Icetide Vortex
#Sharp frost, swift blade.
Press
Slashes swiftly, dealing Cryo DMG.
When it hits an opponent, Eula gains a stack of Grimheart that stacks up to 2 times. These stacks can only be gained once every 0.3s.
Grimheart
Increases Eula's resistance to interruption and DEF.
Hold
Wielding her sword, Eula consumes all the stacks of Grimheart and lashes forward, dealing AoE Cryo DMG to opponents in front of her.
If Grimheart stacks are consumed, surrounding opponents will have their Physical RES and Cryo RES decreased.
Each consumed stack of Grimheart will be converted into an Icewhirl Brand that deals Cryo DMG to nearby opponents.
"So the waves roiled, swallowing the crown of the nobles. And ever after did each drop amidst the icy waves reflect a golden crown, each and every droplet of the spray shining with its light."

Glacial Illumination
Brandishes her greatsword, dealing Cryo DMG to nearby opponents and creating a Lightfall Sword that follows her around for a duration of up to 7s.
While present, the Lightfall Sword increases Eula's resistance to interruption. When Eula's own Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst deal DMG to opponents, they will charge the Lightfall Sword, which can gain an energy stack once every 0.1s.
Once its duration ends, the Lightfall Sword will descend and explode violently, dealing Physical DMG to nearby opponents.
This DMG scales on the number of energy stacks the Lightfall Sword has accumulated.
If Eula leaves the field, the Lightfall Sword will explode immediately.
It is easy to sink. But even so, she desires to freeze this oncoming tide.

Eula's specialty. It's hard to say if the unorthodox, non-round shape is meant to flout tradition or express her "tooth for a tooth" ethos. A salty, fresh, smoked flavor emanates from under the golden outer crust, its body and intensity likely unmatched by anyone else in Mondstadt. Best not to tell her that, though, lest she "remember" it.

Hello
Captain Eula Lawrence, Spindrift Knight, Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company. I extend to you my greetings. Huh? What's that...? Yes, Lawrence, the evil aristocrats of historical infamy. Oh, we're still very much evil. Just look at me, I'm infiltrating the inner ranks of the Knights of Favonius, all as part of a diabolical plan to exact our revenge and reclaim our former glory!

About Eula: Dance
Not all customs of the Lawrence Clan are despicable. At least the "Dance of Sacrifice" is pure and noble. It puts my mind at ease and gives me comfort. It's been years, but it's still dear to me. About the Vision
"Descendant of a depraved dynasty" isn't the most flattering reputation to have. The only way I can shake it for good is if I keep avenging my kin in my own way. Those who desire vengeance need power first, so it makes sense that I would get a Vision.

Something to Share: Bone Whistle
My bone whistle makes a versatile range of sounds, which comes in handy for confusing the enemy. I often use it to imitate the sound of the sea, which is where I get my title of "Spindrift Knight" — this despite the fact that the bone whistle is actually a Liyue tradition.... But then again, no-one seems to look too closely into that kind of thing. I'm mean, they took me on, and I'm an exile of Mondstadt trained by an outcast of Liyue...

Technically, aged Dandelion Wine should be poured into a silver goblet and allowed to breathe for 12 minutes, then you're supposed to add ice cubes, ideally so 60% of the ice is submerged beneath the wine. I refuse to do all that though, it's not worth the hassle.

About Yanfei: Encounter
This one's a long story... We ended up saving her life once when we were tracking down a batch of dangerous cargo that belonged to the Abyss Order. The Abyss Order had packed it up like regular cargo and wanted it shipped from Dornman Port to Liyue Harbor. She was acting as a consultant for the merchant vessel, where she discovered something in the cargo — and then began to investigate, putting herself in grave danger. Had we arrived just a few minutes later, it's likely she wouldn't have been so fortunate.

About Yanfei: Assessment
We've kept in touch ever since. I like how smart she is. She knows the rules, but she also knows how to be flexible and act according to the situation. More About Eula: I
The life of a Lawrence doesn't include much worth talking about... Basically, whatever you say, whatever you do, people will always despise you and treat you like a potential threat to society. It's nowhere near as bad as it used to be, though. Before I'd joined the Knights, good grief... I couldn't even buy groceries. Even Good Hunter and Mondstadt General Goods wouldn't take my money. I literally had to go out and hunt my own food and cook it over a campfire if I wanted to eat dinner.

People tell me that if I just spoke more softly, or was more polite, or acted more deferentially, others may find it easier to forgive me, but the only reason they think that way is because they've never been branded a pariah before. There is no easy path to redemption when you're a social pariah. I'm more inclined to stop tiptoeing around everyone all the time and just get out there and make them respect me the old-fashioned way! As in, we square off and if they win, I humbly accept my punishment, but if they lose, they must acquiesce to my demands... Such as... Well, I mean, if I want to buy a loaf of bread, take my darn money, for crying out loud!

The Knights of Favonius are actually fairly reasonable, at the very least they reward merit and not social status. The reason they invited me to join their ranks is because I'd sparred with some of their crack troops and won through my own sheer skill. Being an insider in the organization will make getting revenge much easier, as it removes many of life's complications, so what's not to love?

More About Eula: IV
The name Lawrence only became a social stigma after the clan fell from grace. It was once an honor to be called a Lawrence, but unfortunately, most people have forgotten about that part of history. The Grand Master says that I am performing rather well as a knight, and that if it's not enough to restore the honor of the Lawrence name, it's certainly a strong rebuttal against the one-sided opinions so many people throw around. I'm quite satisfied with that appraisal.

If my family members refuse to change their corrupt ways, or worse, continue to cause active harm in Mondstadt... I should be the one to end them, along with the Lawrence name itself. Sometimes, when it's busy in the tavern, they ask me to share a table with other customers. But once they find out that I'm a Lawrence, suddenly everyone gets indignant and provocative, and starts trying to bait me out in some way. I just want to have a drink, is that too much to ask!?

Character Details
Eula's role within the Knights of Favonius is Captain of the Reconnaisance Company.

The nature of her work means that she rarely sets foot in the city — she spends most of her time out in the wild, leading her team of scouts as they hunt down Abyss Order operatives and other monsters.

Known as the Spindrift Knight, Eula wields her blade with consummate skill, but perhaps more importantly, she is well-versed in strategy and possesses great courage and excellent intuition. Grand Master Varka had nothing but the highest praise for her, even declaring once that she was the Dandelion Knight's equal on the battlefield.

On the face of it, to have two such outstanding knights attending to the defense of Mondstadt in a single generation should be a cause for nothing but celebration. But dig a little deeper and there is a fundamental difference between Jean and Eula.

For Eula is a descendant of the once-aristocratic Lawrence Clan. The blood that flows through her veins once flowed through those of Mondstadt's oppressors during one of the darkest periods of the city's history.

Consequently, Eula has been viewed with contempt by the citizens of Mondstadt since birth. The Lawrence name stands for a legacy of depravity and despotism that stains Mondstadt's past and scars the minds of its citizens even to this day.

So, whenever Eula appears, old wounds resurface. People despise the aristocracy, and this does no favors for her reputation.

However, Eula is strong-willed and in spite of everything, she joined the Knights of Favonius and rose to the rank of Captain.

When people in the city voiced their reservations, she would respond head-on, claiming that her chosen course of action was out of a desire for "vengeance." This matter-of-fact confession would alarm them all the more and has convinced everyone that she joined the Knights of Favonius only to serve as a mole for the former aristocracy.

One person who sees things differently is Acting Grand Master Jean. In fact, she speaks rather fondly of Eula.

"The rumors are all groundless. The Spindrift Knight is simply misunderstood, that's all."
Character Story 1
Unlock ConditionUnlocks at Friendship Lv. 2
On one hand, she is a descendant of the disgraced Lawrence Clan, the scion of a corrupt aristocracy. On the other, she is one of the top two sword fighters in Mondstadt.

In other words, Eula is equal parts tainted blood and superior swordsmanship.

There is no knowing when she might strike, nor what she might take from you... In the eyes of the citizens of Mondstadt, the Reconnaissance Captain is as unpredictable and tumultuous as the waves on a stormy sea.

Eula responds with a cold haughtiness to accusations of this nature. To any who dare insinuate such things to her face, she replies, "How dare you. Hmph, I will remember this."

She is consumed by the desire to avenge herself, but is often on the move far away from the city. Sometimes upon her return to Mondstadt, she will brandish her greatsword and march straight to the Knights of Favonius headquarters.

On one occasion, two fresh recruits standing guard on their first day on patrol watched this scene play out before their eyes. Alarmed and unsure how to respond, they ultimately did not dare to intervene. Instead, they simply watched on helplessly while Eula made a beeline for Master Jean's office.

Much to their surprise, however, hours passed and no sound of a struggle was heard from within.

Still worried, the guards raised their concerns to Cavalry Captain Kaeya and Librarian Lisa as they were passing by.

"The Reconnaissance Captain is back again? When you saw her, was it when she was marching towards Jean's office with her sword in hand, looking like she wanted to kill somebody?"

"Goodness, I must head there straight away. How can they have a tea break without me?"

Lisa hurried to Jean's office the moment she finished speaking. Meanwhile, Kaeya took the two guards outside and explained to them whilst trying to suppress a fit of the giggles:

"We all know that the Acting Grand Master is a good judge of character, don't we? The Knights of Favonius are interested in a person's ability, not their family history. That's why she gives up her time to spar with the Reconnaissance Captain. In doing so, she can preserve the dignity of the Knights of Favonius while also providing a way of settling old grievances. Quite brilliant, don't you think?"

"Ohh... S—So that's how it is..." "...So 'tea break' is code for 'sparring'...?"

This kind of thing occurs almost on a monthly basis. But... if they're engaged in some sort of strange sparring ritual in there for the sake of settling old grievances and honing their fighting skills... How come they don't make a ton of noise?
Character Story 2
Unlock ConditionUnlocks at Friendship Lv. 3
In truth, Eula is nothing like the fearsome predator many imagine her to be. On the contrary, constantly being met with prejudice at every turn means she is often the victim.

At one time, shops would refuse to sell her their goods, restaurants would put no care and attention into her orders, and the citizens on her patrol route would refuse to cooperate with her. So, Eula's work is fraught with difficulties.

When conflict arises, Eula fights back with a sternly worded threat to indicate that she will remember this grievance and make the offending party pay for it one day. It seems to work like a magic spell, because as soon as these words are uttered, the conflict ceases immediately without ever having to escalate to the level of an all-out confrontation.

Funnily enough, although people always have their guard up around Eula, she is a law-abiding citizen and has never harmed another Mondstadter in her life. She may come across as having a somewhat frosty demeanor, but she is entirely scrupulous in her speech and conduct.

No-one can ever find fault with her actions, and as people gradually get to know her, their morbid fear of her will dissipate. They will also start to realize her threats of vengeance are nothing more than a figure of speech that simply serve as a verbal warning in the moment.

Eula, who may or may not be working to bring down the Knights of Favonius from the inside... Eula, who may or may not be an aristocrat mole... New recruits in the Knights of Favonius find her the most difficult person to deal with.

When Jean sends a new recruit to track down Eula in the wilds and deliver a new set of verbal orders, they always receive the same response: "If you have to resort to tasking the descendant of your former oppressors with doing your work, then perhaps you are not as strong as I thought."

But despite the antagonism in her words, she will complete her newly assigned tasks to perfection. The new recruit is invariably forced to admit that with her abilities, it is no wonder she was able to achieve a captaincy within just a few years of joining the Knights.

Everyone knows Eula is the frosty and antagonistic Spindrift Knight, the aristocrat who has a score to settle with the Knights of Favonius, the openly hostile and potentially dangerous individual... but is this really the truth of who she is?

On the way back, the new recruit thinks back over Eula's every action.

What was that kind and resilient look I saw in her eyes when she wasn't looking at me? She seems to take her job seriously... So, surely she can be relied on after all?
Character Story 3
Unlock ConditionUnlocks at Friendship Lv. 4
Mondstadt is a city of freedom and happiness where even the descendants of a disgraced former ruling class can find true friends.

If there is one person among the Mondstadt masses that Eula can trust, it is Outrider Amber.

Everybody loves Amber, so when she is around, shopkeepers will sell their wares to Eula at the normal price. If they're in an especially good mood, they may even say a few words to her during the process. It is at moments like this that Eula shows her most agreeable side.

Because of this, and because Amber is just so nice, she'll often accompany Eula on trips out, or even run all her errands for her and deliver the goods straight to her home.

Amber is also the reason that the city folk end up hearing all about the Reconnaissance Captain's accomplishments out in the field. Each time Amber informs them of Eula's long list of achievements in battle, they can't help but let out a little gasp of surprise.

Early one weekend morning, Amber stood behind a makeshift rostrum erected on a wooden crate and began announcing Eula's latest highlights: "Recently, the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Captain saved the life of a woman at Dornman Port. After further investigation with this woman's close cooperation, she then proceeded to successfully capture all the Abyss Order operatives hiding in the vicinity of the port. The woman in question was a renowned legal expert from Liyue, and the Knights of Favonius have since received official correspondence from the Liyue Communications Office thanking the Reconnaissance Captain for her deeds..."

Whether because Amber's persistent efforts have overcome historical prejudices or because Eula's achievements as a knight have quelled the long-standing fear in people's hearts, Eula's life has changed noticeably in recent years. Most of the city folk are no longer hostile towards her, and she has won over the members of the Knights of Favonius with her consistent results in the field.

As for the members of the Reconnaissance Company under her leadership, they support her unconditionally. They always have her back when they head out to Mondstadt's outskirts to defend the peace of their nation.

Of course, the person who has always tirelessly rooted for Eula and is now the most delighted to see people's attitudes towards her change is Amber. They had been friends for a long time before Eula ever joined the Knights of Favonius, and as the granddaughter and beloved mentee of the first Outrider, Eula trusts her completely.

One might not expect this from her frosty attitude and sharp tongue, but Eula is a talented chef.

The Reconnaissance Company today prides itself on having the best field rations in the Knights of Favonius. One staple of their inventory is a moon-shaped pie. Though a field ration, this wonderfully delicious and highly portable food is loved by all who try it.

The Reconnaissance Company's designated chef once admitted that when developing this item, she was inspired by the captain's own baked goods. She extended the baking time to make the crust tougher and also substituted a few highly perishable ingredients with ones that last longer, reducing the cost while significantly prolonging the shelf life.

Even after such a major change to the recipe, the pie still tasted delicious. So, whenever the scouts are snacking, they can't help but wonder: If this is the field ration version, how delicious must the captain's original recipe taste?

The answer to this question is buried deep within the pages of a dusty old book in the library. The Lawrence Clan may have been overthrown a long time ago, but they have never given up hope of one day rising again and reclaiming their place as the ruling class. So that they are always prepared for this monumental moment, their offspring are subjected to an educational regime so unbelievably harsh that it is considered borderline abusive.

"Noble obligations" must be performed to absolute perfection in every possible sense, and these obligations cover etiquette, ritual, and study as well as cooking and other domestic chores.

In the eyes of the Lawrence Clan, "Post-liberation Mondstadt lacks etiquette and taste. When the day comes for our clan to seize power once more, there shall be none who are qualified to be our servants. We must be cautious. We must never stoop to the level of the commoners and set foot in the quagmire of vulgarity."

The Lawrence Clan's culinary arts teacher was particularly strict. If your dough was missing a half-spoonful of flour, or if your condiment was a few grains of salt short, or if you were two seconds late removing something from the oven, you were likely to be both scolded and disciplined. As far as Eula is concerned, the haute cuisine revered by the aristocrats is just another worthless consequence of people dogmatically following outdated rules.

For this reason, the only kind of person who Eula will permit to try her own home baking is someone who she... respects...? No, that would be taking it too far. Rather, it should be someone who she grudgingly accepts "will keep following me around and bothering me, seemingly undeterred by my warnings, despite having crossed me many times to date."
Character Story 5
Unlock ConditionUnlocks at Friendship Lv. 6
Besides traditional etiquette, art is the second most highly prized asset to the aristocrats, known as the "second soul."

The "Dance of Sacrifice" — a ritual used by illustrious families to display their nobility — is thought of as the crystallized form of this soul, the prize gem in the ruler's scepter.

Folklore holds that Mondstadt's most illustrious clans jointly created the Dance of Sacrifice long before the aristocracy's reign of bloodshed began.

The third act, which represents the Lawrence Clan, is a solo dance known as "Flickering Candlelight." The most important part of the Dance of Sacrifice, it was performed by the most senior dancer, who was typically the eldest daughter of the clan.

The Lawrence Clan would summon top dancers to serve as tutors for the eldest daughter and ensure it was performed to perfection. Bleeding toes were seen as a point of pride and a rite of passage for every dancer.

This ancient ceremony was a continuous tradition for so long that even today, long after being expelled by the people of Mondstadt, the Lawrence Clan still honors it.

However, without the grand banquet and the gorgeous stage that once featured prominently in ceremonial performances, the Dance of Sacrifice is now far from the grandiose affair it once was. Furthermore, the stringent requirements regarding the dancer's posture and movements have also been relaxed due to the lack of tutors. In the end, the Lawrence Clan reluctantly decided that it could no longer be a mandatory part of the curriculum, and they relegated it to a artistic pastime.

Over time, the negative connotations and elitist expectations associated with this dance have faded away, and today it survives simply as a graceful dance.

As the eldest daughter of the present-day Lawrence Clan, Eula found it to be a relaxing pastime in her youth and a welcome respite from her other grueling courses of study.

Today, Eula appears to have put her artistic pursuits behind her. At least, no-one pictures dancing when they think of the Spindrift Knight.

Nevertheless, a distinctly dance-like aesthetic can be observed in Eula's bladework, along with an elegant rhythm and musicality that are difficult to capture in words.

As her greatsword rises and falls and sways to and fro, her distinctive and graceful poise is like that of a dancer under the moonlight: faraway, immaculate, and sublime.
Glaciers and Waves
Unlock ConditionUnlocks at Friendship Lv. 4
Eula is the bearer of the Lawrence family crest, the "Glacial Seal." It is the highest martial symbol of the clan and represents the spirit of the Lawrence Clan in the early days of Mondstadt before their fall from grace: cold and unsullied, undaunted by any flame, composed and unshaken in all circumstances.

Few among their number have passed the clan's trials in a thousand years, and the hopes of the clan are passed from one seal-bearer to the next.

Eula was still quite young when she underwent the trial but she passed with ease, taking up the seal in the process. Then she departed with that badge of honor in her possession and has contacted the clan little since.

Her icy sword is a manifestation of that strength, whipping about her like a frigid blizzard and driving her foes back.

Yet sharp and bright as ice as she is, she has the nickname of "Spindrift Knight," leading many who hear that name to assume that she manipulates Hydro instead.

There is a story behind that misunderstanding — the story of a habit.

Eula carries an exquisitely crafted bone whistle by her side at all times. Each time she blows it, the air will be filled with the vivid sound of ocean waves.

The area her company is in charge of borders the sea, and to them, the sound of waves is an excellent tool for disturbing an enemy's judgment, or for deceiving less intelligent monsters into believing that a great wave is upon them, causing them to thusly flee.

Eula has often emerged victorious even when pitting lesser numbers against greater forces in this way, and her unique combat tactics have earned her the moniker of "Spindrift Knight."

Of course, a bone whistle is capable of imitating many other sounds, and Eula has her reasons for imitating the ocean waves.

It would seem that "Glacier Knight" or something similar might suit her better.

But perhaps Eula herself prefers the rolling waves to the unmoving ice...

Wandering across the world, meeting and embracing reefs and sands alike with just the right intensity.

The free and unbound ocean spray is more akin to her inclinations than a thing so keen and frozen in time.
Vision
Unlock ConditionUnlocks at Friendship Lv. 6
What is the true nature of a "grievance"?

Is it dismal circumstance? An unfortunate past?

And what does "vengeance" mean?

Is it to obtain justice and satisfaction? Or to drive one's foes into a chasm of agony?

Reclamation of the clan's past glories, winning the awe of the common folk, standing once more at the apex of rulership... These things are utterly unimportant to Eula.

She never experienced that so-called humiliation — indeed, it was her clan that tormented her endlessly. She then attempted to free herself from these shackles, yet struggled to obtain the acknowledgment of others.

Her grievances and vengeance are but a habit, a signal, a shield.

What remarks she should just laugh off, what concepts she should bear in mind given her unique circumstances and position...

How she should fight to settle the weighty issue of her bloodline once and for all...

It was with such doubts and more that Eula came under the tutelage of a long-forgotten old Outrider. From him, she learned an open-mindedness and down-to-earth persistence that she had heretofore not possessed.

Before grievance and vengeance, before clan and outsider, one must find "oneself" first.

One's way of living, self-preservation, objects of perseverance...

Then call it "grievance" and name it "vengeance" — that will not change its essential strength and goodness.

It would be Eula's very own gentle path of revenge... When she did at last find it, there it appeared before her — her Vision.

Well, now i see why Eula need Song Of Broken Pines, i have tested in Song Of Broken Pines and Wolf Graveston, eihter Unforgotted just a few days ago, Song Of Broken Pines do very much damge, well with the combo we see in general E Q N4 Hold E N4 we get max 13 stacks, some one says with E Q E N4 Hold E N4 we can get 14 stacks (this combo i not comfirme beacause i didn”t test it yet).

So with 13 stacks, with Song Of Broken Pines, because your attack speed with this weapon passive, you will get at least 1 more stacks, and 2 – 3 stacks (if you do exactly the combo) more than any claymore out there, so bassically, we get 1.927,12% Damge of her Q (13 * 148.24 when Q potential was level 10) but with 15 stacks and (if have Song Of Broken Pines) we will do at least more 300% of her Q, that was strong different.

So Wolf Gravestone when you go to abyss, this weapon passive is so hard to active, so the Song Of Broken Pines will No.1 rigth now for Eula. The Weapon i think is close with Song Of Broken Pines was The Unforgotted, but have to sure that you gets the shield enough time, Skyward is give you Energy Recharge so this is good for recharge engergy for Her Q.

You can use ER sands, but it’s a bad ‘solution’ to Eula’s energy problem because you will lose out on a lot of damage from not using an attack% sands. The real solution is to just build her as a standard DPS (Cr, Cd, Atk%) and use an energy battery to charge her ult. Skyward isn’t optimal either, because you will lose out on a lot of damage overall unless you want to play just Eula for some reason and ignore team comp.

Yes, Pines is her best overall weapon. The attack speed factors into a large damage increase and synergizes with her entire kit. However, WGS is perfectly fine as a suitable replacement. The damage difference between the two greatswords isn’t as noteworthy as Ganyu with Amos Bow vs any other bow. People like to underestimate WGS as a statstick just because it has ATK% substat. FYI, you can’t disregard ATK% all together; it’s still a very important substat. Once a 5-star critical damage/critical rate greatsword is released, it will probably be very close to BIS for Eula.

You also wake up to complain here and on reddit about MHY. I would bet my house that you were one of the people that complained about the “difficulty” of version 1.5 Abyss 12-3.

That’s because you didn’t roll meta. The Heralds were basically a joke. The entire thing was basically a Ganyu check; if you had her, even at C0 she’d face roll the entire thing. It was the easiest 36 stars since I started playing Genshin, but it was apparently impossible for others. Same thing with version 1.6 Abyss; easiest 36 stars if you have at least 4-star Sucrose, or even better, Venti.

I LOVE how people complain about meta slaves, but then cry about MHY’s decisions and “difficult” events/abyss in other public posts. They typically disguise themselves though, because they don’t want to be seen contradicting themselves. By the way, most ‘meta slaves’ are P2W anyways, so they just pull for everything at some point anyways.

Yeah, ‘enjoy casually’ but wake up and cry behind the backs of the people you complain about. That’s the way for you.

I personally have them both and they are awesome and fun characters. If you want Eula, go for it. In the end it’s just a game where the point is to have fun.

These people probably have copium, which is why they are defending a 4 star weapon over a 5 star one. Moral of the story: 5* will always be better than 4* unless that 4* is an R5 serpent spine.

A 5* Claymore usually have wide gap of base stat that even though 4* claymore have better sub stat category it can’t compete.
Unforged, Wolf Gravestone, Song of Broken Pines and Skyward Pride are all best in slot for Eula at the moment.

IF they release a Crit rate or Crit damage claymore in the future, it is going to be a lot more powerful then these choices though.

If you don’t have them usually people go for the Serpent Spine because it provide crit rate make you take less time to farm for perfect sub stats for your artifact. Snow Tomb is alright, but you have to roll a very very good crit% sub stat for your artifcats to compete with Serpent Spine. Even then, Serpent Spine out damage every 4* weapons IF you can manage to not get hit.

Yup 5 star weapon has better stat scaling too and hoyolabs eula analysis rank them like this.
        1. Unforged (need sheild)
        2. Wolf gravestone
        3. Song of Broken Pines
        4. Skyward Pride.
So it’s like u said and They’re pretty close too.

If they did release a crit rate claymore or cdmg then it be the best universal weapon overall for claymore users.

Why are you assuming that the a crit damage claymore would be better than BP and WGS? if we will categorize it then it would fall under the elemental side and not physical side so it wouldn’t benefit Eula at all.
Jade Claymore will be better for consistency but Misplitter Claymore would most likely just give crit damage so the effect won’t benefit Eula.

now that shes here (and she almost didn´t come home! took all my 110 wishes as f2p) I want to give my opinion on things and compare her to other characters

my Eula is lvl.80 c0, fully ascended with Snow-Tombed R1 lvl.90 / 65% crit rate / 135% crit damage, 2pc pale, 2pale bloodstained, so there is room for improvement with better artifacts, (physdmg bonus around 130+%). Talents are 8 / 6 / 8.

her basic attacks against any low-res enemy (small hilichurls, treasure hoarders, fatui agents) deal around 4,5-6k on multihits (attack string 3 and 5) and 7,5-9k on single hits (attack strings 1, 2, 4). Apply superconduct which is easy as heck with a single E tap and all basic attack damage goes up by around 3k+. Apply her own physical shred on top of that and things get ridiculous with basic attack non-elemental damage.

Her tap E is fast and has a 4sec cooldown which flows nicely with in-combo animation canceling (think Diluc but with a single charge) but gets some time getting used to (example: tapping too early and canceling the second hit on a multihit string, or not wanting to cancel the 4th attack of her basic combo since it has the biggest multiplier). Her hold E has a 10sec cooldown which is acceptable and building 2 stacks is easy, but it has a notable delay coming out leaving Eula open to knockbacks and damage. I wasn´t expecting the cryo damage to be high since you build for physical but to my surprise at talent level 6, the cryo slash deals 4k and the blades deal around 4k or 6k+ if you are shredding resistance, and the shattered lightfall explosion deals around 20k always since you always have 2 stacks for phys shred.

Her ultimate is what made me pull for her since im a sucker for combo oriented characters. The cryo swing has a very very nice AoE reaching some far back enemies and since you want to apply electro before switching to her it makes it easier to get the cryo status for superconduct on all enemies on the field. Now, before she was released I was speculating reaching 14 stacks but I was not taking in consideration a mechanic not yet explored in the game which is Hitlag (hitting enemies pauses everything for a split second for cosmetic purposes) in reality you average 10-11-12 stacks for a total of around 180k – 220k damage. I really, really like her energy generation, even without a cryo battery teammate she can fend for herself since I have around 140% energy recharge with some artifacts substats. Even with her lightfall sword following her around you still generate energy particles no problem. (looking at you Xiao…)

Now I want to talk about ultimate stacking in depth. With a perfect combo, low ping, and a good computer that doesn´t make the game stutter, you can hit 14 stacks c0. The combo is as follows:
Tap E → Launch Q Burst → Tap E (1stack)→ full basic attack string (7 stacks) → hold E (4 stacks) → basic attack 2 times (2 stacks) → sword explodes literally after hitting the second hit
(for you c2 peeps out there you hold E after launching your burst and tap E when its off cooldown, this is very damage overall only unlocked by her seconds constellation)

1 + 7 + 4 + 2 = 14 stacks! You can only manage this fighting against a SINGLE enemy, if you hit 2 at the same time the hitlag piles up and you lose more precious split seconds of your ultimate, also I think you cannot receive damage even while shielded since I think there is also hitlag while being hit but this requires more testing. Sadly, I dont know how much damage this deals since every single enemy I´ve fought while managing to get 14 stacks dies before the sword explodes, even the open world bosses, only the big geovishap boss (not the weekly one) can tank that much damage but its not a correct measure since his physical resistance is off the charts.

After all, I like her design, kit and damage. Very excellent performance for a 4* weapon and mediocre artifacts. Comparing her to other characters I do believe she outdamages my Diluc by a tiny itty bitty bit. She doesn´t outdamages my Xiao (well, he has Homa and 70%/190% crit so…) but is more consistent due to always dealing physical and generating particles all the time. I dont have Ganyu or Hu Tao, but those 2 blow everything out of the water however I´ve never liked Hu Tao´s berserker playstyle so I don´t care. Ganyu is still the most broken character in the game no contest, she outdamages *almost* every character currently in the roster by just aiming her bow, no elemental skill or burst needed. (if you have Ganyu and still haven´t cleared floor 11 with 9 stars you are doing something wrong… fuck floor 11)

    • aggqt on 24 May 2021 at 5:51 pm

Just a quick reminder that Hu Tao hasn’t even reached her full protentional yet.
Hu Tao does not have a cryo support that can enable her to melt every single one of her charge attacks.
Nor does Hu Tao have an artifact set that fully synergizes with her tool kit. Yes, four piece Crimson Witch is best for Hu Tao, but it’s not the same as Pale Flame for Eula.

And with the most recent DPS calculations from KQM Eula at c6 still doesn’t beat Ganyu, Hu Tao, or Xiao is any setting except 10 second windows. Which is just Eula’s burst, then her DPS drops of dramatically. Eula’s sustained DPS is on par with Diluc c6. But, Diluc c6 is beated by Bennet c6 and Xaingling c6, so… take that as you will.

Who cares if you are already clearing the Abyss with 36 stars very easily? If you’re at the point that you already have at least 2 well built main DPS and proper supports, just pull for the character you like. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have all broken ass characters in this game. I don’t have Hu Tao, don’t need her and don’t want her just cause she’s not my cup of tea. I’ve been 36 star’ring the Abyss since Xiao’s release and haven’t changed my team comp ever since, and they still massacre the floors like they’re nothing.

I pulled for Eula because I love her design and personality. She still can’t out DPS my Ganyu and Xiao with same investments but she still does fine clearing the Abyss with 36 stars. Just pull for characters that you think you’ll have fun with.

Agreed, the best thing to do is to pull the characters you like, and then build them around a team. The fun part is making your comp work and continuously optimizing it with whatever you currently have rather than always listening to fixed metas. Meta slaves literally can’t think for themselves most of the time or they simply have not played enough RPGs that focuses on flexible builds in their lives.

You could just link the spread sheet directly itself. But either way.
Zakharov’s spread sheets are calculations of a characters’s damage by themselves, not the amount of total team damage they can do.
Hu Tao and Ganyu run much higher damage supports than Eula. Mean their over all damage would still be higher.

Also, Eula is only top in an AoE spread situation where thinks are not grouped up in one spot so Hu Tao can CA through all of them. Also also, Zakharov low balls Hu tao’s damage by a lot, he only does like 9 charge attacks in her E window, rather than ideal 12.

It doesn’t matter if a C6 Eula just instantly drops a 500k with just Bennett Q and a single Hold E and deletes everything, with a 140-150% ER and a Rosaria with an R5 Fav lance, you can pretty much get 100% uptime on her burst. Those are just math/calculations, actual performance will differ in practical scenarios. And does it matter if you just kill everything in just 1-2 rotations?

Im glad i skipped hu tao. I would have no need for her in any content other then maxing out the Wonderous trails which would be a waste of time to me since I already got the namecard. My Eula hits for 200k burst and im perfectly fine with it. My Diluc hits 20k Vape AAs and im fine with it. It clears content at a pace which im comfortable with. And for Hu tao to not have reached her full protentional yet? You are rocking some hardcore delusions when XQ exists. For all we know Baal will give teammates a 50% PHY shred and DEF Shred. Imagine if a character could beat Hu tao? Yes. Ganyu exists. Sorry for the rant but Meta Slaves make me mad with this. Just let people enjoy the character for what they are instead of spewing out “MY CHARACTER THAT I LIKE IS BETTER!!! HERE LOOK AT THE FACTS, LOOK AT THE DATA!!! DO YOU SEE IT??? OH BTW SHES ON PAR WITH A 4* CHARACTER KEKW!” I don’t think anyone cares about how much damage a character is doing and are just rolling cause we like their looks or playstyle. Imagine thinking there wasn’t an entire community full of people (reddit) that LITERALLY cried because the event was too hard, and they couldn’t even get the name card… IN-CO-OP. Imagine that. No need. Because it’s real. Just look at the threads. Both hilarious and sad. It makes sense though, because unlike the hardcores that search on HoneyImpact, a large majority of the player base can’t even clear 11-3… or 12-3. Then, there is the silent majority who do not even frequent Reddit, Forums or HoneyImpact that can’t even do anything except clear 9-1; their cries cannot even be heard.

Oh, and meta slave is fine because Abyss 1.6 and the Energy Amplification event were basically a Ganyu checks. Kekw for sure, baby!

            • You're Wrong. on 19 June 2021 at 8:38 pm

I also forgot, so many people on reddit complained “I dont even care if it’s easier. Game just feels like shit when you can’t use your skills” which was basically the gimmick of the 1.6 Abyss floor. LOL. That’s funny because I pulled for meta, GANYU uses charge attacks and Eula uses physical auto attacks. What skill usage??? ROFL.

Also, I pulled for Venti (who has always been good) but basically is busted now in 1.7 because of anemo buffs. He can clear all off Abyss, even with crap gear because Swirl hits so hard. Meta slave wins again.

Good luck clearing jack sh*t, unless you have anemo. Hopefully your ‘waifu’ is Sucrose. LOL.

There will never be a unit that can apply cryo fast enough for that to happen, Pyro removes Cryo gauge really fast and the developers are already aware of the melt/vape strenght and are dancing around it, that’s why they are taking so long in releasing another Hydro character, so that they don’t increase Pyro’s damage or give controlled out of field cryo application to new characters for the same reason, that’s also why we mainly see selfish damage oriented characters in those 3 elements.

And on the same line of thinking we are yet to see a support that buffs attack speed as his main mechanic, they can be any element since Eula really just needs an electro teammate and also wait until claymore gets a crit oriented weapon like Homa, Eula has many viable weapons but not one that really fits her damage as well as Homa does to Hu Tao.

I wouldn’t be so sure, you can make comps that melt a decent amount of Hu Tao’s charge attacks. Just not all of them.

And Eula doesn’t need more attack speed. With r5 Pines she can hit max stacks on her burst. So more attack speed won’t do anything for her.

And who can guarantee that the day when Hu Tao will reach her “full potential” will even come? After all you’re just speculating.
Eula also doesn’t have a weapon that is as broken as SoH is for Hu Tao. And what if the electro archon turns out to be the best support in the game? Eula will most likely synergy with her, and HT won’t. What if dendro+cryo reaction is even stronger than superconduct?

As I mentioned in a previous post. Physical resistance can already be reduced lower than 0%, and the more below 0% you go, the more wasted it is. So if cryo and dendro did like an 80% physical shred, it would be better, but only by a very small amount because of diminishing returns. Same goes for physical damage bonus. It’s already over 100% bonus damage for Eula, more and more just means more diminishing returns and less total value from it.

Staff of Homa doesn’t increase elemental bonus. It’s increase atk bonus, and crit dmg. It’s good regardless of which element.
It’s like you don’t even know Hutao enough.

Likewise a “Claymore of Homa” shouldn’t be shoehorn to Phys dmg only.
You have such a narrow vision focusing on Eula’s phys dmg only I doubt you’re being objective in your comments.

Regardless, at least Melt Bennett and Xiangling is better than Hutao.

Bro, Hutao is meant for mobs clearing so why are you comparing her to Eula who is meant for boss slaying? of course, Hutao would be faster to clear mobs in Abyss. Let’s face it: Damage wise, Eula takes the cup but Hutao takes the cup for viability and practicality. There’s no pvp in Genshin so I don’t see your point in your rants.

Yes yes she is overpowered for now but in genshin your dps will get weaker in the next updates because they will make the next units even more powerful. So just roll for the dps’s you like even if that happens

That doesn’t look like the case at all. People are simping over Ayaka, but to be honest, her kit looks decidingly ‘better-than-average’. The other people are crying about Kazuha being ‘forgotten’ and Yoimiya being ‘too weak’.

Ganyu and Hu Tao will remain on top of the ‘DPS rankings’ for at least another year. It’s not hard to see that though. Both are really, really broken at what they do and are extremely overtuned. For example, I am not seeing how a new DPS will top LITERALLY 30k+ charged shots/bloom damage (I have C0, Amos and a good Wanderer’s set), the ability to work in 2 of the best comps right now (melt/freeze), RANGED attacks and also have the capability of being an S+ tier support with an extremely good AOE low energy burst. I feel they actually made a mistake making a DPS with a kit this powerful.

Please, enlighten me as to how they will make the “next units even more powerful”. Please do so.

Nope. You are wrong. Eula is really overpowered but she’s only good for single hits so I can say that Xiao, Hutao and Ganyu are still better for their viability and practicality as they can clear mobs with ease.
Need someone for Abyss? then don’t use Eula unless there’s a buff for her class, better use other aoe specialists such as the aforementioned three above.
Need someone to kill bosses with ease? then Eula is the right gal for the job.
Physical damage type unit’s only weakness would be shield/barrier mages so I don’t see your point as to why your are telling that she would be benched when Inazume characters would be out. Heck, yeah she’s powerful but to be honest I find her to be bland so I still stick to my dps Jean for fun vacuum action.

Finally hit above 150k Hold E with no food! https://youtu.be/piHfDoRayGc
    Eula is C6/lvl90/WGS R1 lvl80/4pc LW/Lvl 12 Skill/ 46/189
Diona has R2 Elegy and 4pcinstructor
Sucrose has sac book and 4pcVV
    Bennett is C6/Lvl80/Aquilla lvl 80/ 4pc NO/Lvl13 skill
Getting this was quite hard since my CR is so low and maybe I can reach 200k DMG sooner or later since in the video WGS passive did not proc until after the Hold E. I’ll try to keep my twitter updated with this as I continue forward but 200k is the ceiling. Going forward thou Kazuha will be interesting to experiment with in this comp so I’ll be looking forward to that. Cheers!

Serpent spine is the best 4* wep as long u keep the stacks up, easy to do with a shield character.
Snow tomb is still good, it give phy dmg bonus to her and also is archaic too cuz it is consistent.

“She is bad, she is not good, she is underwhelming, Razor C6 is better than her, F2P should skip her, bla bla bla, ya da ya da ya da”. Why? So F2P should only pull OP broken character? For what?

Sometimes I think Genshin Community is ridiculous. It’s PVE game for f sake. Does it matter who does higher damage, who stays at top or below. Are you proud for having OP broken characters while not OP broken characters can clear 36 starring hardest content in the game. Hell even F2P can 36 starring it without OP broken characters.
Pull any character you like, it’s GACHA GAME, it’s 30 mins- 1 hour game at ‘ End Game’ for most of people unless you are streamer, hardest content is just a BEWEEKLY THING, 30 min – 1 hour content. If you only like OP broken characters then I have nothing to say, its your primo anyway, but for what?

Except you are wrong, I am F2P and play since early October, I built her day one I got her. 70ish CR, 140ish CRDMG, 140ish ER, around 1900 Atk. More than 100phys dmg bonus. Not everything he said 100% true. I guess he is your role figure, to the point you have to mention his name in your argument. To tell you the truth, Eula investment in term of artifact is just a little higher than Xiao or maybe about the same. Xiao BiS is 2VV and 2Glad. Yeah 2Glad.

This “Tony” guy is a veteran who is probably one of the only people in the world who can have such high damage output. Also saying “Is he like your God or something” can be considered offensive as people have dedicated their hearts to a specific religion/culture. The next time you talk, please consider your actions before doing so and find out why they might of mentioned a name. If you are wondering, Tony has a youtube channel called “Tony To”. His channel includes his insane damage.

            • WhatASimp on 2 June 2021 at 8:23 am

            1. I don’t care about his insane damage. Personally, it’s not an achievement to me.
            2. He is wrong about “You would not even be able to build them comment”, don’t speak about something you don’t even know.
            3. I didn’t offend some God or religion. It’s just you who dramatized things. If you have opinion, speak for yourself, don’t mention some name like is 100% true just because of 4-5M damage, I heard that damage and that name. It’s ridiculous.
            4. This is forum for discussion, I respond accordingly to his argument. So don’t “next time you talk, pls consider..” me.
            5. Like I said, I heard about his name, heard about his damage, don’t care. No need to promote his channel. It doesn’t make him a great player. Go pure F2P and beat Spiral Abyss in 121 rounds and I would consider him a great player.

            • Is he like your God or something? on 2 June 2021 at 8:39 am

I heard some streamer said nobody likes him. I guess he is wrong. I found one here. Kekw. That 4M damage has some effect huh.

Is he like your God or something?
            Oops.

            • Brian on 2 June 2021 at 9:26 am

Learn from this discussion, next time you want to make an argument, don’t bring someone else name. Make an argument based on fact and data.
Now, let me ask you, do you think what he said is correct about F2P should skip Eula because F2P would not be able to build her? Is this an opinion or fact?

Your answer will determine if you are a objective person or just a complete ignorant fool.

            • GlassHeart on 2 June 2021 at 12:26 pm

“…why they might of mentioned a name”.

He made 4 M damage, is that why he mentioned his name? Does that mean what he said is true? Does that make sense to you?

Welcome to the world, not everyone is friendly. Not everything is sweet.

Expect something like that when you make an “absurd comment”.
