I have a question. Would an R2 lithhic spear be better than an R2 deathmatch? Its for my Xiao and Im not completely sure.
I prefer deathmatch c2. But i would choose lithic spear if it’s on Refine 5
would a deathmatch with one enemy be better than a lithic spear with 2 liyue party members if both are at R1
Who should i equip this weapon on? Zhongli or xiao? My xiao currently has favonius lance (thats the best ive got for him) and my Zhongli currently has Black Tassel.
Xiao, this weapon is actually ridiculously strong at high refinement and with 3-4 Liyue characters in party. With 4 Liyue characters in party and on R5, it provides %28 CR and %71.6 ATK on top of high base ATK. Even beats Homa and Primordial according to math. It’s busted.

So does BENNETT count as Liyue character?? Cuz my team going to be XIAO, ZHONGLI, NINGGUANG/XINYAN, BENNETT
the first 3 are confirmed liyue chars… but idk about bennett. if hes too then i can get full 4 stacks on Xiao…
This spear is so crazy… it can be one of the best weapons even including 5* at max refine… and definitely the best 4* spear…

Bennett is not liyue character. you can check the profile tab on character menu to see where each character is from ( childe might or might not count).
By the way, it’s a weapon banner only and will not be featured in normal banner afterwards. so It’s likely R2 or R3 if you aim for 5 star weapon.
Childe is from Snezhnaya, so he will not count.
But he uses Mondstadt book for his skills. Maybe he would count for a Mondstadt passive.
I guess not, he’s affiliated in Liyue’s story quest and when you check character tab on genshin.mihoyo you’ll find him as Liyue Character

PJWS R1 or R5?
Even R5 PJWS is not enough in comparison to this spear.
That is simply not true. The thing about PJWS is that it increases *DMG Dealt* at max stacks. True the Lithic Spear can go up to71.6% ATK% but it’s just one multiplier that’s multiplying off the Base ATK of the character. Different multiplier will yield better results at the end of the day. Besides, you were comparing R5 Lithic to R5 PJWS. That comparison Lithic just downright loses out in the end. R5 Jade Spear gives 42% ATK% and increases *DMG Dealt* by a whooping 24%.
For example, lets say your base attack is 500. For Lithic Spear, 1.716*500 = 858. For Jade Spear, (1.42*500)*1.24 = 880.4. The difference here might not be much but don’t forget, your artifacts also add ATK%, which means the end dmg with the Lithic Spear will be a lot further as compared to the Jade Spear. Now if you’re comparing R5 Lithic to R1 Jade Spear, that would be more comparable. In fact you might even argue that Lithic will win(as long as you have 4 Liyue chars)
Element% from artifacts count as the same multiplier as DMG% effects so Jade Spear’s ability won’t even increase the final damage by 24% because diminishing returns, the real increase is something around 15%.

Can someone clarify. If i have 4 liyue characters would it give additional 44% atk and 28% crit rate at r5? That seems busted so id like to confirm if there is error in the translation
That’s correct. With ascension passive gives a total of %71.6 ATK and %28 CR. It’s even better than Homa and Primordial according to math.
Imagine when you coop and the other 3 players use Mondsadt character
