Item Story

There was once a popular folk song that went like this:
"Toss to the bard all the coins you can spare,"
"Give your bouquet to yon maiden so fair,"
"Take wine so bitter it makes the tears flow,"
"Drink to the yesterday now been and gone, and sing for tomorrow that comes with the dawn."

In the land where songs and music carry on the wind, the people have merry yet sensitive souls.
It is said that there were times in history when the tyrant Decarabian and the ruling aristocrats would ban certain chords and tunes,
For discerning people could sense the spirit of resistance that lay behind the music of the bards and singers.
Songs and hymns had also indeed been used before as a way for rebels to communicate.

In the days of the ruling aristocracy, the Church that revered the Anemo Archon was once split in twain by a schism:
On one side stood the clergy, who ate at the lords' table, and overturned the archon's statues with them even as they wrote songs and hymns of praise.
On the other stood the saints, who held no clerical office, and who walked the streets, the wine cellars, and the world beyond the walls.
These saints drank cheap moonshine, blessing the slave and the plebeian with the original holy manuscripts that circulated amongst the people and with words that the wind brought to them.
And while they did so, they penned forbidden songs and poetry.

When the gladiator from a foreign land arose together with the re-awakened Anemo Archon and raised the banner of rebellion,
The aged saint known as the Nameless Shepherd mobilized the true adherents of the Church of Favonius.
Together with many others, they spilled their martyred blood upon these emerald fields.
And together, they sang a rallying cry to save the nation, the hitherto-unsung half of that folk song of old:

"Leave the keen steel to those who will give their lives for the fight,"
"Prepare the thieves' gallows,"
"Sharpen your rusted arrows,"
"For when the music sounds, we shoot the beasts down."

Would anybody happen to know at what refinement does this beat an R5 WGS for Eula? Homa’s first banner screwed me over. And I want this to be worth it for her.

This weapon r1 or Skyward Pride r2 is better overall on Eula?

What you get with a r2 Skyward Pride:
      – A relatively high base attack stat which is also one of the highest in game (higher than WGS) but just 2nd to Broken Pines
      – Energy recharge is priceless for Eula (except if you have decent ER from artis and a Cryo battery in your team)
      – 10% total damage increase (meaning EVERYTHING) and 8 vaccum blades that will deal 80% of your attack as Phy Dam (can crit but will not be affected by Physical Damage Bonus).

Well, if you do get r1 broken spines (?), you’ll get:
      – A very high base attack (highest in game as of writing)
      – Extra push on physical damage
      – Maximum of 64% att increase (gets 16% att increase every hit) in the first 4 hits of your normal/charge att
      – Previous effects will be cleared (the 64% att buff since the description says it will consume the previous stacks) but in return will give 12% att speed increase and 20% att increase for ALL party members after hitting for 4 hits. Passive has 8s downtime (20s – 12s = 8s) because description says “Once the effect is triggered… will NOT gain stacks” meaning cooldown starts at effect activation.

      Conclusion:
      – You’ll get way better rewards from using Broken Pines as it not just only buffs Eula but also the whole team too. Higher base attack, better substat for damage, and overall a better weap even at ref 1. It’s just that you really have to consider your Energy Recharge stat because Eula will be harder to play with your Energy Recharge being too low.

Just that, congratulations on getting Broken Pines if you do!!

“Maximum of 64% att increase (gets 16% att increase every hit) in the first 4 hits of your normal/charge att”

Wrong though, 16% atk is passive atk increase. Stacks dont increase your atk by 16% each stack. Getting to 4 stacks activates the 12% atk speed and 20%atk so you have a total of 36% atk on the character once the buff activates.

TBH, you are kinda wrong on broken pine, it only give you total of 36% ATK and 12% attack speed

Heya all I want to confirm something: “once this effect is triggered, you will not gain the Sigil of Whatever for 20s.” So is this mean the passive has 8 seconds cooldown? Thank you in advance.

The problem is that there are still new characters coming out, as well as old characters that still need a rerun. Albedo, Xiao, Ganyu. Add that with new banners will probably still be several months. I think she will most likely get a rerun around spring or early summer.

Yeah, down time of 20s-12s = 8s since it indicated “Once the effect is triggered…” meaning that the 20s timer will start at that instance.

this is a signature weapon, it won’t return until the eula rerun in like 2030. weapon banners can’t have double signature weapons, it’s almost always the signature weapon + a mediocre one
