better for Rosaria than the Dragonspine Spear

Not for the fact that the passive boost normal & charged attack, Xiao is a plunge-base DPS. (so it doens’t work, just pick a Deathmatch once)

Either way if a player’s xiao always have their burst active, why even get this? starglitter would do a lot more better, and besides you won’t really have to keep on pressing jump and plunge, you’re gonna have to get a combo up or else gameplay would really get stale, gotta play with style not just purely mathematical or relying on pure dps statistics alone.

Would be so perfect for Hu Tao or even Xiao if it weren’t for that cancerous phys dmg% stat

You got something wrong there mate, the attack damage bonus is another instance of damage, and the type of damage it does is physical (if you think your character’s attack power would increase, you got it all wrong)
Both Hu Tao and Xiao are element infusion focused characters, meaning one or more of their abilities lets them infuse their attacks with the element they use.
This crescent pike is mainly for Physical carries or for characters who doesn’t have any infusion related effects, so if you’re gonna be using this on hu tao or xiao, you’re doing it all wrong and should consider hiring a tutor on genshin, or watch more yt vids about the game.
      Not hating, just stating facts.

Either you missed that “if it weren’t for that cancerous phys dmg% stat” part, or you just wanted to have something to rant about.

No, what Vulture said was correct. Even if the Crescent Pike didn’t have the “cancerous phys dmg % stat”, its passive effect wouldn’t benefit Hu Tao or Xiao anyways, because their strength is mainly from Elemental DMG. Since the Crescent Pike’s PASSIVE ability gives “additional DMG equal to __% of ATK” which is PHYSICAL damage (white numbers) that is inflicted whenever you hit your Normal or Charged attacks, there’s really no point of using this on Xiao or Hu Tao unless you really have nothing else to use.
