I would be so OP if I used this bow since I’m so far away from what I desire (I need love ahh)
just from the atk on this one its a no blackcliff would need 3 kill stacks to get similar atk even with bad artifacts and at lvl 90 blackcliff only gives an extra 30% crit dmg and while yes its a good option for ganyu still none of the other weapons in game rn compete with this one
This bow effect has a minimum 0.3s flight time hidden mechanic for Ganyu’s Bloom effect.
it doesnt say that the ability that stacks has a cooldown or lasts a certain amount of time so u could use childe in his bow for for a bit then switch to melee mode

RA, it does but it’s wierdly wierdly, the bonus for every 0.1 secs depends on the arrow being in the air for that long, so childe would only get the base12-24%
The wording on this changed, but it still operates the same as it always has. The damage buff is dependent on shot flight time, so you’re probably not going to want to touch this thing unless you have a charge archer like Amber or Ganyu.
The only problem is to even proc the stacks correctly on the charge shot you’ll have to be so far back you wouldn’t really even be in the battle anymore which is a useless passive so it really needs to work like the new description says otherwise I probably won’t be using it.
this bow is actually very broken for ganyu, because passive in 0.1 second almost always stacks 2-3 times at very close range. For comparison, my friend and I have a ganyu, I have a skyward harp bow and stats 50% cc 190% cdmg 2550 atk, he has amos bow and has almost the same stats, but the crit chance is less and the atk is more about 2700-2800. The damage output from him in total exceeds 20k from an arrow and 30-40 from an explosion, meanwhile I have 12k from an arrow and 21k from an explosion because off difference in passive skills. Both have same 8th lvl attack talent

Blackcliff warbow probably will outrun this one in dmg. Ganyu has 40% C.Chance from passive+set. You can build her 250%+ C.Damage. With those multipliers of hers it’s going to be a devastating damage.

Do note that the Frostlake Arrow and the Bloom afterwards count as Charged Shots.
Her Bloom also doesn’t count as hitting the enemy until it actually blooms. This means that you will ALWAYS get at minimum 3 stacks on the Bloom, even at point blank.
Take even a step away and you have full stacks.
This is why Amos’ Bow is stupidly good on Ganyu. Base 46, ATK% secondary, Normal/Charged boost passive and a further boost to her Charged attacks, with guaranteed 3 stacks on the Bloom….
This is also why the Slingshot doesn’t do well on her, because the Bloom has such a delay on it, the ability will never apply to the Bloom……..
