The whole world flocks to the commercial port of Liyue, much to the city's pride. With the tides of people also come exotic treasures. This needle-like sword, with a point but no edges, sacrifices the ability to slash for increased piercing damage. A level of skill is required to realize its full potential. However, it still serves as a fine sword even for those who wield it without particular skill. A weapon from a distant shore that once hung from the waist of its seafaring bearer. A slender and elegant blade, it stood out amidst the roughness and chaos of the sea. When curious folk inquired, the boat captain deflected their questions. Rumors abounded concerning the blade's origins. Some said it was won in battle against pirates, others that it was a loot from a raid. But when the red evening clouds set in and after the sails had been dropped for the night, the Chief Mate would gently polish the blade, Reminiscing about his old life in the Wind Kingdom, the time he spent roaming as a martial nomad. Reminiscing about a girl from his hometown, a love that ended too soon, and a promise to meet again. |

Should I r5 for kazuha
alley flash’s passive is pretty useless for shinobu and the em stat is lower so I’m getting this instead
But it’s the same passive? All I see is DMG% increase.
Mainly the EM is the big difference since you want to build full EM stats on shinobu for support. The damage% will not matter too since Shinobu’s scalings are kinda bad (another reason why you want to build full EM).
Assuming Shinobu is level 90, has 726 EM (Iron sting lvl 90, EM sands, EM goblet, EM circlet)
Electro charged/per tick = 8,220
Overloaded/per tick = 13,703
As for the healing, 726 EM will also boost Shinobu’s healing by 544.5
Assuming Shinobu is level 90, has the 2piece Millelith artifact set (Iron sting, EM sands, EM goblet, EM circlet)
She will have 22,476.16 HP
Her healing would be (including the healing bonus from EM)
Level 6 = 1,944
Level 9 = 2,277
Level 12 = 2,632
You really do not wanna build her with usual atk% sands, electro dmg%, crit artifacts because even then, she will only still do around 1.1k per tick from her Grass Ring Sanctification (off-field attack).
Lol not bad but I have excessive amount of Clams so I build her full healer and pair her with Eula so now they’re like a match made in heaven. Superconduct and Eula’s physical def shred make Clam’s bubble explosions hit like a bomb truck. Eula also becomes (even more) unstoppable and Kuki can heal herself to full hp in no time.
As much as I want to believe that rancour is better …. but my biggest regret not getting 1 copy of this sword . Now I understand why EM is considered the best stat. This sword is just perfect. Just give it to any swordsmanship character with a team full of element reaction (EX. CN Team : Xingqiu , Xiangling , Bennett ) and you will see better result than rancour. However, for new player element reaction could be hard to active (due to some character need there burst which is hard to get for new player ) but on the other hand, its the best sword for f2p for overall use + result ( with the new inazuma blade as the second best sword for f2p and low spender)
this, rancour doesnt have as much value as this. What I mean is that this sword will come in handy more than rancour considering its passive
Does its passive also increase swirl damage? It said “increase all damage” anyone have tested it?
Character Level, Elemental Mastery, Artefacts (such as Viridescent Venerer) and Resistance are the only variables that modify the damage of Transformative Reactions, so no.
Anemo damage yes
Swirl no
Unsurprisingly, this is pretty much the go-to weapon for F2P Kazuha options.
After 1.6 update, you can literally DPS an Anemo character with just swirl, as there are teams now with EM Sucrose. (no crit just alooot of EM)
and Something like R1 Stringless is stronger than R5 Skyward Harp on Venti.
so you don’t need a weapon with high base ATK, Crit substat or else, you just need EM on someone like Anemo MC or Kazuha,
making this sword such an amazing option if you can’t get his siganture weapon.
Yup. v1.6 truly do justice to Anemo MC as it elevates them from “what the fuxk are they doing here” into “Swirl DPS”
Ayaka saver here, is R4 iron sting or R2 alley flash better for her?
arguably you shouldn’t be using either of those weapons since she’s designed to be a main dps, these weapons are more for a support character. However, you can build her as a burst dps or a sub dps in a melt comp if you want, in which case an r4 iron sting should be better (you can easily get it to r5 too) since you can get a 24% elemental damage bonus at r5. The only downsides to the iron sting is the lower base attack (but it still has a much higher em at lvl 90) and the fact that the passive can be a bit hard to get up since you need to do elemental damage beforehand before you use your burst
Black sword if you have it from bp or black cliff sword are solid options, I wouldn’t rly use iron sting or alley flash but alley flash might be better since the high base atk is great. Em on ayaka will not be useful since you wanna use her with freeze comp
This will probably end up being the best sword for Kazuha if you don’t get freedom word, tho the skyward blade will be pretty cool too for subDPS builds since it compensates his bad auto damage (might be the actual best choice at C6?). I also saw people saying that the Alley Flash might be cool but this one just doesn’t give enough EM.
should I use her for Ayaka in the future?
I recommended the Blackcliff longsword, it’s cuz the crit dmg and the passive, run better on her.
this or the aquila favonia for kazuha?
Probably Aquila, while the EM and all damage after elemental damage from the Iron Sting is nice, Aquila’s massive base attack and attack percent are extremely OP on any sword user.
For support Kazuha this one’s a lot better because of the EM and the passive, but if you wanna play him with a physical build i think aquila is best in spot. But i think it’s fine both of them, aquila gives you a lot of attack, an Kazuha has great multipliers in his skills, so the more attack the more damage. It depends on your playstyle, sub dps with damage or full support with EM
Does Anemo also count as Elemental Damage?
Yes
will it be good for Ayaka?
anyone know how the word “all DMG” work ?
it means all damage done by that character
normal charged and plunge attacks
elemental skill and burst and any other ascension skill or constellation that does damage
Does not include reaction damage.
They’ll be making a 5 star weapon for him for sure, probably in the same series as venti’s bow
This indeed by far atm the best slot for him as f2p because you would want more EM on him which makes this better than the Alley Flash. Next-in-line would be the 3 star weapon, Dark Iron Sword, that is if you have no means on crafting an Iron Sting sword.
you can use the black iron on him if you have an electro supp, like fischl or beidou then you should trigger the passive
Do you think this will be ok on Kiryu Kazuha, for us F2P players?
Yes! Perfect F2P option at least for now.
should i use this or rancour for a dps anemo traveler?
